On impact, these nicks create an extreme mushrooming effect that forces the point to project even further. Unique but also amazingly effective! Having the qualities of both a hollowpoint and a pointed pellet, this lead projectile will prove highly effective for hunters and pest eliminators. The mushrooming hollowpoint is the first hit, but the extra penetration of the point is like a second hit on the same quarry.
The world's only partitioned hollowpoint pellet!
Item Code: BN-52177 [PY-P-916]
Things I liked: Good accuracy in my LGV Master AND expansion!
Things I would have changed: Nothing--perfect for a non-"Magnum" springer!
What others should know: These pellets are no longer available to I plan to try the new H&N pellets, which appear to be the same (and feature a more representative weight specification): http://www.pyramydair.com/s/p/H_N_Terminator_177_Cal_7_25_Grains_Hollowpoint_400ct/971
Things I liked: Clean looking pellet, fits chamber nicely. Acceptable accuracy in my Crosman Vantage NP.
Things I would have changed: nothing
What others should know: Average weight of 7.2 grains, 7.1 grains printed on tin. Cronograph and accuracy data performed with a Crosman Vantage NP at 5 ft from the end of the barrel. 10 shot string, average velocity, 1000 fps, extreem spread, 6.6 fps, standard deviatioin 2.2 fps. Was able to maintain a 1 inch pattern at 20 yards which I considered acceptable accuracy.
Things I liked: Accurate. Shoots well out my Crosman 1377.
Things I would have changed: Screw on lid for tin.
What others should know: Pellet weight has been pretty consistent. Not too much deviation in pellet weight. Most pellets usually weigh between 7.1 to 7.3 grains.
