I like the rate of fire for this weapon. It is fun to shoot when it works. I like that it is compact enough to carry as a sidearm.
Things I would have changed:I don't like the all plastic construction of the weapon but it holds up fairly well. However the internals of the weapon are poor quality. I've purchased two of these weapons and after seven or so magazine clips through both weapons, the blowback nozzle on both of them broke. At first I thought this was just a quality control issue but two products with the exact same problem, this was a faulty design.
What others should know:Do not buy this weapon. KWA may have a reputation for producing quality airsoft guns but the M11A1 is not one of their quality pieces.

I own both the old version and NS2 version of the KWA M11A1. The old one worked great, but this one is basically just a revamped V1 by using a new-style loading nozzle, improved magazine feed-lips and magazine gas router for better air seal. The entire body is made of plastic (Upper receiver has a stamped steel insert) but nearly everything else is metal. It's fun, decently accurate, and has stellar gas-economy thanks to the NS2 system upgrade.
Things I would have changed:I wish KWA would've kept the rear metal plate for the back of the receiver like it was in the NS1 version. I've already got a huge crack going down the rear of the body. I recommend a piece of paper towel being stuffed into the rear of the gun to protect the fragile ABS plastic. Also, I wish the loading nozzle was metal. I broke the loading nozzle because, unlike the NS1 version, the loading nozzle isn't made of metal. You MUST pull the bolt to the rear before inserting the magazine.
What others should know:PULL THE BOLT TO THE REAR BEFORE INSERTING THE MAGAZINE.
