This a really good made item. I have paid triple the price for a rail adapter that wasn't this solid. And the length is great to, in case you want to mount a really big scope. I found this very easy to mount and with four screws there's no way this rail is going anywhere. So if you have a magnum rifle like the Hatsan 135, which is well know for destroying scopes, you can be at ease knowing the scope may die on you, but it's not gonna move.

This really is a well built rail mount. It'll hold any scope you can mount on it.

The mount can be installed two ways to move the scope closer to the eye or farther from the eye. It is well made with 4 mounting screws and 3 stop screws which gives it a very tight hold even with springer rifles or pistols.

I like all the extra hardware that comes with the unit when the say universal they mean it. went on my dovetail rails very clean. My scopes when on top of the Picatinny railing without issue. Truly contributes to accurate shots down range

It works as advertised.

This is a well made rail. It is one piece, therefore the installation depends on using the screw system to temporarily widen the rail to fit if it doesn't fit as is. 1. I recommend looking at the stop pin position that will likely fit the hole on the gun, then measure/mark how deep to set the set screw on the allen wrench. Otherwise, you could screw it past the rail. 2. You eyeball the rail sitting on the gun to see if it needs spreading with the screws. I recommend using 1/8 or 1/4 turns, not 1/2 turns when spreading the base. 3. Once the rail will set in the grooves, then release the tension on the screws. 4. Use an allen wrench to "fish" for the pin hole as you slide the rail horizontally. Then install the set screw with blue Loctite to the previous marked depth. Keep the rail forward while you place the other set screws lightly. 5. Remove the large short screws then move the long smaller screws to the large screw holes. Tighten to 25 inch-pounds with blue Loctite.

READ THE DIRECTIONS. This fits very snug and centered. It has functional/full sized scope stop pins. Fits rounded barrel/rail tops, not just flat.

The height, maybe drop it 1/8 inch.

READ THE DIRECTIONS!!! I had a problem trying to get this on due to the one peice design, the instructions are CLEAR and show how to use this properly. This sits perfectly center on all my airguns.

Really, Really needs instructions. Who would have thought you need to move screws from one side to the other? I broke two of these before finding a video explaining this.

If Installing an ATN X-Sight on Benjamin Marauder, I also had to get the 20 mil elevation mount (shim) to get it to shoot high enough. Once I used both works great. Have to mount it very far back for the magazine to clear.

Was not satisfied with this product.

Due to solid construction rather than independent clamps from main body of mount it would not stay clamped to gun mount. Was not able to tighten as needed to keep mount from coming loose after a few shots.

Relatively light weight while retaining strength. Easy to mount. Holding tough on an RWS Model 54. Retains immovable grip after several hundred rounds. Keeps scope lower than UTG DNT06. Very well made.

So far everything is good. Time will tell if design and construction need improvement.

Be sure to follow torque specifications to avoid distortion. I replaced a UTG DNT06 mount with the UTG Universal mount because the DNT06 provided too much compensation for my Model 54 with minimal barrel droop.

I like how it attached to the rifle. Its all one piece so it squeezes the dovetail really tight and with the three stop pins it is solid. I have mine mounted on a hatsan torpedo 100x and it has held up fine. I also like how you can mount it either way which was perfect because I have a 3-12x44 utg swat mini and I had a hard time getting the scope back far enough for good eye relief. And it also lifted the scope up about half an inch so it was perfect. Rarely does a product and stars align to where something fixes an issue so well. This was one of those cases

This doesnt come with instructions. Its not like a typical scope mount that is two pieces and you just loosen the screws and slide the two pieces apart till it fits. Its all one piece so to get it to fit you tighten the small bigger head screws evenly and it spreads it apart. Once its wide enough you take out all 8 screws get rid of the shorter ones and put the longer ones on the opposite side they were originally in. Then the shorter ones are not needed anymore. Also when I was tightening this on to my dovetail it took some torque dont be afraid to really tighten it down. At first it almost feels like it is too much.

Heavy Duty-Very well made ! Fit to rifle was excellent ! Have not had any problems at all. The rail was a Great price!

Like I said, it's rock solid and locks down tight. I had to flip mine backwards so I could get the proper eye relief with my scope. I have tried a couple other adapters that didn't last 20 shots, this one still locked down after hundreds of shots.

4 clamping bolts and 3 stop pins make this one solid rail adapter. The packaging comes with no instructions, and believe me, instructions are needed! There are 8 bolts total, 4 on each side of the clamp. The 4 shorter ones are there to only be pressed against by the longer ones in the case of the dovetail being too wide for out of box. My Crosman TR77's slot is wide so I used UTG's method seen in their online video to widen the clamp by adding increased pressure on the 4 long bolts against the 4 short ones until the clamp spreads the necessary millimeters. Then... once on the rail, you first align your stop pin, then you have to remove all 8 bolts and re-install the long bolts in the opposite side with the short bolt holes and tighten everything down. The short bolts then go to the parts drawer. I feel it is never going to come off. This is a quality part in both design and finish. I mounted the UTG Bugbuster scope w/ the QD rings and it is tight--a perfect fit.

C'mon UTG--add instructions to the package! I'm a technician by trade and fix machines daily but I was stumped by the mounting design of this thing until I watched the video and then it made perfect sense. But if you were to buy this at the mall and head off to the field to install it---and even if you figured out the spreading procedure--- you would never get it on right because of the reversing the long bolts to the other side step.

UTG adds 2 extra screws: 1 long bolt and 1 stop pin just in case it should roll off the table to disappear forever. Also, note that the bottom of this adapter is undercut so it can mount on both flat and round topped receivers like my TR77. Nice crisp printing of the the slot assignments in white. Highly recommended.
