Things I liked:

Whats not to like. Quiet, powerful, affordable, accurate. Dead quiet with gamo red fire, I guess they dont break the sound barrier.

Things I would have changed:

For the price nothing, the trigger is sort of a stinker but still doesnt bother my shots.

What others should know:

Rifles are accurate, scopes are accurate. Blame yourself and practice more if yours isnt. Make sure you hold is consistent, and learn how to deal with Parallax. Pick a pellet and stick with it. I bought this for squirrels, in city limits, best money and most useful gun I have.

    Things I liked:

When I first opened the box for the first time, I could tell I would love to keep this rifle. When I fired my first 3 shots to see how it worked, I was surprised on how accurate it was,,with open sights.

    Things I would have changed:

As the rifle is still brand new to me, I have to say it is hard to cock because I have a weak back. Fix that and you will have a super winner.

    What others should know:

Buy it. Most people will love it. Oh,and make sure you have a good back, hard to cock.

    Things I liked:

Fun to Shoot, a better scope could make the gun better , every thing works good. I did the 10 dollar test which I recommend, you should get a gun with no problems .

    Things I would have changed:

    Maybe the scope.

    What others should know:

Price is very good for a gun with this Quality great job Crosman.

    Things I liked:

The piston sounds solid and amazing when firing. Almost everything about this rifle is nice for the $$. I love how cheap the scope is but it literally held true for a day.

    Things I would have changed:

Not bad but the scopes could use some important it least a higher quality 4x32. Iron sights on mines were bent down to the right:( I was actually getting it mainly cause of that lol :(. But I did want a scope in case but eh quality.

    What others should know:

Its nIt very quiet if you get this the action of the gun is louder then the pellets flying through the air with 10.6g pellets it is a little quieter then 8.3g. Im not sure if the action will get quieter since Ive only shot 200-370 hundred rounds to this day. Btw the 8.3g are more accurate I use the RWS superdome .177 8.3g.

    Things I liked:

Super looks and wood stock. Puts 5 on a dime @ 10 meters and lethal fps. Good scope if you know how to properly mount and adjust one, but even the open sights work well with my "vintage" eyes!

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is crisp but heavy. Adjustable pull would render this rifle competitive!

    What others should know:

Cocking weight is for adults. ALL break-barrels should have an end-of-session wipe-down with a silicone cloth to remove corrosive hand oils, and a needle-oiler will help with the many joints and visible seals. Bloomfield did it again!

    Things I liked:

First. Can we all agree that, other than the odd outlier that sending and charging for a scope with these break barrels is a scam for new shooters to fall into? Two bug busters met their demise on this gun. The scopes that come with these guns - in review after review - are throw away items. That being said my Vantage shot way low no matter what I did. Change ammo, different bug buster scope, back to original etc with ridiculous hold over. Now this sounds counter intuitive but on a whim, after reading a review here I bought a.22 18.21 grain and bingo. I think the skirt is tighter and now nothing is wasted pushing them down the barrel. Has anyone else had this problem with low shooting p.o.i.? And again, I'm talking turning the back sight turret up until it's just about to fall off then monkeying around with a ridiculous hold over with the scope. But then we're back to breaking scopes again. Advise ??? And thanks ALL for the reviews and advise throughout the years given here!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Stop sending trash scopes on these guns. I tried different ring heights etc to no avail. Always a hold over that I never ran into with any of my springers before.

    What others should know:

I love this gun (after changing the trigger of course) now but the warnings are those I stated above. Maybe I got an outlier, who knows. But the scope issue is very bothersome if not un-ethical. Is there a scope that is reliable "over time" for springers and/or nitro pistons?

    Things I liked:

Wanted something primarily for open sight target shooting. This .177 cal. fits perfectly. Powerful, quiet and accurate with the right pellet. Trigger gets smoother with use. Overall, great little gun.

    Things I would have changed:

For a Nitro Piston in this price range..... Nothing.

    What others should know:

RWS Superdome, RWS Super Point, Crossman Piranha and Crossman Hollow point all grouped very well. Quiet enough for backyard shooting without alarming the neighbors. Although I won't be using it for hunting I'm sure it has enough power for small game and pests.

    Things I liked:

Almost everything, adjustable rear sights could be a bit more quality.

    Things I would have changed:

Adjustable rear sights more solid, easier cocking.

    What others should know:

Amazing rifle, amazing price, great accuracy and powerful. Wow. Will keep this short, bit for the price and included scope (which is actually a lot better than most people give it credit for) you can't go wrong. Accurate and deadly powerful. Took out an invasive raccoon dog (here in Nordic Europe a pest species and tough as nails). Took it with one shot at dusk with the scope at about 25m freehand, ear shot and dropped dead with barely a twitch. Fantastic, makes short work of crows, pigeons etc also. Really happy with this purchase and I have owned and do own a few guns. Cocking is a bit heavy, but I am sure that will lessen the more lead I put through her. Wanted a gas piston and I got more than I could have dreamed of. Thanks Crosman, great product.

    Things I liked:

The overall fit, finish, and function are remarkable fro this price range. I spent just a pinch over a hundred bucks for a fully functioning break barrel air rifle......with a scope!! Hard to even believe, but that is what I got. I reviewed this product on YouTube before purchasing and most of the serious air gunners said the scope was rather cheap, and I would have to agree. But overall a great purchase for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I wasnt wildy thrilled with was the scope and the scope rings. At this price you cant expect a top of the line scope. I will probably upgrade soon as I think the air rifle can outperform the supplied scope.

    What others should know:

This was my first airgun purchase, so I dont have any comparisons to make. However I think this is an excellent way to get into the world of airgunning without breaking the bank. Go for it.

    Things I liked:

Accurate with the correct hold (mine likes firm in back, loose in front). Hits hard. Nice looking for the price. Includes open sites. NP is smoother than mechanical springers in this range.

    Things I would have changed:

Greater cocking effort than mechanical spring or NP2 guns with similar power. Awkward cocking because of lack of suppressor/shroud.

    What others should know:

Compared to a traditional spring or the NP2 piston this gun is relatively hard to cock, although certainly manageable, and it does get a little easier as it breaks in. It also doesn't have any sort of suppressor, so there isn't anything to really grip, making the cocking that much harder/more awkward. That said, it is accurate and hits hard. Mine did require some testing of holds,as the traditional artillery hold was not optimal. Instead it seemed to like the "reverse mullet"- firm grip in the back, resting on the front hand like an artillery hold. Summary: Plenty powerful and accurate for pest control/small game, but too difficult/awkward to cock for all day fun, especially compared to the various other offerings out there. I would recommend this to a friend that really wanted something inexpensive with a wooden stock to use just for pest control/small game, but if they didn't mind a synthetic stock and/or wanted to shoot more often I would recommend other options.

    Things I liked:

I like that it is cheap and has iron sights but i wish they were metal instead of cheap plastic.

    Things I would have changed:

I have a big head and high cheek bones so on some guns i cant get a sight picture using really low iron sights (like the mini 14). This gun is just barely fits me i wish either the stock was a tad lower or the sights were slightly taller but i can use them it's just slightly uncomfortable.

    What others should know:

It hits hard, using crosman pointed pellets it will sink a pellet half way though a new 2x4. I had some trouble getting a group when it first arrived not sure if it was me or the gun. The more i shot it the more accurate it seemed to get though. The trigger was horrible when i got it, i read about DIY mods and after market triggers. But i ended up just loosening the trigger adjustment screw and it improved it slightly.

nice little air rifle, I've had it for awhile and waited to do a review, it shoots good and works like it's supposed to

    Things I would have changed:

it's a little heavy and I really don't like the trigger but you do get used to it

    What others should know:

I've found it likes RWS Hobby pellets the best

    Things I liked:

The Price of course lol. I happen to find them for well under 100 bucks so I bought two of them.one for the wife , that's what I told her anyhow. As far as what I like it's gotta be the nitro piston for smooth cocking and I also think it's built pretty well. People complain about the scope but I have no issues with it.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I didn't like was the finish on the stock. So I stripped it barely and sprayed about 10 coats of laquer on it, then I wet sanded it and to polish it I used clear coat safe rubbing compound. Its a real beauty now and wanted to upload some pictures here but don't see a option for that?

    What others should know:

Buy one or two! Very accurate with crosman premiere pellets and it will break the sound barrier if alloy pellets are used, exciting to shoot them but they fly all over the place. If anyone knows how to upload pics here please let me know. Have fun and shoot straight and safe.
