Type 96 Black Sniper Rifle without Bipod

This gun is great! It shoots accurately and with a massive amount of force. It can easily pierce three cans, one behind another. I highly recommend getting a scope and bipod for it as it is great for long distance shooting.

The clip can be hard to get into the gun after a little while. Also, at long distances the hop-up causes the BB to rise way up so yu have to aim very low, even with the hop-up all the way turned down. (note: I AM using a .20 g BBs so take that as you will)

This is probably the best airsoft sniper rifle you can buy for the price. It feels great in your hands, very sturdy. If you want an airsoft sniper rifle I wouldn't recommend any one higher than this one.

shoots incredibly hard!!! i use .25 gram bb's for much better accuracy. it is amazingly accurate. very sturdy. easy assembly. i like the metal and hard plastic look very real looking turns heads

the clip is very weird. hard to load it but takes about a min to do. and the placement of where the clip is inserted is kinda weird in my opinion but no complaints

Looks wicked and shoots HARD. Great bolt cycling, really smooth. Very quiet when firing. I've gone through a few $500+ AEG snipers: they were all too loud, too complicated, and not nearly as powerful or accurate as this monster. For my money, this is the best dedicated sniper rifle out there.

This is a very LONG gun (48 inches +), and I would love to see a "tactical" version, with about 10" off the barrel. I filled my stock with expanding foam, and added some weight to the butt to even the balance. I would like to be able to find tight-tolerance inner barrels for this, too; I can't seem to find many UTG upgrades. A fluted outer barrel would look killer, but that's just cosmetics.

I bought the kit, so I got the bipod (pretty nice!), scope (more than adequate), and sling (which was garbage) :) Get a good sling, you'll thank me.
If you're going to scope this yourself, you will need Weaver-style rings, not "airgun" or "dovetail" mounts.
Works great with .25g and .29g shot. You can shoot .20's in a pinch (accuracy sucks, though), but don't even dream of using .12's! :)

i liked the weight and the scope it came with very accurate once sighted.

i had this rifle for about a week and it broke, something in the safety broke, so that i could not pull the bolt back

Absolutely amazing weapon, when speaking of target shooting! Excellent accuracy. Looks VERY real! (my wife was shocked). SILENT weapon. The price! For that kind of money? This is going to be the best rfifle Youj will ever buy!

Maybe it happened only to me, but it took my a while to adjust the scope (and I've been shooting for 20yrs). Those screws inside were just..cheap.

It does not come with bipod, so You have to buy one; however, DO NOT purchase the one for $7.95. It does not work with this gun. Rifle is heavy. You must have a bipod.

i got this gun about a year ago and i love it. The accuracy is amazing i can easily hit a beer bottle from about 100ft away with .2 gram bbs. Its very high quality and i've had no problems with it.

I would definately agree with everyone that the clip is badly designed. It would be alot nicer if it came with a bipod its quite hard to hold steady without one.

remember to lubracate your gun about every 1000 rounds otherwise this could cause serious damage to you gun.

accuracy. free scope and look. very silent. very few shiny parts

clip. its a little hard to get in in a hurry. hop up is a pain to get to.

get it sighted before you play. this will draw blood. make sure your friends keep goggles on,itll put an eye out to. buy a real rifle sling.the ones they come with NEVER work.

This instantly became my favorite weapon after I got it. Accuracy is amazing, the grip is excelent, and the scope is incredible.. Its a 4' gun, looks great, feels great, and handles excelently. If you are thinking about getting a sniper rifle or just need something to compliment your machine gun, GET THIS GUN. The bolt action is incredibly smooth and you can use it all day without getting tired from it. I love this gun.

The clip is the only major thing that bothers me. Its pretty annoying and I don't like how the instructions are so thin. To load it you need to put your fingers on either side and have the speed loader on top, then load that way. I would rather just have a better top to load into, but if you do it the way I just said, it is becomes really easy and still is fine. It would be cool also if this gun came with a bipod, but its fine.

I would suggest getting some Air Venturi .20s and .25 biodegradeables to go with it for amazing accuracy and punch, takes only about 10 FPS off, you can get .48s for amazing hit and only about 85 less FPS. This gun is AMAZING!!!

Super accurate for the money, super nice scope,clips last for ever i could go 5 games on just those two 30 round clips perfect for long scenario games. This gun is superlative in quality, there is plenty of upgrades for this gun i plan on upgrading the gun with a 500fps piston not because the stock one is bad, its just that i want two shoot ultra long range.

it says my gun was suppose to come with a promotional rail system but im not complaining, because after all it was a promo.

Dont use for close quarters combat i was 80ft away from a player and it drew blood on his neck i recommend a sidearm, may i suggest a mp5k from tsd?

This gun will hit a paintball mask every time from well beyond 40 yards with DIGICON .43g sniper rounds.I've had this gun for over 4 months-I've put close to 4,000 rounds through it-and it shoots like new.The orange tip is a plastic clip on that is easily removed without a trace.....making it much more practical for field use.The scope(range estimating)is very clear even in low light situations,or even when its almost completely dark.This gun is almost completely silent-so your opponent doesn't know to duck until he hears the whistling of the bb a split second before he get's hit.

My complaint with this gun is where the backspin adjustment is located-it requires a allen key to adjust.It isn't a problem unless you switch ammo weights and subsequently need to adjust the spin.The scope that comes with the kit isn't the lighted edition as it seems to say if you don't look closely-it is a fixed 4x zoom-but it still is range estimating.

Although much more expensive the DIGICON .43g sniper ammo is the only ammo that I will use.It makes the gun shoot much,much quieter.It is infinitely more accurate than anything else currently on the market.When shooting always use a rest or lay down whenever possible-remember the bb isn't out of the barrel immediately when you pull the trigger-the spring must push the bb out of the barrel and if you bounce at all in that instant your shot will be affected.Also,any breeze whatsoever drastically affects your shot.With a LOT of practice wind can be compensated for.When shooting by a building remember the wind pattern will be affected and the swirling winds around the corners must be accounted for-as well as the size and shape of the building(how much wind it will block)this takes a LONG time to learn.Oh,and on a side note-the sniper ammo hurts three times more when you get hit by it than the reccomended .2g bbs.The sniper ammo will draw blood through a T-shirt at over 40 yards.Last thing-you must regularly clean your gun in side and out.Just carrying the gun and laying in the woods with it will build up dirt and grime.When you clean your gun pull the bolt out(you will need to remove the cheekpiece to do this) and clean the spring,the seals and the inside of the bolt-this will insure continued accuracy and speed as well as prevent wear down.Dirt can easily get inside the clips,and onto your ammo-this destroys accuracy completely.Be sure to clean the clips.When going to an event,bring your allen keys(included with the kit) with you-or you may have to go home early.Hope this helped.
