    Things I liked:

Feels pretty good. M-14 was my issue weapon in USMC in Vietnam. Sights are really nice. Air Venturi scope mount fits perfect, and is adjustable just like the real thing.

    Things I would have changed:

Stock could have been closer to real thing. Miss the magazine. Any chance of making a gas piston? Had to remove some material from bottom rear of scope mount so the peep wasn't blurred (arch cutout should be slightly larger). Really needs to have sling mounts.

    What others should know:

No instructions for adjusting optional scope mount. If you use a scope, you absolutely need an add-on cheek piece. This is not a superb replica, but it is a blast to shoot and very accurate with heavier pellets. Any chance of doing a test of the H&N .22 slugs various diameters and weights? I'm just cheap and don't want to invest in all the different types.

    Things I liked:

Fun to shoot. The adjustable sights work well. Excellent value.

    Things I would have changed:

Can't mount a scope without the shortest rings you can buy then shim it more to get the elevation centered. Windage is not a problem but elevation is. Both rifles I have had problems. One I repaired and one that needs to go back to Air Venturi.

    What others should know:

If your rifle needs repair don't count on Air Venturi. They are unresponsive.

    Things I liked:

Got mine the other day. Very HAPPY! 2nd shot at a ravioli can and the chef wasn't smiling any more. Took a few pot shots too. It shot bbs 150 feet with expected accuracy. Its a nice replica, but not exact.

    Things I would have changed:

Not anything. Easy to use. FUN to own!

    What others should know:

It is not a "spot on" replica. But is cool and fun to shoot.

    Things I liked:

I love the wood stock and the detail of the rifle. Looks and feels like the real deal. The trigger is better than most pellet rifles. Not a mile of take-up.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a box magazine for looks and storage. Maybe even change the design to accept a functional magazine for multiple shots.

    What others should know:

If you're an older shooter with older shooter eyes, get the scope mount and mount a red dot. The peep sight is great for younger eyes, but not so great for me.

    Things I liked:

I carried one in Basic Training and the weight reminds me of the real thing. It looks and feels really familiar. I wouldn't say it was easy to cock but with the extension it is acceptable. I have owned a real M1A and it matches pretty close except the stock is a little thick and the missing magazine looks out of place. I need to get it to an outdoor range to try it at distance. At close range the .22 Cal really packs a punch. I like it.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't see anything I would change but I do think that with a little bit of cosmetic tooling you would get a beautiful M1 Garand on the same basic platform. The rifle internals wouldn't need any changes just externals with a two piece wooden stock and the bayonet lug, front sight, gas piston and flash hider. After all the M1 Garand is where the M1A/M14 came from.

    What others should know:

I had some reservations about it when it was first announced because it just didn't look right with no magazine hanging down. Now that I have it I just wish I was a little younger so I could handle the weight which is as I remember it. Just hold it straight out at shoulder length and see how long you can make it. That's realistic. I do know that if they come out with an M1 Garand version I think I might buy that one too.

    Things I liked:

Carried a XM 21 in the infantry, and own several M1As. Chronographed 14.3 Crossman Premiers at 740 fps avg. Sight in was quick, 5 shots got her on, the sights are very good. Group at 30 paces (25 yards, bench rest) was .75 inches, so the accuracy is there. Trigger pull is very light with no creep, which was not expected, better than my match M1A. Stock is a bit oversized, forward of the trigger guard, but probably needs to be. Bear in mind, M14 match and more commonly issued birch stocks (big red stocks) are larger than the original issue walnut (not used for long) or fiberglass stock. If viewed relative to a issue birch big red, this stock is fairly close, in both size and wood grain. The rifle cocking effort is minimal for the power. Be aware the safety is backwards in operation compared to a M14.

    Things I would have changed:

Add sling attachment points. There is plenty of room with the cocking leaver back to clear a 20 round fake magazine, and would look good with one. Am planning on cutting down a 20rd magazine, and attaching to stock.

    What others should know:

A standard M14/M1A scope mount will not work without some modification. You are probably better off getting the one made for this rifle. The none slotted faux muzzle brake acts as a sort of silencer, a pretty good one, the rifle is not loud relative its power range. It looks alot like a M14, very good fit and finish, good price point, accurate, good trigger, weight very close to the real deal. Bought to supplement M1A match training efforts, appears it will work very well for that.

    Things I liked:

Great shooter, for the price not a bad deal.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock is a log, not correct in shape from the trigger guard forward it is way to large. I carried an m14 in the paratrooper before the m16s were issued. Even tool marks were still on the forearm .

    What others should know:

Please correct the stock, this would improve the appearance of this historic weapon. And should increase sales to history buffs and shooters alike.

    Things I liked:

I am a happy customer! I am a retired Navy Veteran, Boiler Technician that did multiple shore duty tours as Military Police where I qualified EXPERT with the real steel M-14. This air rifle is a fine replica of the original, shoots great with open sights, wood stock feel and looks great, solid overall finish even with the plastic parts. I plan on customizing it with laser engraving of my rating badge, police badge and naming it ShipWrec87!

    Things I would have changed:

None, will purchase another for hunting quails and rabbits in Arizona.

    What others should know:

I liked the look of the scope mount, but had problems with zeroing in the elevation. Open sights works fine for me.

    Things I liked:

It has the look and heft of a real M1 Grand. It cocks really easy no need to use extension. I am amazed at the Accuracy just using the iron sights using just plain ole Crosman Pemier 14.3gr 22cal hollow points. So I impressed I am not going to scope it for now. Shooting it is a pleasure hard to put down.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe sling mounts at almost 10# if you are going pack it around the woods. Other than that nothing.

    What others should know:

    Well worth the money

    Things I liked:

I received my rifle today, I was really impressed with it right of the bat. It came well packed, and the factory box was well packed as well. Taking the rifle out of the box and looking it over, I was totally impressed with the stock and finish overall I purchased the .22 cal, and I typically don't buy to many cheap airguns, but the style of this one caught my eye. I like peep sights, and I have competed in CMP matches with my M! Garand. So this airgun is close enough and feels very much like the real thing, only backyard friendly. I cleaned the barrel before I started any target shooting, I found it very easy to cock, no need to extend the handle. Tried a few brands of pellets in it, seems to like the JSB pellets so far. After about 50 shots so far I am getting 3/4" groups at 20 yards, I have more pellets to try, but I am very happy with the accuracy for a rifle at this price point with open sights. I only expect it to get better as it breaks in a little more. Great airgun so far.

    Things I would have changed:

I find the beartrap to be in an awkward place, but I am used to Air Arms and Weihrauch springers. It will get better with practice. Clean the barrel and inspect the muzzle. I had a small amount of plastic flashing inside the muzzle, cleaned out easy

    What others should know:

Cocking is easy, trigger is good, saftey works like the real Rifle. Excess oil in the breach just wipe it out while you break it in. Front sight is fixed and will not accept a moderator. Overall very nice Air rifle , I am pleased with the purchase

    Things I liked:

I like it. Heavy and fun to shoot with the open sights. The sights adjust and you can get on target.

    Things I would have changed:

Add something to assist loading. Make a similar 1903a3. Get a scope mount that fits. I had to give accuracy 3 due to the scope mount but more testing is required.

    What others should know:

The scope mount I received did not work. The sight support did not fit. It was to small and it could not stay in the wedge. Springfield armory did include a threaded fitting in the the wedge that was to be removed. I was able to get the windage by adjusting the screws but could not get elevation on the target. I did not receive a mount that says air Venturi on it anywhere. It was made for an m14 short gun. Return the mount if you can't find air Venturi written on it somewhere. I added shorter rings and spaced the rear mount. More to follow!
