Here are some stats with different pellets:

.22 caliber:
11.9-grain lead pellet = 985 fps (26.61 ft-lbs)
14.5-grain lead pellet = 911 fps (26.46 ft-lbs)

.25 caliber:
17.0-grain lead pellet = 766 fps (22.13 ft-lbs)
27.0-grain lead pellet = 651 fps (25.38 ft-lbs)
31.0-grain lead pellet = 607 fps (25.34 ft-lbs)

Of course, lighter-weight pellets will give you greater velocities than we got in our tests.

Things I liked:

Things I would have changed:

What others should know:

use lock tite as with any gun, dispacted 3fox, 2cyotes,20+possum, and squirels to 60yrds. try many diferent weights of pellets, i like about 30g cone shape best.

Things I liked:

The design is really nice especially when accompanied by multiple shoulder stocks. Only used it a few items and found it pretty accurate. Really like the Crosman Nitro piston; it provides good power for little effort.

Things I would have changed:

Kind of tricky get the handle of the break barrel, use it a few times and you get used to it.

Things I liked:

* Appearance - This rifle looks good in my opinion - much like a "real" hunting rifle. * Weight - This rifle is quite heavy - that means it tracks smoothly, and helps combat the heavy lawyer trigger that so many airguns have now days. * Power - With most pellets, this rifle will through-penetrate a water filled steel coffee can at 10 yards. * Penetration - I built a 'Fackler Box' to test the penetration. I thought 12 inches of water would be enough, but the "too heavy" Eunjin 43gr pointed pellets penetrated completely, and STILL had enough force to penetrate 1/2 as much of the backstop medium as if nothing were in its path. * Features - The adjustable fiber optics are very nice. I love the grown-up length of pull, and the fact that it comes with additional spacers to adjust if needed. * Noise - I expected a gun that generates 25+ foot pounds of energy to be loud. It is not! This gun is actually very quiet. It reports a strong "PUTT" type noise when fired, but it is quite soft - about the same, or perhaps a bit quieter than a .22 CB cap. Quite covert. * Accuracy - This is no target gun, thanks to its somewhat heavy trigger pull, but the trigger breaks fairly cleanly, and the gun doesn't seem to be very hold sensitive. Overall, It's a GREAT field gun, which is the entire purpose.

Things I would have changed:

* Safety button / type - The 'automatic safety' is completely and utterly STUPID. It is located in an awkward place, and feels kinda' chintzy. The manufacturer should replace it with a manual type cross-bolt safety. * Trigger - It's not all that bad... but It could easily be lightened up without creating any kind of hazard. Lawyers at work in a field they don't understand.

What others should know:

* Recoil - This gun actually recoils... not a lot, but more than a .22LR; Much like the recoil of a .22 magnum, or 17 HMR, but without all of the noise. While this gun has plenty of POWER to take game at long distance, the trajectory will make that hard. Strikes on a steel plate rang confidently at 80 yards, but hitting anything smaller than a 2 foot steel plate will take a lot of guess work. The pellets, especially the heavy field pellets, drop like stones after about 30 yards. You are going to like shooting this air rifle. :)
