The stock and forearm are made of a durable synthetic that takes lots of use and still looks good. An economical rifle, the Pumpmaster takes up to 10 pumps to send BBs 625 fps and pellets 600 fps. The checkering on the grip and the indentations on the pump handle make it that much easier to get a grip and stay on target. Ideal for plinking and target shooting. Things I would have changed:I have to pump it 4 or 5 times to give it the oomph it needs. I'm only shooting this in my back yard, so I'm not shooting over a large distance. What others should know:I would definitely buy extra clips for the pellets. I bought an extra 4 pk and have them ready to go. Pellets seem to be more accurate than the BBs. Comments
Does the pump action break away from the gun or does it slide under the barrel?
Things I would have changed:Include the paper targets the package says it contains. Mine did not have them anywhere to be found in the box. I opened and looked through everything twice. No targets were included in my kit. What others should know:This is not an airgun for the unsupervised. It requires an adult to pump and load for the child. At 700+ FPS this is not a toy and should not be treated as one.
