Very accurate with Daisy pointed and Crosman Premier hollow points up to 20 yds (the furthest I can shoot on my property). Very quiet. Overall pretty solid feel. Easy to pump.

The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 overall is that there is a wee bit of play between the buttstock and receiver. This is common to Daisy's 880 too, which is made exactly the same as the 22SG, except it (880) has plastic receiver/stocks. It doesn't hamper the effectiveness of the gun, but it's sort of annoying. Could be easily fixed with some patience and JB Weld.

The scope that comes with this gun is actually quite nice. Very clear, good focus, and it has a nice feel to it (doesn't feel cheap, in other words). Nice aluminum mounts, aluminum adjustment covers, and good, firm click adjustments. This gun/scope combo is the perfect backyard pest popper. Another low cost/good quality setup from Daisy.

Weight and length. Can carry around woods and short length keeps you very mobile through all the trees and brush. Very accurate.

an indexing magizine similiar to powerline 953 would be awsome for follow up shots. would allow you to keep eyes on game while reloading if you miss with first shot.

Great multi-pump air rifle even for adults. Is usually my first choice to take early season squirrel hunting in Ohio(which does allow airguns for hunting small game) while weather is still mild. Use well balanced pellets. Pellets like crosman copperhead that are a little nose heavy may want to rotate forward while loading causing pellet to be pushed into chamber backwards. Almost did it a few times while reloading with eyes on game.

Most accurate airgun I own. Quiet. Good power. Easy to pump. Light weight. Good all around, versatile air rifle.

Better quality stock and finish.

H&N Baracuda Match Pellets 21.14gr....work the best.

this is a great gun for hunting and target shooting i set up a target that was about 30 yards away and the bullseye was 1 inch by 1 and i shot it five times 4 of the shots went through the same hole and 1 shot went about 1 centimeter away

the stock got loose, fixed up with socket wench. sold my dasiy 1000s cause 22. cal is far better with any pellet.

I bought this pellet gun to deal with some pesky critters around the house and so far it has worked pretty well. At 20 yards i was able to shoot a dime sized group of 5 shots once i got it sighted in, much better then what i expected. One other thing i like is how quiet it is compared to other multi-pump air guns. It only makes a muffled pop compared to my old 760 pumpmaster.

It would be nice this gun actually shot at 600fps. Right now it only shoots at around 530fps with 14.3gr crosman premiers.

If you plan on using this gun for hunting or pest control always take headshots and don't try to shoot anything larger then a rabbit. Also keep the range limited to around 25 yards or else you'll just end up wounding things which isn't a good idea.

I am very satisfied with the Daisy 22SG and Pyramyd Air. The order process was great. The size and weight of the 22SG is nice. It looks good next to my Henry 22 rimfire. It is easy to pump and accurate with or without the scope. The power is what I'd hoped for. A good buy for the $$$.

I guess I'm old school but would feel more comfortable with a metal bolt and pump handle but I can't say any negatives about the way it is. The right side of the forearm is a little rough compared to the left side and stock but not a major issue.

Flat nosed pellets are hard to feed. Use pointed or round nosed for easy feeding.

The weight of the gun is nice, comfortable, caulking the rifle is easy, my 7 year old grandson can use this gun. Accuracy of the gun is great 10 out of 10 shots I have found will find the bullseye within 60 ft

Trigger pull is tight, loading of the gun is a little frustrating with the scope mounted

all in all it is a fine gun

This is a very reliable gun and very accurate. It is easy to pump, requiring almost no effort at all, and the scope is perfect. it is great for taking out birds, squirrels and just about any other small game I can think of.

This gun is accurate and reliable and is a good price. You should buy pointed pellets for the best accuracy.
