H&N .25 Cal, Round Lead Balls, Copper-coated, 200ct by Haendler & Natermannreviews summary
Things I would have changed:These are very good for what they are, but a bit pricey. Increase the number per tin by going to a larger standard size tin and get the price per round more inline with standard Diabolo pellets. What others should know:These are a hard penetrator type pellet bette suited to close range work in my rifle. They are hard to seat in the chamber, so I added a big soft rubber pad to the back of my bolt to save my thumb. I may just use these 3 at a time for a bit of a shotgun effect at close range, as my rifle has enough power to do such things. It's thus fairly equivalent to three 00 buckshot pellets hitting an animal, enough to do major damage if they all hit.
Things I would have changed:screw on lid . What others should know:if you want to have deep penetrating and accurate ballls theese are great.
Things I would have changed:I would make them in all calibres especially in 50 cal. What others should know:The gammo roundball suck in all calibres. they are undersized. I dont know why pyramyd dropped H&n for gammo. That was a very dumb move. so buy them up while you can because thats it. Airguns of arizona wont carrie them Either. Roundballs perform superior with a smooth bore. that is why they are not that popular. under high power the 1in28 twist makes them girate off center. under 800feet per second they work very well. I use only smoothbore barrels in .22 and .25 @ 1300fps and shoot same hole groups at 80yds. I only hunt crows and still drill them at 120yds plus. You can call me Tackdriver....
