JSB KnockOut Slugs, .251 Reviews

These work really well with my Air Force TalonP out to 50 yards. I have tried a number of different slugs from manufacturers and the Knock Out slugs are the only ones that are consistent out of the box.

They could be a little cheaper and the quantity in the tin can be increased.

I use a flat piece of aluminum when pressing these into the rifling. It seems to help with consistent accuracy.

great product, feeds with no problems in my FX Impact MKII and is very accurate. Can't beat the buy 3 get one free deal! Fast shipping and really enjoying these slugs. Been using the 33.4 gr and set up for them, will try some heavier 44gr soon for comparison.

Larger count containers would be nice

Well to say , this is not a NSA product not one bit and the reason I say this is with NSA you have to wash the slugs at least 3 times to get all of the led flakes off the slugs . If you don't your groups will be off and on top of that you have to clean your rifle more often . But Noooo not with the JSB Knock Outs once you open the ten they are clean !!!!! Now, NSA might be a bit cheaper and you get more slugs like 215 count for $16.99 but you have to wash them 3 times !!!

Now if JSB would do a 500 count for like $ 47.99 or 1000 count for $ 85.99 and keep given out the quality that they do in the 150 count I would buy that in a heart beat , because I would not have to wash them !!!!!!!

JSB needs to make some higher counts than 150 it would be nice if they would make 300 up to 1000 count of the Knock Outs in all Calibers .

For slugs, they are accurate in my TalonP .25. I haven't sorted them yet but haven't had any ridiculous flyers.

Size to .25 rather than .251.

These pellets are marked .251, and I guess they mean it. I have a .25 caliber airgun, and these are too big to be inserted. I have no idea if they work well, but beware if you buy them that your barrel must be large enough to hold them. Mine isn't. It's too much trouble to send them back, so I guess I'll just throw them out.

These are a little pricey! They do shoot very well in my condor ss @ 940fps so I laid in a supply for hunting. The first mil has these hitting dead on @ 90 yard's! that's how flat they shoot. Slugs are a different monster! clean your barrel much more often than you normally would shooting pellets. If not, you will be wondering what happened to your accuracy. The bigger the slug the worse leading seems to be.

Great product! My rating is solely based on price & has nothing to do with the quality.

Shoots well in my .25 caliber Crown MK II. One ragged hole for 5 shots at 30 yds.

Cost is a little high compared to NSA's which pretty much shoot the same.

Accurate out of my Avenger with reg at 2900, that being said so is everything else. Priced better then the FX hybrid slugs. Both hit hard the FXs expand more on small game where these zip through more like a dome. I imagine these would be excellent on large Raccoon's coyotes and small hogs. I am sure they will work just fine for Groundhogs.

I would sacrifice a bit of weight for more of a hollow point.

Good value, clean, consistent and good shape. Loads easily in the Avenger.

Been looking for a slug that would shoot great out of my old FX Streamline with the smooth twist bore. Well I found it. These slug shoot great groups. The squirrels better watch out!!

Need to offer a larger tin, more quantity.

JSB quality, second to none!

hits very hard and consistantly accurate.

They fly very straight with very little drop and they hit extremely hard. They shoot as accurately as other JSB pellets from my .25 cal A-V Avenger, which is to say...."accurate as a laser"!

These should be cheaper than pellets since alugs are easier and cheaper to make. So either more slugs per tin or a lower price would be better.

Not all guns are suitable for slugs. You need a barrel that is slug friendly and ideally is powerful enough to be capable of pushing heavy slugs at 900fps or more.

My avenger loves these slugs.At 44 yards my 5 shot groups can be covered with a dime. To my surprise my bullboss groups can be covered with a quarter at the same distance. I have tried a lot of different slugs so far these have worked the best. i have a couple more guns to try them in.

the price, 10 cents per shot is a lot too me.

My avenger is shooting these slugs at 785 average and my bullboss is around 775 average.I haven't recovered a slug yet from a squirrel out to 50 yards or so.
