By jerry from USA on 2012-12-28 01:26:51 Things I liked:the size of the p229 is perfect. the grips have a good feel making it very comfortable and easy to shoot. the decocker works exactly as on the real p229. great accuracy even out to 125 feet. double action trigger pull very good and excellant in single action. nice three dot sights. pistol breaks down very easily for cleaning just like the real sig sauers. nice compact pistol to have as a backup. get spare magazines for even more fun shooting. the trigger guard on the sig is good aid in sighting in on targets. a must have for any sig lovers. extremely accurate right out of the box.Things I would have changed:making the lower frame out of polymer so the weight could be reduced a little, other wise absolutely nothing. What others should know:if you're looking for a realistic and accurate backup pistol this sig p229 is tough to beat. this pistol is the easiest pistol to breakdown for cleaning. if you're looking for a great gun this one's tough to beat. this is the gun that protects America by our agents. a must buy from Pyramyd Air with PA's fast order processing, order it one day and have it the next day. keep up the great work PA. an extremely satisfied customer 10 times over....customer for life |
- Things I liked:I love that this gun is full metal. Accurate right out of the box. I love the weight and the trigger pressure. I can almost think I'm firing a real Sig .40 with the Blow Back action
What others should know:Shoots out the 6mm rounds as fast as you can pull the trigger - Things I liked:Full Metal, The weight and feel. It's very accurate and and very realistic
Things I would have changed:The clip would not take the gas. BUT the customer service is very good & their sending me out a new clip free of charge

Pyramyd air is the best and only place I would ever go for my airgun and airsoft gun addiction. - Things I liked:Very Authentic Look and Feel. Well Done Cyber Gun!
Things I would have changed:Nothing - Things I liked:Realistic full metal body and weight. Even the pressure applied for a double-action trigger pull resembles the the real Sig P229. Blow-back action is realistic as well! This airsoft pistol accepts both Green Gas and the economical alternative Propane! (You'll need to get a propane adapter and a bottle of the airsoft silicon oil to mix with the dry propane)
Things I would have changed:The slide jams when you try to decock the pistol using the decocker while the slide is pulled back. The real gun's decocker prevents you from performing this. Unlike the real Sig Sauer P229, the hammer slams all the way down and does NOT automatically lifts up to the "half-cock" position after each trigger pull. This is not an issue but just slightly chips away the realistic function from a real gun.
What others should know:Please make it in two-tone. More options are always better! - Things I liked:As an experienced airsoft member I would highly recomend this well mastered peice of machinery for its accuracy, full metal construction, and far distance of maximum penetration. So in conclusion this government issued sidearm is a great replica for reenacters and for airsoft combat usage.
Things I would have changed:Nothing, this great green gas sidearm meets all basic and required expectations for its small compact size. - Things I liked:Virtually the same as my REAL Sig P229R pistol. Operates the same, feels the same, all the controls are in the same place. Fun to shoot (cheaper than the the real thing) & pretty quite. Accuracy at 15 yards is about a 3" group. I was using 20g BBs and they begin to drift after 50 feet or so. 23 or 25g BBs may be more stable out to longer distances.
Things I would have changed:Not much.
What others should know:I get about 3 magazines out of one green gas charge - 75 - 80 shots. The green gas is hard to find locally; so order several cans when you get a mail order shipment.
