    Things I liked:

Best pcp gun out in my opinion easy to fill and light weight

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic plastic plastic no gun should have plastic triger

    What others should know:

I have a variety of pcp airguns the discovery is hands down the best one for ease of use and filling

    Things I liked:

Very light. Shorter than my springers. Accurrate.

    Things I would have changed:

Very loud, not backyard friendly. Trigger is not great but usable.

    What others should know:

Spend the extra $$ and get a Marauder pistol with a stock, so much more gun for an extra $135. By the time you mod this to you liking, you could get the Marauder. Or buy a CO2 and convert to HPA with all kinds of accessories.

    Things I liked:

Dual fuel when shooting indoors I use co2 it doesn't enev change poi and is considerably quieter. Accuracy first rate. Fit and finish excellent. Mine is the .22 without pump I have two scba tanks the pump is a waste of money. Shoulders and feels real good.

    Things I would have changed:

Rubber but pad is really needed. Trigger could be lighter and crisper but very serviceable.

    What others should know:

I have all three Maraufers and they can not hold a candle to the way the Discovery handles or shoots. They are nice this is superiour. Now I am torn between which gun is my best and mot accurate my .177 B50 or my .22 Discovery it is a real toss up. Buy yourself a Discovery you will fall in love with it.

The discovery is a great rifle its accurate easy to fill fun to shoot and very light for those long days in the field....i love mine and am extremely glad i bought it

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if it were a repeater like its big brother the marauder but that is just me trying to find something to change.

    What others should know:

The discovery is a great rifle to enter the world of the pcp air gun.Get one and try it out you will not be disappointed.

    Things I liked:

light weight, well balanced and tack driver accuracy. a joy to shoot! Devastating to my local squirrel population.

    Things I would have changed:

wish it was easier to load a pellet into the chamber. Not a huge deal but really slows you down trying to make a follow up shot while hunting.

    What others should know:

This is a very well made air rifle that is spot on accurate. once you shoot this you will never want to go back to a springer.

    Things I liked:

Cheap. Light unlike my Marauder .25 Mostly American made. 2000 psi operating pressure.

    Things I would have changed:

Why ony dovetail mount ??? I guess that lowers production cost.

    What others should know:

I use a 100 cu ft and 80 cu ft steel scuba tank. I used up the air from the scuba from 3442 psi to 2100 psi. That would give me 27 refills of 16 shots or more each refill on the Marauder(400 + shots). Now the remaining pressure on the steel 100 of 2100 psi, I could use it on the Disco. Filling at 2000 then refilling at 1000 gives me 15 refills of 25 shots(375 shots). Now if I only use the steel 100 at 3442 psi just for thr disco I would get 129 refills of 25 shots which is 3000 approx shots. And that at $ 5.00 worth of air at Sport Chalet. Im not buying a pump for now.

    Things I liked:

the wood stock is very light along with the body of the gun. this gun is very well balanced and shoots hard. great for small game hunting and target shooting when sights/ scope is properly adjusted. sights straight out of box on my gun were inacurate so do a little prep work and bench shooting on gun first then go hunting /shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

hollow point pellets are great for accuracy but hard to put in

    What others should know:

with a one piece scope mount it can be hard to put pellet in i was using hollow point pellets. great gun

    Things I liked:

    Things I would have changed:

Me gustaria que fuera de magasin de 6 tiros o mas y que lo hicieran mas silencioso y talvez con mas capacidad de llenado de aire 300psi

    What others should know:

No hay mas que agregarle esta muy comodo su precio y es suficiente para divertirnos.

    Things I liked:

This is a bit more of a reassessment than a review. When I first got the gun I was running it on co2. With co2 it was a bit anemic and hardly a gun I woulg classify as a good hunting gun. I just bought the air pump and switched it to compressed air. It works much better on that than co2. With co2 it had a ton of hammer bounce and not likely to be able to shoot through a wet paper bag and it wasted more co2 than it used. 2000 psi straightened it out. It now promises to be a formidable pest getter ridder of-er.

    Things I would have changed:

Forget co2 in this gun it just plain don't work well. Use hpa.

    What others should know:

Good guun if you feed it the right propellant.

This gun is wonderful to go out and target shoot. this gun is wonderful too to go out and shoot pests. i shoot medium sized and small sized games such as dove, starlings, racoons, and much more that is medium sized or small sized games. This gun is almost related to the talon ss.

    Things I would have changed:

So far everything to me is just fine.

    Things I liked:

I took this gun hunting today for the first time. I bought the .22. It actually out performed a Marlin model 60 .22 LR and took care of a nasty muskrat problem the Marlin was missing. I used Predator pellets. When I recovered thew body It was very obvious it only took one shot to end the muskrat's day.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. the gun performed beautifully, even running on co2. I did notice the gun is almost useless in a Michigan winter when I tried it. There was almost not enough air pressure with it so cold to fire the gun.

    What others should know:

The gun is fairly anemic in winter.

Wonderful gun, My first pcp, I love this gun right now I use it for plinking, sparrow shooting, rat control, hunt the local varmit animals like opossom and small ground hogs.

    Things I would have changed:

The only real problem is that it is a little loud, But a few extra decibels are nothing when a gun is this accurate.

    Things I liked:

The accuracy after I added a second barrel ring to the front.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer an after market trigger. This one took a fair amount of work with a Dremel tool to lighten and smooth out the trigger pull. Would love to see one offered in brass.

    What others should know:

The barrels come dirty. Turn it upside down and put it in a padded vise so you don't get any solvent in the air hole and clean the hell out of it.

    Things I liked:

It looked somewhat familiar when I got a look at the thing. I pulled out my 2260 and found out exactly why this is about the lowest prices PCP gun I could find. It's basically a Crosman 2260 with a bit beefier power plant. As far as accuracy, I can pile lead one on top of the other all day long as long as I keep co2 in the tank, which is extremely easy to do. For the near future, I am using co2 until I can afford a pump. Even with co2 it's a formidable gun. Put a nice sight on it and it will deal with pests very efficiently when teamed up with Predator International Polymags. I can't wait until spring and I can let this gun off the chain!

    Things I would have changed:

Everyone cries about the trigger because it is plastic. In all reality this is a good thing. Did you ever put your bare finger on a metal trigger when shooting at 20 degrees or less? not too comfortable. Plastic triggers are better if you live in a cold environment... IMHO.

    What others should know:

If you don't have the bucks to afford this, get a 2260 with a bolt upgrade.... same gun, little less power. Want the power of a .22 rimfire with none of the Goverment control of your second amendment involved with buying one, get the Discovery. It's only 50 fps slower than my Marlin .22 rimfire for about the same price if you get the pump and add on a nice scope.

    Things I liked:

I'm measuring this gun against a Mossberg 100ATR, which is a regular bullet firing gun capable of dropping an elephant at 200 yards or more. That being said, I like the weight of this gun better. It's far lighter than my MOssberg and many of my springers as well. I got the .22 which I'm measuring some of my other .22 rifles including one rim fire. It matches up equally with my .22 rim fire, the action is similar.... bolt action, speed of pellet is close to the .22 rimfire, and definitely has matches a TF 99 premier, but without being as heavy. I like the wood stock, it's an outright beautiful gun, but might look a bit better with a good glossy finish. The stock is a very good hard wood that took being dropped accidentally The sights are excellent and almost lined up with a laser boresighter right out of the box. Elevation had to be raised a tiny bit to be dead on to my eyes. Filling with CO2 was so simple I bet an 8 year old could do it. As far as the dual fuel, sterling idea. CO2 bottles are much easier to pack than a hand pump. The co2 filler appears impossible to overfill When it reaches the top of the co2 full mark, that's all it will take. Overall, it appears to be very well engineered which is surprising to me since Made in America has long since lost it's value.

    Things I would have changed:

The thing is very loud to my ears. Indoors it sounds like one of the nail guns the roofers are using a few houses away from me. I might also put on a nice gloss finish on the stock to bring up the eye appeal, but then again, a shiney gun in the woods wouldn't be such a good idea.

    What others should know:

If you are hunting with one of these I fully believe this gun will outclass every other gun you own. I have a rather extensive collection. My Ruger airhawk has always been my go to gun for pest control... until today. I think I'll be hunting with my Discovery this year. It appears to be my go to gun now. It's too far in the winter to hunt now in spring I might update this. My advice right now is use CO2 if you have a large range you hunt, if in the back yard only, the hand pump might be better. Oh, and I like predator pellets with this but they are a tight fit in the breach. I tossed the crosman pellets that came with it since crosman ammo is on my "do not buy" list for lack of quality causing damage to one of my favorite guns. I like gamo raptors, or platinums to bring up muzzle velocity.
