Things I liked: The thickness of the body and handle.
Things I would have changed: Nothing
What others should know: If your going to have a knife in the woods I would recommend this one.
Things I liked: Brianag618, USA; Nice knife! Smaller copy of the USMC KA-BAR. The whole Knife (blade) is a single piece of metal with a great rubber hand grip.
Things I would have changed: The sheet for this KNIFE needs to have the belt loup made approx., 1 inch larger so it will fit over a lot of Duty Belts. Change the Velcro BUTT Strap to a Strap with a Snap button for better holding power in the Sheet, the Valcro tends to let the Knife fall out when you hang it upside down on a Combat Tac., Vest.
What others should know: As I stated it is a smaller version of the USMC KA-BAR and at the same time lighter. I have one on my Duty (Service Belt) and will P/U a 2nd one for my Tatical Response Vest, just because of its light weight.
Things I liked: This knife is a wonderful fixed blade knife for the money. It has a full tang and has a thick blade. The handle is rubber and gives you a nice firm grip. The knife feels good in the hand and it isnt to long, but it feels really nice. The sheath is wonderful because it comes with a sharpening stone that works really well. The sheath also has a few carry options. You can wear it horizontally or vertically. It also has a heavy duty 'D' ring that doesent feel cheap whatsoever. Being that the name is Smith and Wesson, you know you cant go wrong.
Things I would have changed: I dont like the velcro clasp that fits around the handle to make sure the knife doesent go anywhere in the sheath. I felt like it could be a snap and it would be a lot better. Other than that, wonderful knife!
What others should know: Dont let the 6 inch blade keep you from buying the knife because it seems to big. It is a nice size and you wont regret it once you buy it.
