Purchased two of these and as previously stated the bluing is nicely done and the stock is decent as well. They are pleasant to shoot as well as cock since they fall into the youth catagory. I have tried a a large sample of domed pellets and the ones its seems to like the most are JSB Express and H&N Excite Hammers. More often than not I am pancaking pellets in the same hole at 10 meters from a bench. The Hammers probably fall into the wadcutter/domed hybrid category as the dome is fairly shallow compared to other domes pellets, initially I purchased them as an inexpensive breaking pellet and it turns out the gun seems to like them the best. For those interested the scope stop that sits at the end of the compression tube is made of plastic and not metal as I assumed it was. Initially I would say the scope seems to be ok for the money and good enough for a beginner to start off with. The crosshairs are a little on the thick side.
Things I would have changed:The barrel pivot pin is just a hammered pin/rivet as opposed to an adjustable screw which I would prefer and I would add shims or more shim as the forks appears to be squeezed together quite a bit. I haven't yet noticed any lateral movement of the breech block during break in as another reviewer has stated but its possible that it may come down the road as the rifle is used since it is not possible to adjust the tension.
What others should know:One of the scopes that came with the combo seems to have worked loose the ocular endbell. It endbell is threaded onto the tube but it seems like the bell was milled out to much / to large and it now wobbles around on the threads. I assume they used some sort of thread locking compound to take up the slack and keep it in place but it has broken free. Overall I like the gun and the traditional blued steel / wood stock look as so many today use a lot of synthetics, just keep in mind that for the price you are not getting a very high quality $800 springer. They will make good air rifles for my nephews to start of with.

Trigger, easy to cock, looks good. I also like the safety. Not heavy. Nice balance. Pretty decent scope.
Things I would have changed:Nothing I can think of.
What others should know:This is a good deal for the money. This is the 2nd one I have purchased. This one is already more accurate than my other one. I shot about 30-40 pellets and then 7 shot groups at 25 yards with a cross wind about 15 mph. RWS Superdome were at 2.25". Winchester Round Nose were at 2.5". H & N Baracudas were at 1.75". I didn't think that was too bad for that distance, the wind, and it being a new gun and not broken in. I paid $109.99 and I see they are now at $99. The scope is AO and not bad. Good deal and nice little gun for the money.

This a great combo for the price the rifle is light and easy to chock. The scope is very nice and accurate at 25 yards. I bought this rifle for a gift for plinking and it has perform very well at 25 yards hitting water bottles.
Things I would have changed:I would and a sling.
What others should know:great for young shooters.
