Description
A favorite among competitive shooters and sportsmen! Whether you're looking for power, accuracy, or excellent fit and finish, this air rifle has it. The Air Arms TX200 Mk III is a spring-piston air rifle that is ideal for anything from competing in local field target matches to hunting small game such as squirrels and rabbits.
The TX200 Mk III features a Lothar Walther barrel and a richly finished Monte Carlo stock with a raised cheekpiece and deep, flawless bluing. In addition to the superior fit and finish, the TX200 Mk III features a two-stage trigger and an automatic safety. Loading is via a sliding breech, which is revealed when you cock the underlever. You have to mount a scope since it doesn't come with open sights.
It shoots at 930 fps in .177 and 755 fps in .22. Air Arms products, including the TX200, are known for accuracy in all calibers. Use the guns for hunting (.22 recommended) or field target (.177 only). You don't have to stop there! It's great for plinking, shooting spinners, killing tin cans or popping paper targets. Enjoy the relatively quiet report and moderate recoil from a gun that has a long heritage of accuracy.

10 of 295 Air Arms TX200 MkIII Reviews
This is a beautiful rifle. I rate a 10/10 on looks alone. It is also very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. It is absolutely an equal to my Weihrauch HW-97k and satisfying to own such great rifles. My ratings for the TX200 are 10/10 for accuracy and the value for money.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing.
What Others Should KnowPyramid Air stands behind their sales. It is safe to purchase them them.
The TX 200 Mk III .22 caliber is my first under lever springer and all I can say is it is magnificent! Accurate, fairly quiet, and a joy to shoot. Hammers squirrels! It a bit on the heavy side, but for good reasons. I put a Hawk Airmax 4-12x40 OA AMX scope on it and it is solid and I love the reticle. You'll love it!
Things I Would Have ChangedMaybe a bit tinner wood width on the front part of the wood stock.
What Others Should KnowIncredible value for what you are getting.
The number 1 thing I like about the rifle is tge accuracy. Number 2 is the ease of rebuilding it. I have over 15,000 rounds through it. I've put two rebuild kits in it. A new piston, and a new compression tube. The compression tube was completely worn out. The piston had deep cracks. That sounds like a negative but in all reality the gun is so easy to work on it is a positive. For under 100 bucks I have a new gun.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wish the rifle was drilled and tapped for a scope base like centerfire rifles.
What Others Should KnowThese guns are more than capable of hunting ground hogs and rock Chucks. Head shots must be taken.
The overall gun is beautiful. The blueing is second to none and I'm pleased with the beach wood. The weather here in Northwest indiana isn't cooperating with me shooting and sighting the gun in. The little I've shot it shows the accuracy this gun is capable of.
Things I Would Have ChangedI read a lot of reviews on this gun and one thing mentioned a lot was the little plug on the bottom of the barrel falling out. It's called a buffer and it prevents the cocking arm from contacting the barrel when closing. The usual fix is to install "0" rings on the cocking arm (it has grooves and the "0" rings look like original design). On a gun approaching $800.00 with tax (more if you want walnut) that AirArms could address this problem. I guess it's more of a nuisance as it doesn't affect the performance. The hole has threads but I don't know the size. Perhaps a nylon screw or set screw would accomplish the same thing minus the falling out after around 50 shots.
What Others Should KnowI purchased a Hawke Airmax 4x12x40 scope with the medium scope rings but had to get the tall scope rings as the scope AO was actually setting on the barrel with the medium. Go ahead and purchase the "0"rings & install on the cocking arm so when the plug falls out you won't accidentally mark that beautiful blueing.
Beautiful gun! Shoots well!!!!
Beauty, ease of operation. I got mine from another vendor a couple of years ago at a better price. I hit the wood lottery with a walnut stock, and got one with a lot of burl in the buttstock, blending to tigerstripe in the forearm. very accurate, and an excellent trigger.
Things I Would Have ChangedWeight, even with the walnut stock it is extremely heavy, Beech would be even more. They need to do something to put it on a diet. Same as the ProSport.
What Others Should KnowPyamid is one of the best dealers of a few I do business with.
Solid built all metal gun with no plastic parts. Beautifully carved walnut
Things I Would Have ChangedNot being able to see the grain before it ships. Also my trigger guard is really badly done it looks like the cut the metal on the saw and painted over the saw marks. Also on the right side of the gun part of the grain looks like a crack on the stock or maybe they professionally repaired the crack. Hard to tell and I'm a wood worker.
What Others Should KnowWhen I text pyramid air a picture they didn't really seem to care. Which is a shame considering I heard nothing but great things about there customer service. I'm gonna see if the trigger guard Is supposed to be in this rough of shape and maybe talk to air arms about the possible crack repair. Or maybe it's the grain.
First of all this is a beautiful air rifle. I have shot it some and it has good accuracy, but i have bkl mounts on it and they will not lock down and stop sliding rearwards. These were recommended by Pyramyd and i mentioned that they didn't have a stop pin, but he said they would work and have not. Other than the mounts, this is a nice gun to add to your collection.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing besides my scope mounts.
What Others Should KnowIt's expensive, but you are getting a quality gun that will last for years.
Not a single cheap part from stock to barrel to cocking lever and ball stop. Extremely accurate and nice lght cocking force.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would add sling attachments on left side and I include a right angle pellet seating tool. I made an STL file and 3d printed one so fingers never enter danger zone.

The walnut stock is outstanding. This is a very nice, smooth shooting rifle and it looks fantastic. It's a joy to shoot.
Things I Would Have ChangedThere is a little rubber bumper that is press fit into a hole between the barrel and the cocking level that fell out. I was able to get it back in place, but it's a bit cheap and silly on a rifle that is otherwise excellent quality. I haven't done any modifications or tuning. Accuracy is quite good, but I frankly expected a little better. It's not bad, and I would certainly recommend this rifle, but at 10 meters, even with a bench rest, it's not going to put every pellet through the same hole. It's accurate to be sure, but not in the realm of being superb.
What Others Should KnowA very good quality, nice looking and fun to shoot rifle. I like how the cocking mechanism works and it's really smooth. The walnut stock is very well made.
