The Raptor Whisper incorporates Inert Gas Technology (IGT) into the powerplant by using an inert gas cylinder versus a conventional spring. Crazy accurate after doing a few upgrades, relatively quiet with the .22 (subsonic), comfortable to shoulder and absorbs any recoil. Use for plinking and hunting small game/ back yard pests.
Things I would have changed:Stock scope on any break barrel is typically going to be garbage due to how a break barrel double recoils. It's going to kill a scope in no time and thus you're going to think the gun itself is inaccurate. It's unfortunate but the scope needs to specifically be able to handle recoil from a break barrel gun. Stock scopes typically aren't/ this isn't either so the gun itself gets the blame.
What others should know:Upgrades I've done: - GRT-4G Trigger from charliedatuna - Diana ZR mount - CVLIFE 6-24x50 scope I can consistently hit .5 in groups from 25-30 yards all day. I use Predator Polymags and JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy

Things I would have changed:Scope doesn't center as well as I had expected. 2 different people have tried to center the scope and we still are having problems.
What others should know:Not as quiet as I had hoped.

I have a UTG 3-9X32 1" BugBuster Scope, AO, RGB Mil-dot, what would be the best dovetail to weaver mount to use ? I got a UTG Drooper Scope Rail, 11mm Dovetail To Weaver Adapter and its Just not seating right
There is no" best" dovetail to weaver mount. Try UTG New Gen Dovetail-to-Picatinny/Weaver Adapter,... or BKL 3/8" or 11mm Dovetail....

The performance is excellent for the price.
Things I would have changed:The scope is not the best.
What others should know:I bought this in .22 cal to deal with some backyard pests. This was the first air rifle I have owned. With proper ammo and shot placement I was able to eliminate a large groundhog at about 15 yards. This gun is quiet and you can become quite accurate with it in a short amount of time... The power impressed me. I would recommend this for dealing with pests in residential areas..
