Birchwood Casey Shoot-N-C White/Black Bullseye X Targets & Pasters, 8", 6ct

This is one of my favorite target types mainly because, as other reviewers mentioned, black sights stand out very well against it. Shots also show up great, as pure black against the light grey of the target. The pasters definitely increase the use you can get from each target. The peel & stick feature is super-convenient compared to tape or staples, and the adhesive is strong. I get more of these with almost every PA order.

Maybe brightly a colored bullseye (and bullseye pasters) rather than the "X"s. And although I like (and buy) them alot, I'd buy even more if the price came down a bit.

When shot with higher velocity or more powerful airguns (over ~500fps, or over about ~8FPE) the grey coating tends to splatter around the hole in a radius of several inches and a few inches in front of the target. Can get a bit messy.

Great product that solves sight issues when shooting indoors...When you shoot indoors with replica pistols that have black iron sights, it can be difficult to get a sight picture if the targets are also black. Almost all of the other reactive targets out there in the market are black backgrounds so this product was great to find. Works well with my Baretta 84 FS, which is an awesome replica pistol of the Cheetah, a small pistol with small black iron sights. Now I can see the targets and have brought out the awesome accuracy of my gun with these white reactive targets. You can also see exactly what you are hitting with the great splatter effect, without getting up and going down range.

Wish they lasted longer and that they gave you more targets for the money, also wish others would come out with light colored background reactive targets as many of us shoot indoors with our replica pistols during the winter months.

Easy to shoot pistols indoors, hang a couple of old rugs (4'x6' for example) and put target in front of this taped on a cardboard box. I am shooting pistols that achieve 300 to about 500 FPS at 20 feet. The bb's hit targets and go through the box and most never make it through the 1st hanging rug, the bb's also do not bounce all over, but either stick in the rug or harmlessly fall to ground under the rug. Shoot year round in the basement, most of the great replica pistols out there are quiet enough that nobody upstairs even knows you are shooting, many are only as loud as a staple gun from the hardware store.

The targets are OK. The repair stickers help a lot.

I also got these to shoot peep and open sights. I thought they were white, but they are gray. No big deal, but black sights stand out only if these targets are well-lighted. Make them white. I'm going to photocopy a sheet on plain white paper and scotch tape it on my target box to see if that makes a difference. I hope it will. I'll back the paper with some duct tape and see how that goes. I'm also going to try these at the range, 20 yards, well lit, and see how that goes too.

The yellow, green, and red targets are generally a better choice I think. Birchwood Casey makes good stuff
