Your Gamo scope is braced for the harsh 2-way recoil of magnum spring-piston rifles but is also a great scope for a rimfire rifle. No matter which gun wears this scope, increased accuracy will be your reward.

This rifle scope has an etched-glass reticle, which is superior to a wire reticle because it's etched by a laser and is much more precise...and you'll get even more accuracy from your gun. Another way that etched-glass reticles are superior to wire reticles is when they're illuminated. The etched ones show the illumination only on the reticle. It looks like the reticle is floating. Wire reticles often have a reflection of the illumination in the objective lens, which can be distracting when shooting.

Things I liked: The one piece mount that this scope comes with is heavy duty , solid piece.
Things I would have changed: This scope does not have an adjustable objective really needs one ! They should quit selling rilles that include scopes because they never work right and lower the overall price of the rifle. The purchaser should be the one choosing the scope of there choice. There are so many better scopes out there for the money
What others should know: I received this scope with my hunter extreme .177 cal tried to sight in could never zero it so gave up , replaced with a leapers 4x16x50mm AO couldn't be happier reused the one mount its a solid combo , this scope does not move. Would not recommend the gamo scope to anyone. Even wally world has better scopes than gamo.

Things I liked:Has lots of power to make things look closer. Looks real cool. Parallax so so...
Things I would have changed:The mount is not strong enough to withstand the beating of Magnun air rifles like the RWS 350 & 460 or the Xisico B28,on this last rifle the mount came totally loose after 5 to10 shots. One of these mounts also came with damaged threads, poor materials
What others should know:I had this scope with the Gamo socom extreme, the rifle is a heavy kicker, and it damaged the reticle of this scope in a short time. The reticle moved from vertical position to an X position. The scopes front retainer O ring also came loose . To top this all off Gamo has poor service when compared with Leapers which is very good. Almost forgot I have two of these scopes and both of them came with finger prints or smudges inside the lenses that could readily be seen when it was dark and I turned on the illumination. Honest critique.
