The design and finish is very attractive. I love the power. I love the sound. Feels like shooting with a real gun. With open sights, I could get a fair accuracy at 12 yards (on a bench).
Things I would have changed:The rifle is heavy. Recoil is strong. Hence if held by hand when shooting affects accuracy. Normal artillery hold can not be applied here. Need to hold the rifle near the trigger (like when you shoot at targets). Extremely difficult to cock. Need both hands. Could not get satisfactory grouping at 12 yard shooting on a bench. The product manual should include fair amount of detail on maintenance.
What others should know:Recommend to buy. If you are a weak person, remember that this is a monster and require grate deal of arm strength. Wear your ear muffs if you shoot with light weight pellets (e.g 7.56 gr). Good for shooting on a bench with a rifle rest (due to weight and recoil)

Power and Accuracy.
Things I would have changed:Rifle is a little heavy.
What others should know:I feel like I need to review this air gun, (and I have never reviewed anything I have bought until now). I have been a long time fan of spring air guns for the fact that you don't need anything but the gun and some pellets. But this air rifle has gone far and beyond my expectations... With a Hawke 2-7 scope I am hitting a 14.5" plate at 166 Yds. 2 out of 3 shots depending on wind, went 5 for 5 in calm conditions. At 120 yds. it will punch holes in a steel oil drain pan. I was even able to make a hit at 200 yds, but its pushing the limits of the scope. I'm using Crossman hollow point pellets which are grouping 1" at 40 yds., I have tried only one other pellet so far (Crow Mags.) which didn't shoot as well. Over all the 135 has proven to be a great gun so far.

Hatsan 135 .22 very light use...Breach seal blows out after a couple of dozen shots limiting the gun's use ....have replaced the seal several times...suggestions?

I have a doubt whether any air rifle scope could be used with this powerful gun without breaking due to strong recoil. (1) do you have any experience ? (2) what is a recommended robust air rifle scope/s/ brand/s ?
Hi, Yes, I own a spring powered Hatsan 135 in .22 caliber. I have an older UTG 3-12x40 AO scope on it. So far it has been fine. BTW, you should get an offset mount for it since the channels for the scope don't extend very far to the rear of the receiver.
what is the cocking effort
be careful when doing this. I once got wounded while doing this using my bathroom scale. The mussel jerked back and hit my thumb and due to this my riffle barrel slightly bent
Hi, Yes, I own a spring powered Hatsan 135 in .22 caliber. Using my bathroom scale as a means of measuring the downward force I can say it's about 50 pounds.

Yes it's heavy, Yes it's hard to cock, Yes it's loud and has tremendous recoil, but I found patience, and learned how to handle this springer. It was worth the time invested to use the artillery and perfect it. A perfect tool for it is very hold sensitive. Finally i'm hitting quarter size free handed at 30yards. Took some 600 pellets and arm strength but i'm very happy now.
Things I would have changed:Don't bother with a scope, this is a teaching tool....
What others should know:Practice makes perfect, this is an accurate gun, it's all you......
