Things I would have changed:The hammer is plastic and looks cheap, trigger too. The safety is very cheap and doesn't turn to safe without using my fingernail to push the ball in. Perhaps it's just my gun. The two rotating clips are defective. The gears are terrible and they do not rotate 50% of the time. I thought my gun was defective until I figured that out. Good thing I ordered a three pack of spares two of which work all the time and one misfires 20% of the time or so. The sights were way off. I had to file down the rear sight and groove a lot. The grip safety requires a strong grip as if you were shooting a 45 otherwise it won't fire. It's not bad but if you like to grip your air pistols lightly it won't work. Power is fine for target but I would gladly trade less shots for more power. Chrome finish and plastic grips are fine. Fake ejection port makes it look like a toy which is why they never show the right side. What others should know:Although it's weight is accurate I find the gun too heavy to add a red dot or scope. After 100 shots you are ready for a break. Makes a great trainer for Bullseye to build arm strength which is why I bought it and worth the price just for that.

Very accurate once I got the feel of the trigger and replaced the fixed sights with adjustable sights. Things I would have changed:I changed out the front and rear sights with Umarex's adjustable sight kit. I've got it dialed in now and shooting quarter-sized groups at 10 yards. I would also like to see slim grips made specifically for this pistol; slim grips that I have for a 1911 won't work on the CO2 cartridge access side.
Other than those things, I wouldn't change out anything else. I've read comments about the grip safety needing to be lighter so the gun will shoot properly, but if you're like me and have a real 1911 pistol, you'd know that you have to really grip it in order to control recoil and get your sights back on the target quickly. What others should know:You need to really grip this gun in order to simulate your grip on the real thing. So quit whining, grip 20% harder and happy plinking. And if your grip consists of tea-cupping your gun hand, then your shots will all be going low left (if you're right-handed).

Clever, but somewhat tedious loading, but after about 7 years with this pistol, it's still working quite well. Things I would have changed:My particular variation is one that is no longer offered. It has a fully adjustable rear sight, a muzzle compensator and wrap-around grips. It also has an "ambi safety", and that is the Achilles heel of this pistol. When one side is down, the other could still be up. So it won't fire. Been that way all along. What others should know:I have owned dozens of pellet and BB pistols over the years. This is one of the most reliable, accurate, and authentic looking I have ever seen. And Yup, I'd buy it again! Just as soon as this one wears out!
