The .22 cal. HW97LK has plenty of power for metallic silhouettes, plinking, hunting small game and pest elimination.
The HW97LK is the carbine version of the HW97, which is the successor to the popular HW77 model. Made in Germany by Weihrauch, this underlever airgun has all the power and accuracy you'll need to shoot field target or knock down metallic silhouettes (.177 recommended) or hunt small critters and eliminate those pesky rodents around your yard (.22 highly recommended). The special look of the laminated blue-grey stock is a real stand out among ordinary rifles!
It comes without sights, so you must mount a scope. The 11mm grooves in the receiver make that a quick job. If you like the ease of shooting a spring-piston gun, then the HW97LK should be your next airgun.

Things I liked:Easy trigger pull. Extremely accurate. Have a Gamo CFX to compare. Gamo is loud and twangy with horrible trigger pull but accurate. 97LK is a different animal. Very similiar to AirArms products. Superb finish and look with laminate. Impresses people. Quiet and little recoil. Things I would have changed:Nothing

What others should know:Shoots best with Beeman FTS and Crosman Premier lites. Beeman FTS shoot dead on and hit extremely hard. Great for hunting and plinking. Dropped rabbit at 25 yards. Invest in good scope.
