    Things I liked:

All metal upper and lower receiver, SOLID build and construction. lots of rails to hang whatever you want off of. great power, and accuracy. tastefully branded (no paragraph of warnings in white sticking out). awesome weight, you can tell it will hold up to abuse well. functional charging handle, (i HATE molded non functional parts),and AR type safety (very satisfying "click" when engaged)Good on Co2 and still providing great power)

    Things I would have changed:

A functional dust cover and visible blowback bolt(with functional bolt catch) would have put this rifle over the top for me, i would have gladly paid another 50-100$ for such a feature. the mag release is correct but only has one moving part. the button spans the whole magwell, connecting it to the left side would have been easy. then it could function exactly like an AR (again i hate molded non functional parts). A metal rail system would be cool too, but the abs plastic on the gun seems very sturdy and durable. A metal buffer tube would be nice too. A magazine like the Cx-4 storm (30 round belt fed)would be awesome and doesnt seem the rifle would need to be redesigned at all, just the mag (attn aftermarket mag makers, we need this to be made!!!) that all being said, its only cosmetic stuff. this is a great rifle!

    What others should know:

I have fully customized mine with MAGPUL CTS/MOE AR parts. The grip IS NOT standard size (its about 1/4 inch deeper, and 1/8 inch wider) but 2 hours patiently grinding with a dremel tool, and i got her to fit perfectly. All other parts (cts stock, Afg, Troy folding sights) fit no problem.this rifle is a tack driver! VERY accurate! ive waited a long time for an AR training rifle that has the same weight, and fires a powerful enough projectile thru a rifled barrel... this rifle fits the bill perfectly! you will not be disappointed!!!!

    Things I liked:

Great concept. Fit and finish are extremely good.

    Things I would have changed:

Metal magazine for pellets. I am having jam and feed issues and this is my second one. First one did the same.

    What others should know:

While this is a noble effort, I had to return my first one for some of the same issues as I am having with my new one (fail to feed, pellets jamming and fail to fire). I may be forced to just use bb's for ammo and I bought this rifle because it is a pellet rifle! I am a little disappointed in mine, while I still commend Winchester for the effort. I will keep working with it. We'll see how it performs over the next couple of weeks.

    Things I liked:

The weight and feel of this rifle are very nice. It doesn't feel like a cheap toy. It is very well made, and nicely finished. A quality piece made in Japan. Much, better quality feel to it than the Umarex Steel Force. Lots of metal. I was going to buy the m14 when it came out but was put off with the cheap plastic looking stock. This is much better alternative IMO. Gave it a quick shakedown, and it promises to be a nice shooter. Waiting on warmer weather to try different pellets to see what works best though.

    Things I would have changed:

There isn't much to complain about, if you can even call it that. It would have been nice if they included a second magazine. The spring loaded pop up sights are kind of cheap looking, but they work fine. They are easy to remove, which I did in favor of a small scope.

    What others should know:

Lets face it, this gun is screaming for a bunch of tacticool stuff to be stuck to it. There are plenty of rails to mount lights, lasers, scopes, bi-pods, etc. Standard AR recoil pad fits the collapsible stock perfectly. The grip appears to be replaceable as well, but I haven't tried yet. Got one on the way and will update when I check it out. If you want an AR style CO2 pellet shooter, the MP4 hits the mark! You won't regret it. I'm thinking of getting a second one to put away. This is destined to be a classic.

    Things I liked:

Nice length for a military style air rifle. Very accurate at 100 ft. Grouped 8 inside 1/2 inch. Magazine is interesting, looks like a Pistol revolving mag. Plenty of tactical rail for attachments. Trigger pull is easy.

    Things I would have changed:

Dual CO2 is nice, but the key system is ridiculous. Someone at Winchester/Umarex needs to devise a better system. The Winchester M14 (which has the same chassis as the MP4) has a slot for the key inside the magazine.

    What others should know:

Don't lose the key! Flip down sights need work.

    Things I liked:

Ample railings for customizing. Solid feel and good detail. This design provided a great platform to build your own specialized weapon's system.

    Things I would have changed:

I would add a spare magazine compartment in the shoulder stock.

    What others should know:

Due to the long top rail, there may be a need for 3/4 inch riser to mount some scopes.

    Things I liked:

    Great concept for a rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

At this time the MP 4 is only a BB rifle, Winchester needs to design a separate magazine for the pellets. ALL TYPES OF PELLETS ARE JAMMING.

    What others should know:

Small problem, but needs to be addressed before this rifle loses all its popularity.

Nice mix of metal and plastic ,good detail and weight.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger on mine was about 8 lbs.

    What others should know:

I must have got a bad one mine would not hold accuracy even with a 4x40 scope and bipod at 35 ft.Some shoots would drift off 2 to 3 in.my 1960 crosman 400 repeater will hold a dine size.also my magazine would also sometimes jam and get stuck ,got no manual with rifle .I returned mine.

    Things I liked:

This is my second MP4 purchase from PA. This one is just as fantastic as the first. I shot 7.0 grain RWS Basics and achieved a muzzle velocity of 510 fps. Accuracy is unbelievable. These MP4's are going to be real hit.

    Things I would have changed:

If anyone is finding an accuracy fall off, check the barrel. The inner rifled barrel is threaded into the receiver. Simply remove the quad rail by removing the 6 screws holding the 2 piece rail together. The inner rifled barrel is now exposed and can easily be checked to see if it needs to be tightened to the receiver. BOTH my MP4's came with loose barrels. If it is rattling or moving around in the outer false barrel then it is loose and needs tightening. These should probably be checked and a drop of "Gun Tight" added to the threads before shipping. It would also be really nice if Daisy included a Smooth-bore barrel for bb's seeing how easy changing them is.

    What others should know:

This is going to be a big item for PA and other retailers. Get one while their popularity is growing and still available. Pick up a few extra magazines as well. Happy shooting!!

    Things I liked:

Immediately on first sight, laying in the box I was impressed with its realism. It looked more like my Colt AR-15 than my Smith & Wesson 1522 does. Heavy metal lower and barrel looked as good as a real AR-15. All inscriptions on the lower are well done.No ugly mold lines. Trigger, bolt, safety and magazine release button are true to there big brothers. Grip handle screws on like the originals, so one can put on what they are used to. NO PLASTICS!! Composite Quad Rails, stock and stock tube. Feels and looks real in my hands.(Made in Japan not China!)

    Things I would have changed:

I think Winchester (Daisy) heard the complaints with their M14 (being fun but to much plastic) and pulled out the stops on this MP4. I would lighten the trigger.

    What others should know:

I used RWS Geco (Basic) 7.0 grain lead pellets and just kept making the first hole larger and larger. With 2 new 12 gram CO2 cartridges, I got a muzzle velocity of 478 fps. After 24 shots the velocity was at 451. After 104 shots the velocity was still at 307 and the gun pooped out on the 136 shot. That is terrific with just 2-12 gram cartridges. The trigger is unbelievably stiff. I shot some White Lithium Grease in the trigger area and it helped. I love this gun! I will get another to equip differently. Get a few extra magazines with it. I will not shoot bb's in mine as it has to be hard on the beautifully rifled steel barrel. Great Job DAISY!!

    Things I liked:

Accuracy! This gun is extremely accurate for it's price range. It shoots much tighter groups than my Umarex Steel Force at roughly the same price range. Most likely due to the longer "rifled" barrel. I shot with both bb's and pellets. I'm sure the bb's will eventually damage the rifling in the barrel So I imagine I'll stay with pellets and use it for longer range plinking. It got just short of 100 rounds before a noticeable drop off in power and having to manually pull back on the charging handle. It was a cold day though and I tried to allow the gun time to recover between shots. It has a nice weight and good balance when holding. The stock sights are adequate but plastic and non adjustable. They can however be removed and better sights adapted easily. I think I'll add some accessories (plenty of rail space) like a folding fore grip, bi-pod, carry handle and scope it. The gun is nice mixture of plastic and metal. The receiver is all metal as is the barrel with very sturdy plastic rear adjustable stock and weaver system forward of the receiver. It is made by Daisy in Japan for Winchester. I'm sure the inner workings are similar to the Winchester M14 just in a less plasticky exterior. I do not have a chrony so was unable to give fps (It seems high though). I would recommend this rifle at it's price range.

    Things I would have changed:

I would change the magazine. This is my least favorite part of the rifle. I'm not high on rotary magazines and think a stick mag would have been a better choice. I'm sure the reasoning behind it is due to the option in ammo it will shoot. Why can't someone develop a stick type mag for pellets. Maybe there is one I just don't know about. Anyhow, I would have been happy with just a bb shooter with say a 20 round magazine and smooth bore. Just a thought. Anyhow, for those wishing to shoot just bb's the rotary mag does have a magnet in each end to assist with loading. Maybe add a functioning ejection port with blowback function of the bolt... of course it would drive up price but hey... I'd still buy it! :)

    What others should know:

When shooting this rifle make sure to fully release the trigger after firing as it is what advances the magazine to the next projectile. It is semi-auto in that it recharges the gun between shots but does not auto load the next round until the trigger is pulled back to the break point for firing. You can feel 2 distinct and predictable clicks as it rotates the mag and then breaks for firing. Note: The forward assist, ejection port and extractor and all molded into the metal receiver. Hope this helps someone make an informed purchase. I love it for my collection.

    Things I liked:

Weight, feel, trigger. Very realistic, and compatible with real AR-15 accessories. Very fun and cheap to shoot compared to live rounds. The weight is perfectly balnced, and it's really accurate. Using a 4x42 scope is almost cheating.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be great if pyramydair offered pre packaged deals like they did with the Beretta px4. If this came with a scope and maybe even a laser, flashlight, and foregrip combo, it would be perfect.

    What others should know:

Hollowpoints and wadcutters work best with this gun. Mine in particular loves the Beeman coated hollowpoints the best.

    Things I liked:

A lot of firsts for me here. First CO2 rifle, first rifle NOT a single shot, first group I could cover with my thumb. Nice to get an extra key for cylinder installation in case you happen to lose the one that there is a great place to store it, and not have anything sticking out of the bottom like all the pistols I have. I had a little trouble getting cylinders in, just part of the learning process. The magazine wasn't seated all the way, make sure both locks are engaged. There is a lot of travel in the trigger, and required a bit more effort than I expected to fire the weapon. Wasn't too hard to get used to, and cranked off 3 rounds. I adjusted aim and fired the remaining 5 rounds, flipped the ammo clip around and shot the other 8. The whole 13 rounds could be covered by my thumb.

    Things I would have changed:

There is no way to adjust the rear sight I could find. Both front and rear sights are mounted the same way. Since I'm planning on mounting a scope on it this will be a moot point, and it's nice that they both fold down so hopefully there will be no problem leaving them on.

    What others should know:

Despite having a "Flip-up, adjustable rear sight", there must be a secret way to adjust it I couldn't find. All in all, I'm very happy with the accuracy and it's a lot of fun to shoot.
