How do I stop the grinding during the cocking cycle. my gun has less than 150 shots. I can only prevent this if I flip the gun over and pull the barrel towards me. thanks!
It's the cocking linkage, the tip or "shoe" at the end scrapes the tube. You can either let it wear a path which leaves a mess of metal shavings that cause problems, or reshape the shoe a bit. I have pix and a full explanation if you want; chevota at hotmail. It will probably also have a secondary scraping problem, both of which should be fixed before ever cocking the gun. There's also misc other problems that cause loss in power and accuracy, I have solutions and pix for all these. Just remind me of the model and problem when writing. This goes for anyone in need.

Im new to break barrel guns. How do I know when this gun is broken in and how much quieter is it after the break in period is complete.
Break in depends on the gun. Once you are noticing the gun stopped dieseling and the accuracy and speed seem consistent then the gun is broken in

Things I would have changed:Couldn't zero it in with the scope... all over the paper! The problem is obvious, too much clearance in the break barrell joint, and the picatinny rail is behind it. the barrell points wherever it wants. good thing it is made from shit soft steel... a few whacks with a pair of ball peen hammers on the rear of the reciever brought the reciever clearancedown, and a few taps on the front of the fork restricted it's wobble. I don't know how long this will last, but hopefully it will do untill I can get an underbarrell cock with a fixed barrell.
What others should know:E-mail me if you want particulars on how I accuratized it
