    Things I liked:

Well everything other than the non slip grips, they seem a little loose.

    Things I would have changed:

    Optional iron sights.

    What others should know:

This is a great gun, ive googled some reviews on this before i bought it and it wasn't looking too good but i kept seeing "blah blah (bad review) stick to American or German made guns" so *in my opinion* everyone just likes giving Gamo a hard time because theyre mad they spent 100-200$ more on a gun with the same performance. Bottom line, great gun for a little less than great price.

    Things I liked:

Light weight, easy to cock, good looking rifle

    Things I would have changed:

    Lighter trigger, lower price

    What others should know:

Much louder than anticipated and not as accurate as I had hoped. I have shot 300 or so rounds and cleaned it a couple of times which helped the accuracy. I have used Crosman and Benjamin hollow points. It seems more accurate with Crosman pellets. My Crosman Optimus rifle is much more quiet and more accurate. I am hoping it will get better. It is a really good looking rifle and light. I have not had a problem with the scope. Overall I am satisfied but I think it is about $60 too high. Pyramydair has great service. I would not buy from any other company.

    Things I liked:

Very light with smooth trigger. I really love the look and feel of the rifle. It's a shame I could not get shots to group. The gun is very quiet as long as you use lead pellets. The PBA pellets will wake up your neighbors as they are travelling faster than the speed of sound.

    Things I would have changed:

If inaccuracy is a characteristic of this rifle then Gamo needs to go back to the drawing board. If I just got a lemon then many people will love this gun. I tried two different mounts, two different scopes,5 different types of pellets, and two different sets of rings. I could not even get an entire 5 shot group on the paper from 20 yards. My inexpensive Winchester 1028 is more accurate.

    What others should know:

I ended up returning this gun and I purchased the Diana RWS 34p striker combo from Pyramidair. I'm now in heaven. Review to follow.

    Things I liked:

The power is amazing...flings wadcutter pellets super fast still makes the crack of a .22 even without using the PBA pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

The accuracy is not what I would expect after the money I paid for this rifle. I believe most of the issues are from the scope that comes with it. I got a 3-9x40 Barska and now at 30 yds I can keep a nickel sized group.

    What others should know:

You just have to find the EXACT pellet that shoots tight groups out of this rifle. I went through 6 different brands before I found mine.

good trigger, accuracy is right on with the PBA pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

i would like to see a metal trigger guide on the gun.

    What others should know:

the scope that came with it is ok, but i switch to a Centerpoint scope purchase here at Pyramyd Air.

It's very accurate at 75 feet, light weight, powerful enough to take out a squirrel at 75 feet,Very reliable, easy to cock, and improved trigger

    Things I would have changed:

    Scope stinks

    Gun is light and powerful

    Things I would have changed:

Scope and sound rating. Although I only have a few rounds through this unit (and have heard that it quiets down after a few hundred rounds, we will see) it is much louder than expected. I did clean the barrel like some suggested but my CO2 is much quieter.

    What others should know:

Not sure how these guns are rated for sound but there should be a standard.

    Things I liked:

Accurate at distance greater than 75 feet, powerful, lightweight, nice trigger action, easy cocking, several brands of pellets work great with this gun, zeroed in after 4 shots using my Caldwell Lead Sled Rifle Shooting Rest. There's not too much kick and it's easy to shoot in a standing position.

    Things I would have changed:

    Scope is trash

    What others should know:

I'm experienced with pellet rifles and zeroing in scopes, I own several and this is by far the best. Also own its predecessor the spring action .22 Bone Collector, the nitro piston is a great improvement over that model. I purchased this gas powered .22 Bone Collector to replace my Benjamin trail np xl 1500 nitro piston air rifle which is the most inaccurate rifle I’ve ever worked with. Nitro Piston pellet rifles do loose some power after a while but not nearly as much as the spring actions, this one is really good.

    Things I liked:

The Power, Accuracy, and Consistency is remarkable: Last month, I purchased the Bone Collector Bull Whisper .22 Cal to replace my Benjamin Trail NP XL1500 .177 because it was just not as accurate as I needed and fell short of my expectations. I was able to site in my Bone Collector Bull Whisper .22 within 4 shots at 50 feet. The first shot using PBA pellets that came in the box broke the sound barrier but has not since. The improvement over its predecessor, the Gamo Bone Collector .22 spring action which I also own is amazing. This pellet rifle is extremely accurate at 75 feet. I’m getting quarter sized groups at that distance. It carries a heck of a punch at that distance as well. At 75 feet an 11 to 14 gr pellet will go through two layers of wood siding. The improved trigger is nice and smooth, cocking the gun is not difficult, and the gun is light enough to hold free standing. It’s just a really good pellet rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I didn’t like about the gun was the scope which I replaced the first night. Now with a better scope this gun is my goto when a varmint crosses my property line.

    What others should know:

If you purchase this beast, consider the Gamo Match .22 Cal, 15.43 Grain Wadcutters, The Gamo Rocket .22 Cal 14.3 Grains, or the RWS Hobby .22 Cal, 11.9 Grain Wadcutters. They all work very well with this gun. I’ve found that there are several other brands that work well with this gun as well but those seem to group better so far in my test. It is also a bit louder but not enough to worry about.

    Things I liked:

This rifle was comfortable to shoot, it looked good, and I liked the synthetic stock.

    Things I would have changed:

I had a very difficult time to get any kind of accuracy at 20 yards. I shot RWS, Crosman pointed, crosman hollowpoints, gamo rockets, and PBA platinum pellets. Using a bench and sandbags the RWS groups were best, but most were 4-8" spread (about 100 shots of each). The lack of expected accuracy is why this rifle got returned.

    What others should know:

Pyramid Airs online and telephone customer service is the best. Also Pyramid's customer care policies are geared to keep customers happy. I will return here for any and all future purchases.

    Things I liked:

A very powerful gun and a great value for the money, good starting gun and the gas piston is very useful. The trigger pull is incredibly smooth and works well on small game.

    Things I would have changed:

It's defiantly a throw away scope, I just got this about a week ago and i keep having problems with it. It's also almost too light, I know it doesn't really make a difference but I like when the guns have a little more weight to them.

    What others should know:

Works well with JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Express .22 Cal 14.3 grain domed pellets.

Good quality gun shot 200 shots starting to improve accuracy smooth trigger and it is plastic powerful also and nice and light

    Things I would have changed:

Scope is not so good trigger would be better if it was like aluminium

    What others should know:

Keep the barrel clean and the end whisper part gets filled with smoke so make sure u get the full capability. This is a very nice gamo I recommend this to anyone looking fore a good all around rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like it to have iron sights. Scope is tough to sight in.

    What others should know:

Overall it is a very nice rifle for the money. Very fun to shoot.

    Things I liked:

The weight, feel and balance of the gun are all very good and the trigger is crisp. The bull barrel provides a nice large grip for cocking and the noise level is acceptable with rounds that are sub sonic.

    Things I would have changed:

Other reviewers have complained about the scope and heeding these comments I purchased a UTG 4X32 along with the rifle. It is not possible to sight in the UTG 4X32 on this rifle without an adjustable rail. See the next comment section. Also the bull barrel is too heavy for the barrel latch mechanism. Once cocked, the slightest bump such as laying the rifle up on a rest, will cause the barrel to drop back open. Once you are aware of the problem it's manageable by just being gentle. But Gamo needs to beef up the latch to correct this.

    What others should know:

This rifle has what I consider a pretty extreme barrel droop issue. Clamping a straight edge to the barrel and measuring along the top of the receiver reveals a full 2mm difference along the receiver length. This is huge when trying to zero a scope. The supplied Gamo scope has enough elevation to correct for it, barely, but the UTG did not. 2mm is way too much to shim so I am shopping for an adjustable rail with enough elevation adjustment to fix the problem.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate gun, good trigger, light weight, solid, and feels good to shoot. It's a lot of fun and it hits hard.

    Things I would have changed:

This is not a quiet gun easily a 3+ medium on the scale they use. The scope is very basic and if your going to use this for hunting it's a joke. Trigger could be a little lighter. Mine doesn't handle loading heavier grain pellets very well if at all.

    What others should know:

It's a good gun but not at all whisper when shot.

    Things I liked:

So far, I am very impressed with this rifle. Feels solid and is a huge improvement over the older spring models. Love the stock.

    Things I would have changed:

My only complaint is the scope rings. None of my big-bore rifle tricks have been able to keep the scope from sliding back. Simple solution if you're buying this rifle - plan on upgrading the rings.

    Things I liked:

Easy to sight in. Powerful and accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Better protect the product inside it's factory package. The box contained only a piece of poly under the barrel that the barrel had punched thru exposing the barrel to any kind of mishandling. One of the mounting screws in the scope mount was cross threaded. I repaired it.

    Things I liked:

Nice, lightweight, fairly quiet air-rifle of supreme quality.Loves the platinum PBA rounds supplied(mine is in .22 Cal.),but does well with RWS lead pells also.I haven't tried anything else in it,but know searching for the right pellet can make a difference in a precision target/accurate rifle,or a scatter-gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Do away with the scope,or have it avail. as an opt. pkg.Suitably scoped, this air rifle is awesome!

    What others should know:

Love the green color & the non-slip insertions. The recoil pad is alright too, just seems moot on an air-gun(especialy if you are used to fireing big bore cal's firearms. The sound reducer tube certainly assists in cocking efforts, just don't have a D.B.A. meter to test it's actual sound reduction-gas piston helps i know for sure.

Rifle was accurate for me at 50 yards wether using PBA or lead pellets. Trigger is smooth, gun is nice and light. I would highly recommend this rifle for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

automatic safety would be nice, Don't know why gamo hasn't incoporated this into their guns.
