Things I liked: Longer breech and set screw to stabilize the barrel for better precision shots. Providing rails for various optics. Make 1377 more substantial in weight.
Things I would have changed: The "screw in" part of the bolt hand has poor QC or tolerance. It was actually too long to prevent the flange touches the bolt body. This makes the joint extremely weak and problematic. Many people mentioned the handle would unscrew itself during cocking due to the same issue. Within a week, mine has stripped thread due to creeping out and loading the cocking force. Friend of mine having machine shop who help me to restored the thread (8-32 thread) and take out the length of the screw part slightly so the flange sit well with the bolt. With some loctite, it should be even better than new!! I also wish that they have different version with weaver rail, so most red dot can be mounted without adapter.
What others should know: The install manual is horrible. Checking out some Youtube instruction will make it so easy in 5 minutes.
Things I liked: Get this - it makes mounting a scope much more secure, makes the overall piece much better.
Things I liked: Much smoother cocking action and the 3/8 dovetail .
Things I would have changed: The tiny Allen screw that holds the breech screws in lower than the breech causing the pellet to hang up just before the pellet enters the barrel.
what is the dimensions of the Crosman short breech?
What is the length of the long breech vs the short
Does this breech have a dovetail rail or is it just tapped and ready for a rail to be mounted?
