| This classic Crosman is a powerful hunting rifle with the increased stopping power of .22 caliber. A .22 caliber rifle offers a heavier pellet that increases the striking force on impact, making it the perfect choice for small game hunting and pest control.
This handsome gun also features a handcrafted American hardwood stock. A newly redesigned longer breech accommodates a scope. This version also has a new rear site to allow for better target visibility to help punch out the bullseye on any target. The 2260SE comes with a CenterPoint 6x32mm compact scope & rings. Scope is unmounted. It has an adjustable objective, parallax focus from 3 yds to infinity, red/green illuminated reticle, hunting turrets for windage and elevation adjustments, and flip-open lens covers. This scope has developed a strong fan following as a bug buster and delivers solid performance shot after shot. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Crosman 2260SE by Crosmanreviews summary
Things I would have changed:The open sites are a waste. The trigger is o.k. What others should know:I am an oddity. I have gone from Mercedes to Corvettes, and RWS to Crosman. Nitro Piston baby...
Things I would have changed:More flexibility in mounting the scope. For my comfortable shooting position I had to have the rings gripping the very edge of the grooves. I would also like the ability to lighten the trigger pull. A device (such as the one for the Ruger LGR) whereby one could remove the CO2 cartridge without losing alll the gas. would be great. What others should know:Manufacturing quality control seems to be non-existant. The bolt was immoveable by hand. The service agent at Pyramid Air suggested I take a hammer to it. This did release the bolt and I got about 50 shots before the entire bolt mechanism failed totally. I am awaiting a replacement.
Things I would have changed:Quality of the gun itself What others should know:Without the scope you'd be lucky to hit the side of a barn from the inside. Front sight cocked left 15 degrees. Flimsy rear sight bent and made of very thin material so you could bend it back if you wanted to. I wouldn't recommend this gun with iron sights only. Go with the scope or something else all together.
