Things I liked: I popped in basically heap praise on this product. Installation was easy. I didn't need a video, but even if you do, there's nothing difficult about this. The parts fit right, and the procedure took about twenty minutes. I was using a barrel mounted rail for a red dot sight, and the I can now mount the sight on the receiver, at the proper place for eye relief, and it's solid as a rock. It's much better than the standard plastic receiver, and looks much nicer, but the improved sight mounting turns a decent airgun into a great airgun for me. I also very happy to ditch the standard sight.
Things I would have changed: The cosmetic end cap was a bit rough, and I had to file it down to get it in, but that was the only problem.
What others should know: Dovetails on the receiver are 3/8".
Things I liked: Very nice item ...quality seems very nice. The fit was easy and straight forward.
Things I would have changed: None
Things I liked: Ease of installation. Quality. Heft.
Things I would have changed: Occasionally pellets get caught up in the breech on the small hex bolt that connects the breech to the air chamber. Not a huge deal though. I don't have issues with wadcutters like some other people have.
What others should know: Fits well, easy to install. Sturdy and it's much better quality than the plastic breech on my 1377.

So, I recently got an older American Classic 1377 (it has the sliding breech cover) and it won't hold air when I pump. I can't seem to figure out what I need to do in terms of replacement parts in order to get this old lady back up and running. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
First thing is strip it down and inspect all the seals and springs, and inspect all over the inside of the pumping tube for wear or damage. Replace parts as necessary, starting with o rings or seals. And of course don't forget the pellgun oil.
