The MOST fun you can have with an airgun! Includes cleaning rod. In Stock
Your gun may be marked IZH-61 or MP-61 and may have any one of these mfr names: IZH, IZH-Baikal or Baikal. They all come from the same plant and are manufactured to the same specs. The guns are identical.
Good things come in small packages, and the Russian-made IZH 61 is no exception!
This repeating air rifle is so much fun to shoot, you'll definitely have a tough time putting it down. A spring-powered gun, the IZH 61 is easy to cock and can be used by adults and youngsters (with adult supervision).
The trigger is adjustable for length of pull. The synthetic stock has a raised cheekpiece and the length of the stock is adjustable (31" to 33"). The rear sight is a fully adjustable notch. The front sight is hooded. Load five pellets into the removable clip (2 clips included), insert it, cock the sidelever and start having fun!
You can add a red dot sight on the 11mm dovetails to get even more accuracy from this rifle. Speaking of accuracy...you won't outgrow the potential of this gun! The accuracy of the hammer-forged steel barrel is pretty close to what you'll get on a super-expensive Olympic target rifle. Yeah, it's THAT good!
Includes owner's manual.
Don't forget to click on the AMMO link for a list of recommended pellets. Check the ACCESSORIES link for red dots and appropriate mounts, fun targets and safety gear you'll need.

Things I liked:Easy to cock, decent trigger, magazine loading Things I would have changed:I have 2 purcased around december 09 and they are both horribly inaccurate. I cannot reliably hit 8.5 x 11" target at 10 meters. The "groups" are about 1ft if I am lucky. I can throw a pellet more accurately.
I have tried open sites and 2

I have tried open sites and 2 new bugbuster scopes, and an old japanese Tasco.
I have tried 6 types of pellets, and none work. It is not me, I can shoot my Hw35 better without sights.
I suspect the pellets are being deformed by the loading mechanism as some forums indicate (google it).
What others should know:Be sure to send it back in 30 days if it is anaccurate.
The barrels were horribly dirty, and rifling is not as good looking as my other rifles, and pistols. It may be the dirt. I shot about 20 cleaning pellets, and the are still comming out more dirty that my 35 year old hw35 that wasn't cleaned for 20 years..
I thought that since two were showing the same inaccuracy, it may have been pellets, breakin or lack of lubrication. Unfortunately, by the time weather permitted a good test, my 30 days were up.
I will be sending both in for warranty work.

Things I liked:Everthing Things I would have changed:Longer 11mm rail, little bit longer pistol grip (longer never hurt anyone, but short is short). What others should know:Very easy to dry fire when having too much fun so keep track of shots. ENJOY Mine likes Crosman competition 7.56 wadcutters they are cheap too.

Things I liked:Looks, trigger and stock adjustment, and the way it operates. Things I would have changed:Stock finish, and the SIGHTS. New sights are a must. because of that, i really have no idea how accurate the rifle is (or isn't). But it functions well enough, and if you want a gun you can go crazy customizing, this is the one I would say to go for.
