Lever-action BBThe term given to air rifle ammunition. It originally meant a lead shotgun shot in the size BB. When air rifles stopped using that size, the term BB continued in use. Today, it means a steel ball of 0.171 inches to 0.173 inches in diameter. Airsoft balls of 6mm are also called BBs. rifle holds 650 BBs. All-day fun! Kit includes Red Ryder rifle, ShatterBlast targets and stakes, BBs and shooting glasses. This rifle is NOT designed for a scope.

Kit includes Red Ryder air rifle, shooting glasses, 2 ShatterBlast stakes, 8 ShatterBlast targets, 1,050 BBs (3 loaders with 350 BBs each) and a Red Ryder collectible tin with 500 BBs.

The legendary Red Ryder! Who hasn't wanted one of these? Daisy's 1938 Red Ryder model is still a favorite of boys and girls (and men and women). Suitable for shooters 10 and older (with adult supervision), this lever-action spring rifle is lightweight, easy to cock and durable. The solid wood forearmThe forward part of a rifle stock that is gripped by the non-firing hand. and engraved wood stock are just the right length for young shooters.

With a capacity of 650 BBs (Never shoot BBs at hard objects!), you'll be shooting all day long! The rifle comes with a blade and ramp front sight and an adjustable open rear sight. It has a stamped metal receiver.

This rifle is perfect for plinking, shooting paper targets and for training new shooters. The Red Ryder is intended for shooting targets UP TO 5 meters away...about 16.5 feet! Shooting glasses for the shooter and everyone else in the vicinity are necessary, as BBs can bounce back.

You'll be shooting so much that you better load up on BBs. Click the AMMOSlang for ammunition: The entire set of materials needed to shoot a given gun. Things I liked:Visual quality and shooting performance were outstanding. A classic bb gun that made my son smile, and still does. We now have identicle Red Ryders to plink together. Santa/Pyramid came through nicely.

Things I liked:Long barrel and good ingraving on stock.Smooth cocking and good capacity,650 bbs!
Things I would have changed:The piece of leather gets anoying when i cock it ,the cocking lever crunches it and gets stuck but besides that i like the gun.
What others should know:buy it!!!

Things I liked:Nice beginners kit for kids (of appropriate age!)
Things I would have changed:The BB tin is impossible to open! We had to destroy the 'collectable' tin in order to get the BBs. Also, a few more shatter disks would have been nice.
