    Things I liked:

Unbelievably accurate for the price. Strong enough for small game from a close distance.

    Things I would have changed:

...and I did. The trigger isn't that smooth.

    What others should know:

Head shots are a must at more than 50 yards.

    Things I liked:

I just got my new big cat which is replacing my old one. It's better than before. it has quite a kick to it, relatively easy to cock, qand I found the trigger to be decent.

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not a fan of these scopes. Until I can get something else it will do though.

    What others should know:

This thing is a super value with a ton of power for a tiny price. You can't go wrong with a big cat on your side.

    Things I liked:

Super lightweight, super easy cocking effort. Big power, great groups for a springer.

    Things I would have changed:

    a little less kick,

    What others should know:

buy this it is so cheap and you really cannot go wrong dude

    Things I liked:

The Big Cat 1250 is a quality made and very nice piece for the money. Overall cunstruction very well done!

    Things I would have changed:

The scope is not as bad as some make it out to be, could be stronger or better but very sufficient for this piece. The trigger is a little stiff upon arrival but can be adjusted to fit the gun, gail again, a better can be purchased but relay ok.

    What others should know:

Haven't shot enough rounds to really verify accuracy and consistency of the scope but will write more on evaluation. By the way, the first few rounds may sound like your Moose hunting, but gets a little quieter as more rounds are fired.

    Things I liked:

really really accurate i can hit the bottom of a pop can every time from 80 yards also have put about 3000 pellets through it with no problems it feels a little slower but i can still drill tacks with ease

    Things I would have changed:

after about 6 months i dropped the charlie de tuna upgrade trigger in this it really helped but didnt increase accuracy to much also the scope that came with it broke so i put a NC star 3x9-40 on it and it has held up for quite some time now

    What others should know:

If you buy this get ready for an awesome time when i first opened the bow and started to sight it in and just shoot i sat there all afternoon shooting 1/4" groups at 20 yards then ran out of pellets but very very pleased with this gun

    Things I liked:

Same hole accuracy at 25 yards, good velocity, comfortable stock

    Things I would have changed:

Crap scope and mounts, no iron sights, loud twang from spring

    What others should know:

I've put 2500 rounds through mine. With Crosman Premier, I get same hole accuracy at 25 yards. This rifle is surprisingly accurate. I often pick off Tums tablets with ease. The scope is terrible on this rifle. I've used blue Loctite, torqued to spec and shimmed it. It still drifts steadily to the point that it requires re-adjusting after only 10 shots. It refuses to hold zero under any circumstances. If you want this rifle, you have to take the price of a new scope and mount into the final price. The value drops a bit, but it's a solid rifle. Knock $30 off and sell it without a scope and it's a steal.

    Things I liked:

Everything except the trigger. Light weight, power and shoots straight as an arrow.

    Things I would have changed:

TRIGGER TRIGGER TRIGGER. It is the worst. Very hard pull. Scope is no good. I put it on my boys Crosman raven. Works good for a 7 year old shooting 30' away.

    What others should know:

I have the 1250 and couldn't be happier with it. Waiting for the jerry de tuna trigger to show up. God I hope it helps. I would love to try this in the nitro piston version. This gun is on the money. 3x12 or 4x16 40 scope works really good. Definitely use a heaving pellet. I like the Jsb exact monster diabolo pellets, hard hitting and accurate.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is a honey. I have mine with a 3 x 9x 40 shoots super well. Gamo triggers are heavy release triggers that get better with time ,very reliable and safe. This rifle gives me consistent shots in the 900 fps range using 7.4 g- a little lower with 7.9- both pellet are good and real good buys at Pyramyd . Buy a lot of pellet this baby will get you hooked from the first shot. The rifle is not heavy great for kids, but always with adult supervision ,it's NOT A TOY in any sense of the word. My grandson loves it he's 11 and nicknamed this rifle the viper sniper. Very good grouper 25 plus yards.

    Things I would have changed:

    NOTHING

    What others should know:

Its a real good deal for entry level airguns, super cool looks, and a great shooter. Very easy to maintain and repair on this model springs and piston seal are easy to find at Maccari a site that sell parts. I've had mine for quite some time, and the kids & I have put thousands of shots through this Big Cat, keeps on shooting fine. Lots of fun for plinking or a real "good bye" tool for rodents and othe small pests. Bravo for Gamo on this one

    Looks great, but...

    Things I would have changed:

At least the rings for the scope.

    What others should know:

Well, I decided to lube-tune the internals at 600 shots. I found that the NEW mainspring was severly canted like an S... Can not see it lasting long... Plastic guides too... Any input by users that have shot the big cat more than 5,000 shots??? Please post on this. Not a happy shooter.

    Things I would have changed:

THE ONLY THING THAT I WOULD CHANGE WOULDB BE THE SCOPE. NEED A BETTER ONE. THE GUN IS LOULD WHEN SHOT, NEED TO BE MADE QUIETER

    What others should know:

THE TRIGGER NEEDS TO BE MADE OF SOMETHING ELES ,NOT PLASTIC.PUT THE SAFTY SWITCH SOMEWHERE ELSES ON THE GUN .

i hve this in .22 and i love it. accuracy is great in it. shoot about 5 shots in one hole at 50yard.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

you can use up to 32gr pellets in this gun but the speed slows down to about 700fps. but has twice the knock down power as a 14.5 goin 850fps

    Things I liked:

I have wanted a 22 pellet gun since i was 11 and 33 years later i got the best pellet gun i think is on the market. shot through my garage at 35 feet and i have a 1/2"wood back target to shoot my co2's with.

    Things I would have changed:

send open sight's with the gun not just the scope.

    What others should know:

watch out this thing has a punch. i'm a gunsmith so i have a crono and it dose do 1200 fps.

Great starter rifle. Find the best pellet and it can really deliver.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger. I have the plastic trigger. The second stage is as bad as everyone says. I want to upgrade but I'll wait until the warranty is over be for I do.

    What others should know:

Use the scope stop holes. My scope always moved until i used the stop holes.

    Things I liked:

This is my first air gun over 600 feet per second, and it has a lot more power to it. It is surprisingly accurate from what I can tell for how fast it shoots. Its got all the power you would ever need from a pellet gun, range, and accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

I like everything about this gun except for its lack of iron sights. That would be a really nice feature for it. Also the factory oil in it smells kinda bad the first 100 shots or so, and is noticeably louder with the factory oil in it still.

    What others should know:

Dont get the light pba ammo or anything under say 8 grains only so it will shoot faster. Your accuracy will suffer and it will be too loud for some people. The 12 grain pellets im using has a nice kinda thud to it when I shoot it instead of a loud harsh whip you get with the light weight pellets. Also due to the factory oil's smell and loudness, get a cleaning rod and scrub that barrel down right when you get it. After you get that factory oil out it sounds no louder than the 600fps multi pump rifles ive had. Also I put a bigger scope on this, and the recoil ended up sliding the scope slightly further and further back till it broke off the peice at the end of the rail. I had to glue it back on. So if you want a different scope, use the same mounting brackets that came with this gun. It has a peg sticking out of the rear bracket so it does not slide back on the shots. Other than that, its a great gun

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is very acceptable for a spring piston air gun and once again, way to go Gamo for your steel barrel. Gamo truly has Thier competitors beat when it comes to the barrel. If you ever run out of pellets you can always use the gun as a club.

    Things I would have changed:

The optics that came with my Gamo do not adjust elivation. This was probably do to ruogh UPS shipping though, because the scope was fairly nice for something that just comes with the gun.

    What others should know:

If you enjoy power and fast reloading this is your gun. Oh and the barrel smokes after shots.

It's a powerful, accurate rifle. reponds well and not too heavy. It perform well in the field. Takes down rabbit and squirrels without any problem using heavy pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd like to see it in a .22
