The Air Venturi Avenge-X Tactical PCP Air Rifle offers shooters a high-performance modular platform at a surprisingly-moderate price for the features and adjustability provided. It can be tuned for different setups, and the modular system allows for the air rifle to fill a variety of roles with the available separate kits and accessories.
Shooters can have one airgun that does it all with the purchase of additional caliber change kits and stocks that offer either an air tube option or a carbon fiber bottle option. The caliber change kits are compatible with all models, and the stocks work with the air reservoir models of the same type, offering several variations. Shooters can also change between air reservoir types depending on their needs.
The air rifle comes with many flexible features, including an externally-adjustable two-position transfer port and a two-stage adjustable trigger. It also includes many adjustments shooters have come to expect, such as the externally-adjustable stainless steel regulator and the adjustable hammer spring.
The Air Venturi Avenge-X Tactical utilizes a lightweight synthetic stock that features an AR-style grip and buttstock that has a length of pull that the shooter can set between 40.5" and 43.75". It also uses a male quick-disconnect fill fitting at the end of the bottle or tube for simple filling, which is protected by a threaded dust cap that guards against dirt and debris.
The Weaver/Picatinny optics rail accommodates scopes and other optics, and the Picatinny accessory rail allows shooters to add items such as lights, bipods, and lasers. The Avenge-X offers a high shot count, and it includes a high-capacity magazine, a standard magazine, a single-shot tray, and a smooth reversible sidelever to enable ambidextrous operation.
To get a modern air rifle with a modular system that meets multiple needs for expanded shooting possibilities, buy an Air Venturi Avenge-X Tactical PCP Air Rifle at Pyramyd AIR today.

I like the tank shot count, the aluminum block, and the trigger seems better than the old Avenger when tightening the hammer spring.
Things I would have changed:My regulator adjustment will only go down to 2000psi and I would like it to go down more like the old Avenger. I think the connection of the bottle works well and does not leak as bad as FX does when taking off the bottle, but I would like a standard bottle regulator to fit, and it doesn't. This would be to dule regulate the system or change the bottle with bigger or smaller size. I would add a folding stock adapter and a port hole to access the hammer spring without having to dismantle the weapon to adjust hammer. I have been unable to remove the buffer tube for some reason. I also would have changed the access point for the plenum and made it were you could add an extended plenum without cutting the stock.
What others should know:I have noticed that the AvengeX didn't fix the first shot flyer as the original Avenger has. I am not sure this rifle is worth the extra dime.

The best PCP air rifle for the money! I purchased the .22 tactical tube model. Very accurate. Shoots 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards. Easily takes ground squirrels out to 70 yards. I get about 55 shots using JSB 18.13 pellets st 916 FPS with a std. dev. of 2 fps! Used my Labradar for measurement Ergonomics are the weak point due to a cheap stock. I changed the stock to a Magpul PRS Lite which has LOP and comb height adjustment. The noise level is medium, I added a Donny FL Tanto, it is now very quite. Magazines look cheap however, I have approximately 4700 rounds on the gun. No magazine or rifle failures at all. Fit and finish are excellent. Keys to maimizng the potential of the PCP rifle: Take time to setup the rifle ergnomics. Take time to set regulator and hammer spring to the pellets you shoot. Know your ballistics VERY IMPORTANT! Qualty scope and rings. Cheap is cheap, You have to have good optics and rings which may cost as much as the gun if not more
Things I would have changed:Stock is poor, but what do you expect for $529 bucks.
What others should know:Buy it you won't be disappointed and the money you save can be used to cover the cost of the accessories.
