  what are the differences between this model R7 and the earlier model R7 with the iron sights and silver trigger? I found a used earlier model R7 for $150 online and was wondering if the newer R7 is a lot better than the earlier or should I just go for the earlier model and tune it and mod it? thanks.

  Since this gun only makes modest power Paul ; why didn`t you use lighter pellets such a the 7.33 grain Air Arms Falcon ( a.k.a. JSB Express R.S) or 7 grain RWS hobbies for accuracy tests Going straight to heavier pellets, like Kodiaks will put a lot of strain on the R7`s little mainspring, I would even have gone for 7.9 grain JSB Expresses or good old CPL`s
