They are small, work well, and keep the optics at the intended height.

Absolutely nothing! These are a good product at a reasonable price. They work well. They keep the optics steady - no wiggling around. I don't know what you could do to make them any better.

I have purchased several of these at various times to allow standard Pic/Weaver accessories to be used on dovetails. Obviously, if it wasn't any good, I would have gone elsewhere. This is also a very good way to have optics easily moveable between different guns.

Locked up tight with a cheap red dot on my Diana Airbug. Nice low mount. Will fit most any size dovetail. Once cleaned and lubed, they easily slipped in my red dot.

Lube them better so they don't stick. The set screw doesn't do anything and just gets in the way. Get rid of it.

Must be mounted only one way. Otherwise the red dot or scope will be offset. I set mine up with the large side facing away from the screw on my red dot. The screws on the side of this adaptor are only there to hold the internal springs. They don't tighten anything.

Easy to install on weaver/picatinny red dot sight and Umarex Trevox air pistol for a low profile mounting.

UTG adaptors (2) should be made of steel, not aluminum, for spring type air gun usage.

Do not recommend for use on a spring type air gun. The sight (with the UTG adapters intact) would detach from the gun after only three or four shorts. Tried extra tightening of the sight's two mounting screws and adding 0.01 inch shims to the UTG adapters, this gave only a slight improvement. The red dot sight never stayed mounted for more then several shots. The UTG adapter edges that grip into the gun's 11mm dovetail, show heavy wear after only five shots. Did my testing on a carpeted floor to prevent damaging the sight.

Good quality as you would expect from UTG.

Make it work better for 11mm dovetail.

Doesn't work on a HW45 with the 11mm dovetail, should be fine on a 9mm. The 11mm makes it wider than your standard Weaver/Picatinny and some optics will not sit on it properly.

The quality of material and the craftsmanship was good and precise

The dovetail machining is very flat with no arch. The air rifle that I was planning on using it with had an arch that this adapter would not work with. The adapter would not engage the dovetail grooves

I think this works specifically with the QD rings of the UTG bugbuster scope to mount it to any dove tail style rail.

These mounts are spring loaded and will fit into a quick release picatinny mount. This created a quick release dovetail mount. I pull the release and everything comes off the gun and the dovetail adapter remains in the mount.

Check to make sure the adapter stays in the mount. Don't be afraid to use your imagination and experiment with these mounts!

Rock solid adapter for my red dot optic. Really clamps securely on the steel receiver.

These adapters are really great and work perfectly.

the finish is good the idea great

The claws that should engage in the rails of the dovetail don't. Either make the claws deeper or radius the under side so the claws can go int the dovetail.

I had to spend hours with a file and sand paper to radius the under side so the sight would not fall off the gun after a few shots.

Worked like a charm mouning a red dot sight. Not expensive!

Works great for my needs. Has been holding zero so far on the Beeman 1085 I have them on (~300 shots over 3 days.)

A set of instructions would have been nice. There is also a grub screw on the top which really serves no purpose and should probably be removed to avoid confusion.

To use these, you first install them on the Weaver clamps on your sight, and then clamp down the whole thing onto the dovetails on the gun. I had a senior moment, and spent way too much time trying to figure out how to mount the adapters to the gun, and then mount the optic.

Just trying these now . I feel lock tight should be used .these are a great idea I would rate this at a 8 for now

Add a tube of some kinda lock tight and maybe some kinda set screw to hold them in place .seems like they are a great idea

If you have old eyes like me then a scope is a must This set up is by far a great idea
