the light weight and the easy cocking
Things I would have changed:The pistol grip is way to far back and to wide. made for extra large hands
What others should know:shoots a 1 inch group at 10m

I purchased 4 for 4-H shooting sports for the easy cocking effort and great sights.
Things I would have changed:We immediately had issues on 2 of the guns with losing the pellet behind the bolt. If the gun is at all angled with the barrel up when inserting the pellet, it drops back into the rifle and rattles around until you manuever the rifle correctly to drop out. We decided to return them immediately because if we were fighting the guns the beginner shooters on the line would be sure to have constant problems.

I know I am asking a question way out side the box, and understand that this may take engineering skills, but is it possible to fit the barrel of a Daisy 880 to the 845? I ask this as I like the single pump action of the 845 but loath the inaccurate smooth bore it has, but I like the 880 for the rifled barrel but don't like the multi pump action.

It's important to know that due to state and local laws, there are certain restrictions for various products.
It's up to you to research and comply with the laws in your state, county, and city.

We have been using these air guns for many years now through hundreds of Cub & Boy Scouts at our local camp. No BB gun is perfect but for teaching the basics and boys having fun because the sights are good these are hard to beat.
Things I would have changed:I wish it had a sliding door or cover behind the bolt/cocking handle to prevent BB's from being inserted by accident. Good training gun for beginners.
What others should know:Most of the problems with this rifle are youngsters inserting the BB behind the bolt instead of into the chamber area. That solves many of the issues. That and not reusing old or rusty BB's.
