Things I liked:

The TF97 is a solid piece of gear. The safety mechanism is foolproof yet quickly operated. The stock and chamber are deserving of an airrifle costing 2.5x more. Once sighted in the iron sights are very accurate. Power is about as high as one would want. With the right pellet, this airgun has plenty of thwack.

Things I would have changed:

I like the sights, however, the unit I received required extreme windage adjustment firing indoors. Also, the elvevation could stand to have a little more range. The underlever appeared a tad loose for a brand new out of the box unit, though, may simply be within the built to specs tolerance for the mechanism. Suggest weight reduction - it is a heavy piece.

What others should know:

The elevation was shy at the low end. I managed to zero in by taking a pair of pliars and gently bending the V of the rear sight down. I was fortunate not to snap it as spring metal is very brittle and would recommend finding a better solution.

Things I liked:

Robust and simple to use & operate. Finish is actually pretty good and I don't notice anything that isn't operating smoothly. Rifle has a good length and fits well (I'm 6'2" with 34" sleeves); cheek welds nicely on the stock.

Things I would have changed:

Better instructions. There are three (3) controls inside the trigger guard - (1) the trigger (2) the safety (3) the cocking lever release. Nothing real obvious in the manual about the cocking lever release. Or maybe that control is characteristic of under-lever guns and I'm used to using break-barrels.

What others should know:

Construction is pretty much rock solid. It's not a RWS or other european rifle but it's a good deal for the money!

    Things I liked:

i really like the stock its nice fits me very well the power amazes me every time i challenge it to shoot through 1/8 steel!!!!!!! GREAT FOR BUSTING SQUIRRELS AND OTHER SMALL GAME especially crows in the .22

    Things I would have changed:

i love this gun my idiot friend broke the bear trap trigger (i was extremely angry) so i took it out along with the spring and pin still shoots great i think i would change the scope mounting system i prefer a picitany rail

    What others should know:

great gun lots of power AWSOME VALUE FOR MONEY ive killed many crows beyond 65+ yards so there is plenty of power for squirrels maybe even a coon inside 25 yards with the .22 and a pointed pellet

    Things I liked:

Very well made air rifle i like the safety systems to include the anti-beartrap on the breech .Beautiful piece nice balance and feel gets 10 ft-lbs consistant with the .22 version

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at any price

    What others should know:

This gun shoots great after a breakin and cleaning with cphp in .22 great plinker which could take small game. I tried a variety of pellets wadcutters RWS pointed and heavies shoots the best groups with the crosman premier hollowpoints and they are much cheaper in a 500 tin. I use this gun for open sights practice I hear it shoots well with a scope but I have enough scoped guns and wanted this one for a plinker .Let me know how you like the pix..

    Things I liked:

Built as good as the gamo royal series, trigger is one stage but very prdectable .Shoots point of aim at 10 meters and a tad high at 75 meters. Likes diabolo pellets just fine haven't tried round or pointed pellets yet. Very heavy gun nice finish .>.I was expecting the cherry with dark checkering but was pleased with the dark walnut which I got seems to be a beechwood stock

    Things I would have changed:

At this price nothing but at a higher price a two stage trigger although the trigger is much better than the two stage gamo or the crosman series triggers

    What others should know:

I would expect this gun to cost around $200.00 without a scope .

    Things I liked:

I can only reiterate what others have said. This is by far the best air rifle value on today's market. I bought the .22 model, along with a Leapers 4X scope and weaver rings (with Picatinny to Weaver adapter) for under $140 and it performs as well, or better, than my RWS350 magnum. It IS picky about its ammo. I found RWS Hobby were extremely accurate, but when I switched to a slightly heavier H&N Sport, the gun shot two inches to the right. This rifle is very easy to cock but delivers velocity and power. You can shoot it all day long. The finish is surprisingly nice on both the wood stock and the blued steel. The anti-beartrap release and safety are both handily placed inside the trigger guard. I also liked that I could easily fit my fat fingers into the loading port, even with the scope in place.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger could stand some work.

    What others should know:

This is a great springer for the money. If you were raised, as I was, on Daisys and Crosmans, you'll be amazed at how this inexpensive rifle performs.

    Things I liked:

The fit, finish and accuracy was far above my expectations, for the price, I shot two five shot groups, after zeroing it in, at a 3/4 in 10 ring target at 20 yds and could not score better than 49 three x on either one. This rifle will be with me for a long time. if you can beat at near this price please let me know. I probably could have scored a 50 but I am 71 and my eyes are too.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the front sight adjustable and smaller.

    What others should know:

Try different pellets, my rifle shot left with Mauser Diablokugeln but when I changed to RWS Meisterkugeln, the group moved right and adjusted in fine.

    Things I liked:

This is the best value in the air rifle market. It is sturdy, safe, and handsome. It has plenty of range for hunting and recreation alike.

    Things I would have changed:

The fiber optic sights are easy to see, but the front sight covers the target, making pin-point accuracy difficult.

    What others should know:

Buy a variety of types of pellets because it likes some weights and types better than others. if you want to hit a coffee can at 100 feet, it will every time, with any pellet. If you want to hit a coke bottle cap at 100 feet, it will with a scope and the right pellets.

    Things I liked:

The 97 is an accurate rifle. I've bagged muskrats and squirrels with this rifle. You need a scope to bring out the best in this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

When I received my rifle there were some screws missing in the stock. I think that if Pyramyd now has control over Tech Force that quality control will be better.

    What others should know:

I mounted a Leapers 4X32 scope on my rifle and it makes all the difference. An accurate rifle for the money.
