Swiss Arms Protector CO2 BB Submachine Gun

This BB gun is the most fun I've had since I started collecting air pistols and rifles. Excellent value, great to shoot and for a BB gun very accurate once you take the time to set up the sites which buy the way was also fun. This gun has some of the most realistic blowback and feel and I get great results at 30 feet, 2-21/2 inches free hand. Keep having to remember this is a BB gun. Awesome.

Semi auto 45 to 50 good strong shoots per C02, full auto 30 but what a great experience.

This gun is a lot of fun to shoot. I was surprised at the amount of recoil the gun had and how accurate it was given the small sights it came with. I was about to get over two mags worth on a single CO2 bottle. Changing the CO2 is easy (be easy on screwing the cap in though...) The foldable stock was easy to use and stayed in place while shooting. The weight was right where it should be, not too heavy but you know your holding a solid gun. I would have paid more for this gun, a bargain for the price in my opinion.

The sights are not the best on this gun. It is hard to be precise with the small holes on the rear sight. Perhaps have some ability to add a laser or other attachments to the front of the gun. Also I would like to have seem the CO2 cap in the magazine to be made from metal instead of plastic.

I over torqued the cap that holds the CO2 in place, splitting it in half and breaking the metal tab. Its easy to do and I see why they include an additional cap. It took quite a while to get the broken cap out. Only screw just past when you hear the gas from the CO2 stop hissing, there is no advantage from overtightening the cap. I had a couple of occasions where I inserted the magazine into the gun with a fresh CO2 bottle and had all the gas hiss out of the gun. It seemed to happen when the ejector port was open when inserting the magazine.

OK, I think this is my new favorite CO2 gun. This thing looks and feels like the real deal. Made or distributed by Cybergun. The only difference in this one and the Umarex metal version is the branding on the side. This one has Swiss Arms on the back where the other IMI branding would be. It also has the same selector on the side A|R|S. Not the 2 position selector like the cheaper Umarex with the fake suppressor. This one is 2x as heavy, with lots of metal and is full auto selectable. The Umarex with the fake suppressor does not have the option for full auto. Everything about this gun feels real. When shooting, the blowback works great. The stock even slaps you in the face like a real Uzi! Again, this one is heavy, just like the real thing. I do not own an Uzi, but I do own a MAC-10/11. The weight is about the same as a fully loaded MAC with a full 15 round mag of 9mm. Just a great all-around replica, and a blast to shoot. Well worth the 99 buck price tag and SUPER FUN!

Why they neuter the full auto on these guns with the "selector block" is beyond me! But it's a super easy fix. It literally takes about 2 minutes to correct. 2 things, that would likely drive the price up - it would be nice to have a 2nd mag. It would also be nice to have a threaded barrel, so you could add your own suppressor or barrel extension. Both of these things would likely cause a stiff price increase, and I do like the 99 price tag. Other than that, I don't think I'd change anything. This thing is great.

As I said already, if you don't pay for the upgrade, it will not come full auto. But the full auto mod is very easy to do. This gun is a GAS HOG! I shot this one on a warm day (about 70F), and got right at 50 bbs (that's 2 full mags) with 1 12g CO2 can. But if you think about all that this CO2 is doing, you can see why it uses so much. The blow-back action on this gun is fantastic!
