The Obsidian II Core is a highly specialized computer that quickly runs a collection of functional sensors while the high resolution sensor delivers night vision capability. Easy to set up on your smartphone, the X-Sight offers customization to fit all your needs. Range in with the Smart Range Finder, enter the wind readings and let the Obsidian Core do the work for you. Whenever you turn through the wind, change your incline angle, or adjust distance, the point of impact shifts to provide the perfect shot every time. With the Recoil Activated Video, (RAV), you get a full video of what you saw before the shot was taken, the moment of the shot, and as much video after as you'd like.
If using the X-Sight on multiple weapons, simply create a profile in the Profile Manager and you don't have to worry about resetting ballistic and zeroing in data every time. And with only two clicks and a simple scope shift, you can range your target. Once ranged in, the reticle automatically adjusts to the point of impact. No guessing, and no memorizing charts or calculations.
At the end of your day, you'll have videos and photos to share with friends, family and on social media.

Great buy for the money. Took some trial and error with the illuminator to get night vision clear on first trip but have dealt with it now and very clear. Love the photo and video features. Mounted on AR 15 554 frame. So far its been great. I have thinned out ferrel hogs in our area with it. Extremely accurate, and well priced for the technology that is on board! 5 stars for sure!

Outstanding optic. The features are great. This scope has all the bells and whistles. The scope is nice a sturdy. It comes with an awesome carry case. The illumination in total darkness is impressive. Even in dusk light the standard day optics draw in enough light to make a confident shot. I would highly recommend this scope

CAN YOU JUST MOUNT THE SCOPE AND SET IT FOR DAY/NITE VISION AND NOT GO THRU ALL THE TECHNICAL STUFF.
The technical stuff does include how to sight in. You do have to do some Technical stuff to get the scope to work.

Love the fact that you can record your shots in real time as well as manual recording. Noce 5-20 optical zoom.
Things I would have changed:Quicker turn on and power up. It takes about 10 seconds to fully power up and give you the cross hairs. Wish the video quality at 120 was a tad better but still looks good.
What others should know:Fully charge before use. Make sure and set up scope height first if not you will mess up your zero.
