BEECH STOCK. 33 lbs cocking effort. No Open Sights. Requires scope.
The Longbow is a lighter version of the Tomahawk. The Longbow has a shorter cylinder and barrel length. The piston stroke length is reduced and so is the cocking effort. The result is a very smooth firing and vibration-free shooting. The Lothar-Walther match grade barrel is one more great feature of the gun. Requires a scope. Great for light hunting and target shooting.

Things I liked:Nice and lite. Amazingly accurate. The longbow is a much underated rifle in .22 Mine shoots like a dream! hole in hole accuracy. Perfect hunter so quick and accurate. deserves a good scope. Things I would have changed:Sights for god sake! What others should know:Mine really likes meisturklugens or hobby

Does ok with the lighter Beemans but hates the kodiaks. Will diesel with cheap lite pellets keep them at around 14gr or more.

Things I liked:This rifle has a very short lock time so if follow thru is your weak spot this is your rifle. It also has a solid mechanical function to it . I have the .22 model and the accuracy is very good for field target and it also performs well with pest control . Well worth the money if your looking for a good all around performer. Things

I have the .22 model and the accuracy is very good for field target and it also performs well with pest control . Well worth the money if your looking for a good all around performer. Things I would have changed:Would love to see the trigger pull adjust a little bit lighter than 2 lb . For target shooting this would be nice. What others should know:Breaking the barrel takes a sharp slap of the hand on the end of the barrel to unlock . This does not bother me but may not work for those with a soft hand (ie women or youths) . If your accuracy goes away check the stock screws as they do loosen up now and then.(found that loctite didn't seem to help. I think the stock may shrink and swell a little.). RWS Meisterkugeln pellets have the best accuracy for me.
