    Things I liked:

Power, low vibration due to gas cylinder. GAMO customer service! All of my issues listed below were corrected IMMEDIATELY by GAMO, all it took was one simple phone call & all of my issues were corrected. I did not bother Pyramid Air with the issues because I believe these things were not their fault and the manufacturer should be held responsible, NOT the retailer. GAMO customer service is excellent.

    Things I would have changed:

    Overall quality

    What others should know:

    1) Barrel's cocking lever hinge pin failed at second shot. Pin "walked" out of its proper location & cut a HUGE gouge into the inside of my brand new rifle's stock. It also cut the end off of the forearm rubber grip panel's nipple that holds it onto the stock, so the panel began hanging down from the last remaining nipple. 2) The GAMO scope that was supplied with the rifle failed after 3 days (less that 100 shots fired) & refused to remain zeroed in. The clear & amber plastic lens caps inside the scope's lens covers fell out. One dropped out the very first time I removed the scope cover. * Even though I had these initial problems, GAMO made it incredibly easy for me to have each issue corrected. Since GAMO cares about their customers & my rifle does shoot fantastic, I'd buy another one.

    Things I liked:

I officially chronagraphed Bone Collector .177 Bull Whisper with PBA 5.4 grain raptor, with a chrony master F-1, and indeed it shot 1300 fps nearly every shot, give or take 10 fps, I also shot a red flame 7.9 grain pellet and it hit 1000 fps consistently. I shot at a target 15 meters away and nealed on one leg and just aimed through chrony, I shot a grouping between both rounds no larger than a quarter. I shot center of target every time just nealing on one leg and shooting, no other assistance. The pba pellets also penetrated a inch and a half phone book taped to a door with target on it. This gun is great I just bolted on scope and made no adjustments and its's shooting this straight, I've also shot a target 60 yds out consistently with a very tight grouping. So those people who complain about accuracy and true fps must have received defective guns.

    Things I would have changed:

    none

    Things I liked:

Very light weight, easy to carry. Stock would seem to be more durable than wood.

    Things I would have changed:

A better noise reduction feature...uncommonly loud, even for a .177. The front deco inserts must be removed by prying in order to loosen/remove the front stock mounting screws. Once they've been popped out they won't stay when reinstalled...would be nice if the gun had easier and less destructive access to these screws that must be removed for cleaning. Also, there's no exploded parts view in the "manual", even doesn't say how to access the stock mounting screws hidden under the deco pieces. Only reference is "Do not disassemble". How does Gamo expect us to clean and oil the thing?

    What others should know:

Has classic 3/8" dovetail scope mounts with only a screw in the rear mount to stop the scope from creeping back. The screw is soft and will wear or snap off prematurely. No way to install better scope mounts like Weaver mounts without taking it to a machine shop, then you void the warranty. Surprised a big company like Gamo doesn't make their more expensive rifles readily adaptable to a non slip scope mount...so important in high velocity air guns.

    Things I liked:

I like the power this gun has. The design and appearance are quite nice. its light weight.

    Things I would have changed:

I would put mounts on it for shoulder sling and or mounts for bipod for quick attachmment

    What others should know:

Ok maybe it was just mine but the first few shoots outta this gun every pellet broke the sound barrier RWS lead point, gamo armoured, crossman pointed and gamo redfire, the All cracked off until bout 20 shots and things started to quiet down.

    Things I liked:

Power and accuracy. It is light weight, but handles well.

    Things I would have changed:

Dump the not very useful scope and reduce the price. I mounted a Leapers 4-12x40 and that is doing the job.

    What others should know:

It is a bit noisier than advertised, especially the first few shots which cause the lubricant to explode, but it quiets down ... a bit. I have not had accuracy problems at all, though the trigger is a bit tricky. You have to slowly pull through. When I do, I can drop jays at 50 yards and put pellets in a 1x1" garden stake at 35 yards. I rest my support hand on the top of a window sash, but then I'm an old codger.

    Things I liked:

Good balance, slight muzzle heavy which aids in control. Trigger ok, metal would give cleaner pull. Not noisy with lead pellets. IGT is a nice feature.

    Things I would have changed:

Length of pull is somewhat long. Backup iron sights would be nice to have. Scope is basically adequate but sketchy to mount and adjust.

    What others should know:

Order lots of pellets with the gun. It's fun to shoot with great accuracy!

    Things I liked:

I am very imprssed with this "new generation" Gamo airgun! The IGT gas-piston system is smooth and powerful, and a huge improvement over the "twang", noise, etc. associated with spring-pistons... The new trigger is another huge improvement over the older version. All of this combine with the relative light weight of this airgun to create an easy-to-carry airgunthat has GREAT accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

Sling mounts would be nice when the airgun is used for hunting..?

    What others should know:

In preliminary testing, with a number of different pellet designs, the airgun consistently produced groups less than 1/2" at 10 yards -- that is as good as any airgun I own!

You can't beat this rifle for the money. Several of the features are only found on more expensive rifles.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better scope

    What others should know:

Spend the money and shoot quality pellets. Don't do like so many and blame a rifle for the junk you choose to shoot through it. Feed this rifle right and it won't disappoint.

    Things I liked:

Style has a "big gun" feel

    Things I would have changed:

Molded plastic stock and trigger guard has a cheap look and feel to it. Barrel is plastic, not steel. Has a really cheap look. The included scope is garbage.

    What others should know:

    The gun is LOUD.

    Things I liked:

Simple, easy to use. Good power, little recoil and light for carrying around for periods of time. Good accuracy within 30 yards after a proper sight in.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing major. The option of open sights.

    What others should know:

Had this rifle for over a month now and it is a very nice rifle for the price. Hits hard and acurate power within thirty yards for a .177. Would love own a .22 in this as well. I've found the Gamo rocket pellets to work best for this rifle so far, especially on garden crows. It is louder than expected at first, but the sound quiets down after a good break in and cleaning. I'm shotting everyday with it after work and loving every minute of it. Only gave it a four on accuracy because it's twitchy with the trigger in the second stage.

    Things I liked:

Smooth break-barrel. Consistent accuracy once sighted in. Basic scope. Comfortable to use. Relatively quiet for the power.

    Things I would have changed:

Iron sights would be a nice addition. Include better scope.

    What others should know:

Great value, consistent air gun. Basic scope, but effective. Fairly quiet compared to similar power level air guns. Gas piston operation is smoother than spring piston.

    Things I liked:

Light-weight, Stock is awesome, trigger is ok, very powerful (.177) breaks sound barrier with certain pellets. Very accurate with the right setup and technique. My first bit of testing was not yielding the results i wanted and i was getting worried. But after a few days practicing my worries are gone. This gun shoots really well. I'd upload a target picture if that was an option.

    Things I would have changed:

Could be a little quieter, scope that comes with it is a throwaway as others have mentioned.

    What others should know:

I had a Gamo Big Cat a couple years ago and swore never to buy another Gamo. But this gun was available locally at a great price and had what i was looking for in speed, weight, Gas Piston, and looks. The local store promised to take it back if it wasnt as accurate as i wanted so that sealed the deal and i go Round 2 with Gamo. Really wanted a higher $ German made gun. This one is definetly working for me. I mounted a 4-16x x40 Centerfire Scope with Mildot Reticule and Adjustable Objective, adjusted the trigger as loose as it would go and have shot cloverleaf groups at 15yds with Crosman Premier Hollow Points. It shot OK with gamo red fire pellets which i'd read were supposed to work very well in these. Daisy pellets, dont even go there - shot groups all over the place. The el-cheapo Crosmans that i had for years and almost threw away a few times ended up shooting wonderfully in this gun but only after said changes above. Shooting off hand is challenging. I've sighted in using sand bag rest and got clover leaf groupings by pushing the front of the stock down onto the sand bag and holding it firmly while breathing completely out and squeezing off a shot so slowly that when it does fire i am surprised. This technique allowed me to hit the center of the target with 5 shots, every shot touching. Very excited to see how it will shoot at 30-50yds although for squirrel hunting 30 will probably be as far as i need to shoot. The bone collector stock is very grippy/nice!

    Things I liked:

Comfortable stock, easy to point and shoot. Very good power. Accurate at closer ranges, 10-15yrds. I have not yet got in enough longer distance shooting with the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it quiet like the claim. It is one of the loudest rifles I have. Much louder than my CFR Whisper.

    What others should know:

Know it it not a quiet rifle. It is a good shooter however.
