Things I liked:

If you happen to own a Gamo Swarm Maxxim, then these 14.66 grain H&N Excite Hammer pellets are far and away THE most uncannily accurate pellets for your gun. I tried several other brands, most of which were way more pricey than these are, but not one of those other brands of pellet came remotely close to the hole-in-one precision that is possible with these German made masterpieces of air-gun projectile technology. At 35 yards, I was able to pinpoint the exact location of impact within the bullseye, as viewed through my Bug Buster 3x9 telescopic sight, time and time again, with no errant fliers whatsoever. My accolades do not end there. These pellets are a perfect fit for the Gamo Swarm magazine, such that they seated into the breech with a decisive click each time I reloaded by breaking the barrel, whereby there was not one single blank shot or mis-load after several hundred flawless shots, and magazine reloads. I could ramble on some more, but you get the picture ha ha.

Things I would have changed:

True perfection simply cannot be improved upon. For the Gamo Swarm Maxxim, there simply is no other pellet that can surpass the magazine fit, and the surgical precision of these supremely accurate and consistently manufactured pellets. If you own a Gamo Swarm, and your experience with these pellets is different from mine in any aspect of their use, I will eat a bug, live on Youtube, so help me God.

What others should know:

Zero in on these pellets from your Gamo Swarm Maxxim repeater air rifle, and you will very be glad that you did. The Oracle has spoken.

Things I liked:

If I could give this pellet a zero I would. Could not get it to group in my Crosman break barrek, Gammo Stealth and it would not shoot even out of my Avenger and there has only been one other pellet that shot so poorly. I bought 1,000 of these and might as well melt them down and cast fishing sinkers with them

Things I would have changed:

Everything, They simply will not group in the 3 guns I tried them in.

What others should know:

Unless you are dead sure these pellets will shoot accurately in your gun don't buy in a large quantity

    Things I liked:

I have tried several pellets with my .22 gamo raptor whisper and this is the most accurate and have the hit power to get rid of pesty invasive iguanas, most shots in the range fo 50-100 feet. Pellet quality is excellent.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a big deal but I will like a screw cap instead of the push on, not a deal breaker.

    What others should know:

Quality is top, well above many others in the same price range.

Get them free if you order 4 tins from pyramid, or next best price is Amazon, at $11.

This is a great pellet for my Gamo Swarm Whisper air rifle and shoots quarter groups at 20 yards. I originally had Crosman Premier pellets, but they did not shoot very well. Definately pleased with this pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

They do cost about twice as much as the Crosman Premier

    Things I liked:

Great quality, accuracy and price, and with the Pyramyd Air packaging ensuring they arrive in great shape, these absolutely are one of my favorite go-to pellets for .22 caliber shooting. Whenever I'm in the market for a new airgun or airgun gear, I try to add enough pellet tins to my order to qualify not only for the super-sweet 'order four, pay for three' deal, but free shipping as well! My Benjamin 392s, Umarex 850M2, Crosman 362 and Crosman 2289 Drifter air rifles get excellent accuracy with these, and they're great in all my other .22s as well, including pistols and often-very-picky, multi-pellet magazines, unlike many other pellets. It is a shame they're not available in tins of 500, but the price is absolutely competitive on a per-pellet basis and I prefer the quality and little bit of extra weight. I'll buy Crosman PHP and Domed pellets if I have to (when these aren't available), but I prefer the Excite Hammer pellets to them by a long shot.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer them in tins of 500! There's not one thing wrong with these, though -- they work great in every one of the nine or ten .22 airguns I own, making them one of THE pellets I like to keep on-hand for all-around, general purpose use.

    What others should know:

Naturally, for longer-range target shooting and most hunting, I like to go with something heavier, but these just about can't be beat for general purpose use. Besides, the weight is fine for squirrels and similarly-sized critters. As I mentioned, any time I get something here that costs around fifty bucks and more, I try to add enough pellet tins (in groups of four) to the order to make sure I qualify for free shipping too. After all, why not buy now while the price is low? It's a dead-certainty it will go up eventually and my wife and I REALLY enjoy saving money when we can. Even even if I end up having to order many thousands, it's not like they won't get used. Besides, you know what they say about a penny saved and all that happy horse hockey... :-) Nice pellets.

They performed equal to the best reviews already posted. In the following guns. Beeman Mach 12.5,Hatsan 125 ,Benjamin Prowler, Beeman rs 2,Hatsan Edge spring.

    Things I would have changed:

The pellets do everything I expect of some match ammo if I shot in the same guns...mainly due to shooting skill limits of myself. One of these days a pellet will make me pan it.

    What others should know:

Don't buy 1000...one can will tell you . I almost gave up the first 5 shots just so-so... .Stockscrews had loosened in those shots! No problem from then on. One gun permanent ammo(Edge). Maybe now 1000.

    Things I liked:

Inexpensive (about 1 and 1/3rd penny each)- High Quality (no throw-aways) - Accurate & hard hitting (the barely heavier Hammer pellet rivals or improves on the performance of Crosman Premier and similarly weighted pellets from other manufacturers at prices ranging from the same to half the cost (and better)) - Superlative Pyramyd Air packaging (without which, I suspect these pellets would suffer as much as any other during shipment, resulting in damaged, unusable pellets straight from the tin. I bought a thousand and with more than half already gone, I haven't had one pellet I couldn't use!) - My new favorite, goto pellet, with excellent performance in all seven of my .22 airguns (Benjamin 392s, Sheridan 2260MB, Umarex 850M2, Crosman Drifter, Crosman 1322 w/stock, Crosman 2240 w/stock, and Umarex Strike Point).

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing! Increased weight typically means increased price, but a heavier, similarly inexpensive version would be very welcome.

    What others should know:

I am certainly not trying to gain favor with the site, but MAJOR props to Pyramyd Air for the development and implementation of their conscientious pellet packaging and shipping practices. Without this, almost every home delivery of airgun pellets could (and probably would) include many unusable pellets because of damages incurred during shipment. More props for their 'buy three, get one free' pellet tin deal! So far as I can tell, there's no better place on the planet from which to buy pellets! :-)

    Things I liked:

Typical of H&N products, these are clean, uniform and precise. In my fancy 340 N-Tech Luxus, a gas spring RWS/Diana rifle, these are just outstanding. I have a fair spread of pellets in the ammo box, but they are just superb for the 340's gas ram power. Indeed, when one seeks a pellet for a new air gun, try these since they will probably work and if they don't you won't be out a lot of coin.

    Things I would have changed:

For goodness sake, H&N, DON'T change them! They work just fine as you produce them. If there is anything to change, it's not the pellet but the can it comes in. I realize that this is an economy round, but the option of a larger can (even at a correspondingly higher cost) with a screw on lid would be just great! If the size tin was larger, a few more cents for a screw lid would be money I'd spend.

    What others should know:

Buy one tin to try these. I suspect that they will work for most air rifles. If not, one won't be out much and they may work on some other future purchase.

    Things I liked:

These are my favorite pellet. I have countless tins of pellets spread all over the house but when I just want to do some simple shooting these are my go-to pellet. Somehow this pellet stirs emotion in me. On a springer the dome helps guide the pellet into the bore. Also this dome helps close the bolt on guns with a bolt, especially a 2260 (mine especially) as there is a bolt and pocket the pellet scrapes by and a wadcutter will turn sideways and require finger manipulation. But not this pellet. Other bolt action guns can tend to have issues with the pellet scaping/catching on the side of the bore as it goes in. But not this pellet. Of course ANY domed pellet will work like these, but with these you get some of the "smack" like you get from a wadcutter on small pests that is hard to quantify without observation in the field. Full domes tend to pierce. I love the Excite brand because you get beautiful German quality at a price you wonder how they are able to do it. A favorite!

    Things I would have changed:

Absolutely nothing. Super German quality and cleanliness at a cheap price... what is there to complain about?

    What others should know:

This is the best plinking pellet in the world. They help you load your pellets because the slight dome acts as a guide. It does everything WELL. Maybe not the best in every category but if you compare ease of loading into a springer barrel, and the ease to close a bolt on a pellet without it turning sideways/scraping, and transferring energy to small pests instead of piercing, and a better BC than wadcutters... just keep thinking and you'll agree it does everything right. Just about every other design has a handicap of some sort. This pellet has no distinct problem. Also you get German quality for an unbelievable low price. My go-to pellet when you just want to shoot for some reason and you'll know the pellet will work with you. I've actually developed a warm fuzzy feeling for this particular pellet. I buy them just for fun!
