    Things I liked:

Lots of fun! If you enjoy plinking....you have to get one period.Put a red dot scope on, buy the largest co2 case you can afford (cheaper by bulk)and daisy zinc plated bb's.Nice trigger

    Things I would have changed:

Add fold down front grip.Adjustable stock.Include recommended oil for co2's.Shoulder strap.

    What others should know:

Get oil for top of co2.Try different brands of bb's before you get them by the thousands. My gun prefered the daisys zinc plated; over crossman ,for a tighter group..Gun takes a weaver scope mount. This is not a serious tack driver,,,,but it is too much fun to ignore the 6 round burst; that rips targets bullseyes, in just a few bursts.Sure there are a few strays but not many.

    Things I liked:

I reviewed this item earlier but I forgot to mention yet another plus for this fun gun... NO batteries required!!

    What others should know:

Oh... 5 star on accuracy ??? Yeah I know it is a BB gun.. but for a short 6 shot burster and camparing it to others of this kind it is a 5. In the real world of accurate air rifles it would be somewhere in the minus numbers. Buy it for what it is and enjoy this bad boy toy.

    Things I liked:

The 6 round burst is awsome. It is alot more powerful than you would think with new CO2s in it.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it available to use refillable CO2 cartridges.

    What others should know:

This gun is fun to use and suprisinglly accurate.

    Things I liked:

    Everything, but magazine capacity.

    Things I would have changed:

A larger magazine capacity, say 45 BBs would be great, but I wouldn't trade my 30 rounder in for nuttin'! I would buy another if made available with a larger mag though.

    What others should know:

I'm 57, and my dad is 89, I bought a pair of these as the break barrels are becoming too much for Dad. Since we received these, about 10 days ago, we've been through about 3000 BB's, and about 20 CO2 cartridges... we haven't laughed and had so much fun shooting together in years!

    Things I liked:

This thing is just all out fun, shoots right on with or without scope and laser. I get about 250 shots from two Co2, and single stage trigger pull feels nice. Pyramyd Air #1 - they where very fast to ship this to my door step.

    Things I would have changed:

Maby a folding or removable stock , but nothing else.

    What others should know:

This gun is a little big so you may need two hands to keep it on the mark, and get some extra Co2, pellet gun oil and BB,s

    Things I would have changed:

    Absolutely nothing.

    What others should know:

It's a blast to shoot. And is very accurate in both modes.Single shot and burst mode. The co2 cartridge is very easy to exchange.I love it.....

    Things I liked:

ITS JUST DOWNRIGHT FUN. IT SHOOTS AT A MUCH HIGHER RATE THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD. I GET ABOUT 200- 250 SHOTS FROM THE TWO CO2 CARTS. GET A LOT OF HEADS TURNING AT THE PISTOL RANGE.

    Things I would have changed:

I DIDNT KNOW IT WOULD TELL ME TO PUT OIL ON THE TIP OF THE CO2. IT SHOULDVE COME WITH A LITTLE TUBE OF OIL. ALSO, A BB SOME HOW GOT IN A REGION OF NO-RETURN IN THE GUN AND JUST RATTLES AROUND AND WONT COME OUT. VERY ANNOYING

    What others should know:

AMAZINGLY, THE DIRECTIONS DONT TELL YOU ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT COCKING THE 1ST ROUND. I QUICKLY FIGURED IT OUT BUT SOME MIGHT THINK THE GUN IS FAULTY. ONCE YOU COCK IT, BLAST AWAY!

    love the 6 shoot burst!!

    Things I would have changed:

its all plastic!! put some metal on it make it feel real. i would like to see a full auto instead of 6 shot burst. make it so it can hold 75 or a 100 BB's in the magazine and/or make a clip or belt feed magazine that takes pellets. would also change the way you have to load the magazine. make the chamber open an fully accessible for single pellet fire. needs more power. would be willing to pay more those features

    What others should know:

the 6 shoot burst is the only thing i like about the air gun. for $80 bucks, i could find better ways the spend it. if they make the changes i mentioned above then it would be totally worth it.

    Things I liked:

Decent accuracy in burst mode at 25 feet. Weight and sound are great.

    Things I would have changed:

Good power, but would like to see just a little bit more.

    What others should know:

Large gun, needs two hands. I added a hand grip to the bottom picatinny rail. The extra holding grip made it easier to hold. A blast to shoot in burst mode. Emptied the resivoir of BB's with the two co2 tanks.

Excellent choice for single shot and six shot bursts. Really like the firepower and accuracy. Glad to see two CO2 tanks instead of a single. More shots between tanks.

    Things I would have changed:

wish a 88gram tank would somehow fit the steel storm

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

Impressive hitting power. In an informal shoot-off against my brother's IZH Drozd at 10 yards, Steel Storm had comparable accuracy and power. Reservoir & magazine combo much more convenient than Drozd's. Steel Storm's externally operated magazine makes it easier to keep from shooting empty shots. Seems to maintain good power down to last dozen shots. The unintended burst fire as the CO2 gets low is a good indicator of when to reload CO2 whereas the Drozd just keeps dribbling weak shots out the barrel if you're not paying close attention. The safety mechanism allows a trigger pull to un-cock the gun without discharging CO2 or BB.

    Things I would have changed:

I did change a couple of things. Marked the front sight center blade to make it more visible. Also, did what the package showed for the Fire Selector, highlighted in orange to make the burst characters stand out. It would be nice to have a better CO2 cartridge piercing wrench (i.e., metal), already broke an ear off one of the two plastic ones supplied.

    What others should know:

The Steel Storm is noticeably louder than the Drozd, due to its blow-back operation making it sound a lot like a power nail gun. Mine has a reservoir leak that let a BB get somewhere it doesn't belong but so far hasn't impacted the operation of the gun. As noted in other reviews, it is much easier/faster to load the magazine up from the reservoir if it is not packed full of BB's. Although some reviews support claim of 300 shots per CO2 cartridge pair, I have got about 200 shots for first 4 sets of cartridges.

awsome action, excellent in barrel storage.

    What others should know:

the size is crazy. this gun is huge, about the size of 3 to 4 guns. it is a two hander for shure. the action is very good and accuracye as would be expected. it blows through the bb's super fast 1 to 2 seconds. it also blows through the air cartidges, two at a time. it is two fast and two large to really be fun.....

    Things I liked:

Her is an update on this little monster. Since my last review I've shot several 1000 rounds through my Steel Storm. I continue to be amazed. The feel and function of this must be felt to be believed. Also, if one sits comfortably with this thing on semi-auto it will really shoot a small group at up to 20 yards (thats yards, not feet), That is as about as far as I've really checked it for accuracy, I can't leave that selector switch alone! HA HA This thing is really fun.

    Things I would have changed:

As I wrote before I really wish Umarex would hire me as an airgun design consultant (I would work cheap, HA HA HA) They really need to build a carbine version of this. 4 to 6 inches longer barrel and magazine capacity, folding stock and a folding stock. Most importaint, increase the pressure on the gas valve striker!!! This would make a very serious air gun.

    What others should know:

I forgot this in my last review. Pyramyd is #1 for a reason. Their products, their service and their prices. I envision doing a great deal of business with them in the future.

    Things I liked:

Well, I will try this again... I'll say this, they named it right! This thing is a blast. I put a leapers 30mm Red Dot on it and can bust beer cans at 15 yards all day long. I can't believe how good this thing functions. The 6 round burst mode is sooo wild! Sure, it takes a little gas and a few bb's, but it is cheaper than 9mm ammo. HA HA On simi-auto real accuracy is possible.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really, but... I wish they would make a carbine version with a few more inchs of barrel and a little bit harder strike on the gas valve. Boy oh boy would Umarex have a seller there!

    What others should know:

Be sure to screw the CO2 cartridges in all the way, and shoot safely, this thing really sprays bb's!

    Things I liked:

This gun is beyond awesome. As a fan of airsofting I had assumed that I would enjoy this but it wouldn't be much different from my AEG's I was wrong. This gun is a blast to shoot, on six rnd burst the rate of fire seems faster than my ICS m4 modified. The sound of this gun on burst is nothing short of addictive, it is fairly loud for a co2 gun to start with add to that auto fire and your smile just gets bigger. Turns cans to shredded hunks effortlessly. Even though I have gotten used to firing full auto replica guns through airsofting this bb guns still was new and exciting for me. Another thing I was suprised about was accuracy. For a smoothbore BB gun, this thing is VERY accurate, even with 6 rounds burst kicked in. I can easily put all 6 bb's of a burst in the same can at 20-25 feet on a fresh co2 clip. This is better than most semi auto bb pistols I have and as good my rifled barrel pellet rifles when I fire bb's through them. Once I get the bulk air conversion from JimC Innovations somehow, this thing will be impossible to put down. Buy it now! In fact buy two! I'm considering a second one myself!

    Things I would have changed:

A longer barrel out front with a shroud (in process of making one myself), alos a folding/retractable stock would be nice (also in the process of making myself) Aside from that...nothing really.

    What others should know:

Buy co2 in bulk...trust me. On a per round basis, this actually does good on gas, however on auto with 6 rounds per second, even the most conservative of co2 guns will devour the gas. A red dot is practically a must. I am glad I bought mine the same time I got the gun, really helps dial it in.

    Things I liked:

A really fun BB gun that handles the American "steel" BB properly by using a "smooth bore" barrel with a very positive spring loaded magazine. The trigger puts most other BB gun's triggers to shame. A straight forward and well thought out CO2 loading system. This was a nicely thought out product.

    Things I would have changed:

Instead of second guessing a well designed BB gun, I would like to see two additional versions. One a carbine length gun and one a shorter more pistol like version.

    What others should know:

There is just now a bulk adapter available for this gun. I believe Pyramyd already sells this fellow's bulk adapter for the DROZD. So Pyramyd may offer it in the near future. Now, soapbox time.. A "smooth bore" barrel for steel BBs is preferred. A "rifled" barrel for "LEAD" BBs is preferred. Lead is soft enough for the rifling to engage and put the needed spin on the BB. Steel BBs are too hard for rifling to groove it. Steel BBs were never meant to use in a rifled barrel. So why do we see "rifle" BB barrels? well because the barrels were most likely made in Europe or for the European market as lead BBs are what is used there, Europeans use lead for accuracy as you can use rifling, give better penetration due to their weight ( heavier than many pellets of the same caliber) as well as safer because they rarely "bounce back" like steel BBs do if hitting a hard target . Much of the problems that were associated with the DROZD were through the use of steel BBs. The DROZD and the Blackbird were designed for lead BBs. It is stated in the manufacturer's manual for these guns that lead BBs are to be used.

    Things I liked:

This pistol is a blast!! My friends are amazed with it and the low cost. You know up front that it's a smooth bore; why be concerned with accuracy? Just spray the area! The sound alone on the six shot burst is reason enough to own one.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I'm not sure about the charging handle; sometimes I forget to "cock" it and waste C02 because it fires anyway.

    Things I liked:

Brianag618; I believe this is a 2nd review on this Umarex Steel Storm. This is a fairky well made gun, with a 300 round storage capacity, and a 30 round slider. If nothing else it's fun to shoot in the 6 shot burst mode, esp when no one around you is expecting a Several Burst's in Auto Mode.

    Things I would have changed:

I would with out a single question asked, would be to replace both the front and rear sights. They are way to big for the gun and in single shot mode all but use less. I fact (I Voided the Warenty by cutting off both the front and rear sights) and then I installed a set of sights form my spair parts box, using both the Front and Rear Sights off an Air Soft TACTIXAL FORCE TF-7. It took a little bit of detail work with my Drumal Tool to get the old Rear Sight Mount to Match the rest of the Weaver Top Rail, and the same was true for the front sight. Once I was able to get both snds to match the existing Weaver Rail, I mounted the AIR Soft frotn and rear sights. This did 2 thing for me, it gave me both front and rear ADJUSTABLE Sights, which the Steel Storm Did not have, and in Single Shot Mode (ONLY) I was able to start getting groupings that I could not get befor, which is some thing Umarex USA may want to think about doing. The Air Soft Sights I used on the rear sight has both left and right windage as well as a pop up PEP Sight. The front sight can have minor Adjustments made to the Blade with an allen wrench, as well as Popping up and giving you total adjustments with a built in sight that screws in and out for elavation. As I stated in single mode you should now be able to use the gun as a tartget shooter with adjustable sights added to it. In 6 shot Burst Mode, sights are not ment to be used, this mode is a point and shoot mode only, and she tends to pull to the right.

    What others should know:

I just purchesed a 2nd Co2 Magazine for use in Burst Mode. I found that after firing in Burst Mode more then a few times one right after the other, the Co2 Magazine does and Will Freeze up on you, and now you have to take it out of the gun and wait for it to warm back up to start shooting again. UmarexUSA as of right now (Pyramyd Air is trying to get some into stock per my E-Mails back and forth with Paul) is the only one that has Back Up CO2 Magazines in stock for more then a fair price with shipping. Now I can shoot in Burst Mode till see Frezzes up, Pop out the Magizine, sit it on a bench or in my BDU Pocket to warm back up, Pop in the 2nd unin and keep on shooting. I would strongly suggest that you slow down firing in Burst Mode till you get the timing down for how long it will take for the 1st Mag to warm back up, so far I have found it does not take that long at all. Other then the factory sights being Non- Adjustable and the Frezze up of the CO2 Magazine, this is not a bad little gun to play with. I would caution that you use some type of SOFT BACK STOP. Not Woot or Metal. the BB's I have fired using this type of materal have bounced all the way back to where I am shooting , and nothing worse then shooting your self on the rebound's. I would suggest trying to get your hands on a couple of Heavy Moving Blankets that are used by Pro Movers, or make sure if you are using a hard back stop that you @ least place it between 30 an 45 degrees so they hit the ground.
