    Things I liked:

It is a good product that works.

    Things I would have changed:

    More volume per pump.

    What others should know:

It works good. Mine came with the hose as pictured which fits the marauder dirctly so no need for adapters. I fully expected I would need one so that was a nice little surprise. Marauder pumps 0-3000psi in about 200 pumps. 2000-3000psi in about 75-80 pumps. This is not a good option for a small person or someone that cannot move well.

works instead of having to get an divers tank

    Things I would have changed:

the base plate is very small could be bigger

    What others should know:

my pump came with the bottom plate with a stripped hole where the screw goes, but thanks to pyramydair thay x changed it quickly , great company to by from

    Things I liked:

the hand pump is very well made. Fairly descent base to place your feet on while pumping. Large handle makes pumping fairly comfortable. Adapter is included a big plus and the air line has stainless steel braiding.

    Things I would have changed:

Increase the length and diameter of the pumping piston to allow for greater volume making for a faster filling rate. Larger numbers on the pressure gauge to make them easier to read.

    What others should know:

Fairly easy to get the tank to 1000 psi, break a sweat getting to 2000 psi, and a hell of a workout getting to 3000 psi. Darn convenient when there is not a SCUBA tank around or no other way to fill you tank!

    Things I liked:

works great seems it takes less force than my other pump.

    Things I would have changed:

    n/a

    What others should know:

finding someone to fill a scba tank is too much trouble. This is the way to go and gives you some excersize

    Things I liked:

Comes with the adapter I need. No more running out to the paint ball range to get air Top up after every shoot, ready for next Seems durable

    Things I would have changed:

Hand grips seem a bit funny shaped. Gets irritating if pumping up more than a couple hundred pounds. Gauge is quite hard to read. You'll be picking up the pump or laying on the ground to see it.

    What others should know:

These things are a bit of a workout to pump. I'm large and tall. It takes a good deal of effort to pump. BUT, its worth it, unless you're a scuba diver that's always going to the air store. It takes a couple dozen pumps to get it back to 3000 from 2500 or so, about 10-30 shots i'd guess depending on setting. That's a guess, maybe I'm shooting more, not less.

    Things I liked:

It came with the adapter I needed (of course) which is a plus. It works, its a pump what more could you say? It works or it doesn't. Its awkward or its not. This is pretty straight forward. I don't have anything to compare it to, but its the cheapest, comes with an adapter and works. Pretty heavy, often a mark of durability.

    Things I would have changed:

Bigger gauge. You can't really read it as its between your ankles when pumping. But even when you bend over to look its pretty small. Handles seem to be "backwards" to actual physiology. They are tapered and should either be flat or tapered the other way. Or so it feels to my hands

    What others should know:

I had a 4500lb SCBA tank for filling my gun, but would never get around to filling it. Furthermore, I would have to bargain and beg to get it filled "we can't fill anything without a scuba license". Of course if you live in a land locked area that'd probably not be a problem. I live in Hawaii, land of liars and thieves and litigation and methamphetamine. I don't blame the scuba places. It takes a bit to push down on that pump. I had heard that it was a bit of a work out. But I found myself actually kind of jumping up on the handle. If you're short or light, it might not be possible to use a high pressure pump. I'm 6'3" 200 lbs and I was feelin it. But.. if you're feelin it, you could probably use the exercise. Not too bad, but if you're crippled get the scba tank. I've got an old back injury and I can feel it pumping from 1500 psi worth of air on my tank. But its a "good" feel it; a work out. I sold my SCBA tank and more than paid for this pump. Would have bought one of the expensive pumps with better reviews, but then I'd be adding on the adapter anyway. I hear airforce has a good reputation for repairs and the article (i believe on this site) points at the owners for almost all failures. Took quite a bit of working to get the quick connect attached to the adapter the first time. It loosened up after first use.

    Things I liked:

its a little bit of a workout about 5 minites to fill up a tank to 200bar from 125bar . the fill adapter that comes with it makes a great cap for your air tank if its off the gun or a spare

    Things I would have changed:

    its all good

the quality controll is non existent

    What others should know:

Please do not waste your time with this pump!Right out of the box this thing was defective, would pump up to 150bar then start to leak around gauge.I would recomend a hill pump.Best thing for your money.

    Things I liked:

i had a hard time believing that it would fill the gun , but it does though the first few times it was hard , as i figured out how to use it properly its easier . after my scuba tank goes below 3000psi i use the pump to top it off , i have the sam yang 909s , it usually takes only 10 to 15 min to fill by then . I can shoot a box of 50 bullets in no time , so with out a tank filling the gun would wear me out . overall i am happy i bought the pump , and am satisfied with it , as a new airgunner i think it is built well . pyramyd air has been very helpful and very patient as i have many questions that do not come at once !

    Things I would have changed:

i would make the base bigger for more stability , and the handles more comfortable , i am very satified with the product .

    What others should know:

if you plan on shooting alot , no doubt get a scuba tank and use the pump to top off the gun . if i did not shoot as much as i do i would use only the pump . pyramyd air is a great place to shop , even if its for just information !

    Things I liked:

    Easy to use!

    Things I would have changed:

    Bigger foot base!

    What others should know:

this thing takes some muscle strength! It says 3600psi but in the manual it says you should not fill over 3000 psi? This is confusing i got it for the reason it could fill to 3600 psi!!!

it keeps me shooting but it is a workout takes i would say about 400 pumps to fill her up..

    Things I would have changed:

rubber pad on base and a little longer foot base.

    Things I liked:

    It works great. well made

    Things I would have changed:

I know it pumps up to very high psi, but just seems a little pricey but is closely priced to all others.

  • Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Rating 2.02.0 2.0

    Things I liked:

Pump feels heavy duty like a quality build

    Things I would have changed:

Handles could be a lot more ergonomic and more comfortable. 1 of the two screws that attaches the base was stripped when the pump arrived. I called Airforce and they mail me a replacement screw - took 3 days - it should have been over-nighted to make up for sending defective parts with pump..

    What others should know:

Pump is very difficult to pump and use when getting the last 500psi (from 2500 to 3000) into the tank.. Not for the faint of heart. If you have a bad back, any disability with arms/hands, or don't weigh 150lbs+, this pump is not for you.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Seems to pump the tank faster than my hill pump. Very well constructed

    Things I would have changed:

The guage is hard to read becouse of size. Maybe it should have red marks at each 500 or 1000psi to give you an idea where your at. Have the option of a hose to connect to the pump so you can air up other pcp manufactures. This is really only designed to air up airforce tanks without a hose.

    What others should know:

If you only own and plan on owning a airforce or other pcp rifle with a removable storage tank this is a great value. But if you have other pcp rifles you will need a hose to air those rifles up. This will add to the cost and make it not as good of a deal as other pump manufactures.

    Things I liked:

Being able to fill the tank without going somewhere to have it filled, but still a good work out from 2500 to 3000 psi.

    Things I would have changed:

Gauge too small making it hard to see.

    What others should know:

The first pump I received locked up in about a week, called Pyramydair and they got me a exchange sent out the next day, excellent customer service, thank you.

    Things I liked:

Easy to use. Does get a little harder to pump the last 500 psi or so. Seems to be quality bulit.

    Things I would have changed:

The gauge needs to be bigger and easier to read. Hard to see numbers on gauge.

    Things I liked:

Great pump... Easy to use... Very friendly until it gets to the last 500psi!!!! LOL... But, there's no way to prevent it... GO FOR IT!!!

    What others should know:

It's great... whenever you're running low on air in a scuba tank.. This will save your shooting day!!

    Things I liked:

Allows me to shoot at will. No trips to Dicks. Very smooth operation and easy to understand instructions. Sturdy construction due to the fact it's made in U.S.A.

    Things I would have changed:

Include a set of washers for attaching the base plate.

    What others should know:

I wiegh about 180 lbs. It took the full force of my wieght to get the last 800 psi in the tank. This is not something for kids. Unless they are incredibly strong. I used a set of 1/8" thick graphite washers to secure the base plate. Without them it seemed very unstable for the amount of force that needs to be applied. With them it's solid as a rock. Make sure to get some silicone lube for the o-rings. Happy pumping.

    Things I liked:

This is a good pump and the fact that it's made in USA is very important. The first pump we received from Pyramid Air had a faulty release valve, however, it only took one call to Sharon (who is awesome in the sales department) and Chris in the tech department, and Pyramid Air shipped another one out right away. The 2nd pump worked just fine. In fact, the people working at Pyramid Air are very friendly, professional, and most important - helpful in solving problems. This is a big plus for a company in this day and age of impersonal interaction that you get many times with customer relations.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing except that it is very hard to pump. If there was some kind of miracle engineering that Air Force could do to make the pumping easier, that would be great. Until then, it's a good upper body work out.

    What others should know:

At this point, we haven't put the pump through a long period of use, so we will have to wait until it gets put through the paces in a long term thorough test. So far, it works very well.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Once the initial charge is put on your air tank, refills are fairly easy. It is cheaper, quicker and lighter than carting around an electric pump or scuba tank. It is also much more convenient than going to a scuba shop for refills, as your shots drop consistently and quickly after only a couple of pellets. You can just top off to 3000psi after every 5-10 shots all day.

    Things I would have changed:

    1) The baseplate can and did rip off if you pump at an angle or aren't careful. I would like to see a much more sturdy baseplate attachment. 2) If your don't end your pumping session with the pump vigorously pushed down all the way to the stop, you will leave a light charge of compressed air inside the pump which can and did ruin the internal gaskets. I would like to see some way to bleed all the air out of the pump, not just the final stage bleed screw.

    What others should know:

Keeping the airgun's tank pressure consistent, what ever pressure you shoot at, is very important if you want to have clover leaf shot groups at 25 yards, which Airforce rifles will do.
