The Talon can use a very wide variety of pellets and round balls. Have a look at our suggestions in the AMMO link below. Click the ACCESSORIES link to find targets, pumps and other nifty gear for your Talon.

Includes gun, thumbhole stock* & flash suppressor. Pyramyd AIR will thread the muzzle (1/2x28 threads) to accommodate the flash suppressor (suppressor style may vary somewhat from our photo). The threaded muzzle will also accept a silencer.

*The new Spin-Loc tank includes an adjustable buttplate. When we add the Bounty Hunter thumbhole stock, the buttplate becomes non-adjustable because we drill a hole in the buttplate to anchor the TH stock.

NOTE: The .20 cal. pellets are slightly longer than the .22 cal. pellets of the same weight. Therefore, they drag in the barrel a little more and produce lower velocities. The quoted figures (showing the .20 cal. gun shooting slower than the .22 cal. gun) are actual test figures and are correct.

Thanks to the new Spin-Loc tank and collar, you don't have to remove the gun's air reservoir to fill it. Of course, if you want to, you can remove it easily and attach another one. Carrying an extra filled tank when shooting in the field is a lot easier than carrying a scuba or carbon fiber tank for refills.

You'll need an adapter to fill the reservoir with air. The type of adapter depends on how you plan to fill your gun. A scuba tank will require a different adapter than a hand pump or carbon fiber tank. If you use a hand pump, the type of adapter you need depends on the brand of hand pump you use.

Things I liked:

I have been hunting with the Talon 22 18' barrel for two weeks now and let me tell you this is my favorite air rifle to date. Out of the box was shooting JSB Jumbo 14.3 grain domed at 30 yards and keeping a dime size hole. Changed out my UTG scope with a Bushnell AR-223 for easier range adjustments and so far 14 squirrels and a Raccoon in the freezer, all head shots between 20 to 50 yards. This thing is a fantastic hunting rifle.

Things I would have changed:

I would like to see some kind of catch when you close the breach to keep it secure but it really has not been a problem yet.. Some seem to dislike the safety but after a day of use, I have grown quite fond of it..

What others should know:

The Talon has a smaller air valve so I am guessing this is why I get close to 200 shots per fill, I use the JSB 14.3 grain pellets at the 4 level on the power setting and because of the lighter pellets my crony is showing between 750 to 820 fps, I have not tried higher power settings yet only because I like the air fill to shot ratio's I am currently getting... 18" barrel will have less drag then the 24" barrel for the lesser power levels. Lastly, make sure you get a high scope mount, the mid size puts you a bit to low and makes it difficult to get low enough on the air tank to see comfortably...

Things I liked:

Great look and great feel. First day shooting, I shot 1 inch groups, second day I shot half inch groups at seventy five yards. I was shooting at a target placed on a bundle of 25 boxes. It went through twenty of them. Along with the accuracy, this thing has the power to match. Love that its made in the U.S.A. I also was using a center pointe AR scope using weaver 22 medium mounts. This gun is loud, sounds like a rim fire.

Things I would have changed:

The shoulder stock is a bit uncomfortable, otherwise nothing.

What others should know:

I used the hand pump. Also well built, not American built though. It takes an hour to pump. Watch online video to properly use the pump. It works well

  • Francisco from Guatemala asked:

I can power up 950 feet to 1100 as the SS Condor?

    • oats from USA answered:

The Condor ss does have a larger valve on the tank producing more F.P.S. The Talon series uses a smaller valve. The Condor ss comes with an 18 inch barrel so the longer the barrel the more F.P.S. , a 24 inch barrel would produce more F.P.S. depending on which model is chosen.Installing a 24 inch barrel would mean the ss model would no longer be suppressed.

  • paul from USA asked:

    is the barrel 16mm diameter?

    • oats from USA answered:

      Yes.

  • shiva from USA asked:

is dis air gun a smooth barrel or spirol bareel

    • oats from USA answered:

      Outside of barrel is smooth.

    • oats from USA answered:

The barrels have rifling they are not smooth bore.
