Things I liked: I first discovered the Webley Hurricane in the late 1970s. I dealt directly with the original founders of the company, and they provided me with a used or blemished air gun list. Being a starving student at the time, I was pleased to find the Webley Hurricane listed, and bought 2. (The blemishes were minor, and had no effect on the devices' performance.) What I liked about it was the solid feel in the hand, the amazing accuracy, and the realistic feel of a firearm when shooting. Its been a consistent shooter ever since.
Things I would have changed: I did change the grips. Walnut feels much better than plastic. If there were a way to decrease the wear on the breech washer, I'd like that. The links in the barrel cocking system could have used a bit of strengthening. The original package included a plastic mount for the scope, which would be better if metal. The whole thing could be better if I could get another one!
What others should know: If you find one of these, buy it! You'll be glad you did! There's nothing like owning a Webley.
