    Things I liked:

The power, the accuracy (see the crono pics, they tell the story)

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger has a little more curve than I like and it pulls rather hard. The barrel pivot screw requires attention more frequently than most of my other rifles.

    What others should know:

See the target photo, it was shot with a spring powered Hatsan. Pretty much 20 shots thru one 3/8" diameter hole. The Vortex pistons are easier to shoot. I wish I had one in 177. My 22 Vortex is awesome. These are very well built air rifles. Solid steel construction oh and they shoot real good. The 3 x 9 x 32 Scope is a huge improvement over the scopes that normally come with a rifle at this price point. It is not a great scope but is very usable. I have 2 of the the 177 springers and the 22 and the 25 Vortex piston in this platform. The vortex rifles is smoother and has less felt recoil and zero spring torque. They are all equally accurate when shot correctly. The 25 cal. crono's the heavy 27.9 grain Benjamin pellets @ 626 fps. This carries a large amount of energy to whatever they happen to run into. This is 4 times the weight of a 177 pellet. When that huge ball of lead finds its target, something is going to die.

    Things I liked:

    .25 cal

    Things I would have changed:

They need to stop wasting money on the scope. My reticle has rotated 180 degrees within 10 or so shots

    What others should know:

Seems to have lost a good bit of power and has a horrible grinding noise when cocking

    Things I liked:

The feel of the gun is great. It is just a little heavy but I believe that helps on the stability and reduces recoil. The accuracy is getting better. I can hold a group the size of a half dollar. The scope was not that great. I purchased a better scope and wow the difference. At 25 yards I am shooting thru a 1 by piece of lumber(1x6). That is with 14.3 grain pellets. I did a good cleaning of the gun before I shot it.

    Things I would have changed:

It has a long trigger pull. It says it is a 2-stage trigger. Why would make a 2 stage trigger?? When the rifle is cocked, the trigger should be ready.

    What others should know:

Shipment was great. Would purchase from PyramydAir again.

Well engineered and great quality. The scope is better quality than I would have expected for the price of this combo! Really this is set a great value.

    What others should know:

Cocking effort is more than I expected.

    Things I liked:

VERY HARD HITTER! Gun itself worth every penny. Has open sights so if scope fails I can pop it off & keep hunting/shooting

    Things I would have changed:

Still in the break in period... safety could be a lot more solid. She kicks & with this comes loose mount & rings. Havn'the introduced it to loctite yet so checking mounts/rings every few shots a must. Gonna upgrade scope asap. I believe any small game out to 45 yards is in trouble with the right setup & that's just being modest. I only have about 22 yards of my own... after that I have 2 make sure I can retrieve the "targets" only rated a 4 for accuracy b/c of my limited distance to sight in. The 28 yard squirrel was in my neighbors yard .

    What others should know:

For starters have a solid backstop! This gun is making my trail np .22 feel like a bb gun. mounting of the scope & sighting was done in 10 minutes. By 15 min i set up 5 plastic pepsi bottles 10 yrds out & left 5 topless bottles in 5 shots w/h&n crow magnums Round 1... .25 edge vortex(h&n crow magnum) vs. Squirrel 17 yRd out facing on fence. D.O.A. No kicking. No flipping around. No pulse when he hit the ground . Broke thru sholder exited trough spine. +1 .25 edge vortex. Round 2. .25 edge vortex(h&n crow magnum) vs. Squirrel 28 yrds out & 20' up in tree fork... already getting stiff by the time he hit the ground. +2 .25 edge vortex. Round #3 .25 edge vortex Vs. Sparrow 9th do out... what sparrow? undisputed winner hats and .25 edge vortex! I would be willing to bet that the downrange energy is greater or @ a minimum equal to my .22 Benjamin trail np.

    Things I liked:

Short, .22, powerful, smooth firing cycle, best iron sights I've seen on a cheapo air rifle globed front nice positive click rear sights, accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Front heavy, barrel droop (don't scope my rifles so it doesn't matter to me).

    What others should know:

I ordered this from pyramid air a month or so ago before setting up an acct so I probably will not be a verified buyer, I assure you I am. This is probably the best sub $100 break barrel you can find. It's my first grown up full sized air gun, was going to go with Remington tyrant xgp in .22 but couldn't find much info on it ( I ended up getting the xgp in .177 after buying this edge in .22) researched the crap out of entry level airguns and found nothing but praise for Hatsan... if you're on the fence on which $100 gun to buy pass the other guns up and buy the Hatsan.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much, I see a lot of complaints about the scope but I have bought 3 break barrel pellet guns from .17 .22 .25 and this is the best scope out of all 3. I sighted in this gun in 5 shots and next day was dropping squirrels at 40 yards! Great gun!

    What others should know:

Ignore the bad reviews, all break barrel air guns eventually loosen up after so many shots and you will always have to tighten bolts after 25-50 shots, experienced air gunners know this.

    Things I liked:

Small enough more like a youth, rifle ,so it's Perfect for a young kid like my ten year old kid very accurate, know let's see how it performs on regular use. Good quality nice design really lite, kind a chip plastic but for the price it's OK I will buy onother one. Plenty of power on a. 22 so I'll see on the .177 an remember this pyramid air your pro suppliers on this field, there the best!

    Things I would have changed:

The front plastic sight and a better scope

    What others should know:

Good quality ,great design ,plenty of punching power on a. 22

Very nice rifle! received my .25 cal today very well packed! removed all screws, and put blue lock-tight on screws, cleaned the barrel, and installed a hammers 3-9x30 air rifle scope and bore sighted the scope. using beeman silver arrow 21 grain pellet at 10 yards, three shots and bullseye!! very happy with this rifle especially for 100.00! get yourself one before the price goes up!!

    Things I would have changed:

scope is garbage! you should sell it without the scope that's it

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

I have a .22 springer...this is a vortex .25...it is smoother, less tempernental and more accurate, which makes it a lot more fun (nevermind the big hole it puts through both aides of a tin can!). GET ONE!

    Things I would have changed:

So far, i would put a better scope rail on as a standard feature. Second....hmmm...figure out a better way to toss a sling on it...I don't know...I'm stretching here! The gun is amazing for the money!

    What others should know:

I belong to several web pages devoted to airguns and break barrels. This is the winner on the posts for this year from my perspective. I gave it a try using 19.91 gr Hatsan Vortex pellets and am very happy.

    Things I liked:

This is a quality gas piston rifle which lets you begin to explore the possibilities of big bore air rifles without the expense and complexity of pcp rifles. It has good power and can put holes in sheet metal that my .22 steel eagle only dents using the 31 gr. H&N pellets. (no substitute for bullet mass) Have not scoped it yet, still in the breakin period so I can't comment on accuracy although initial impressions are positive.

    Things I would have changed:

The H&N pellets are a bit of a tight fit into the chamber, but this may be needed? The scope shot screws wiggled loose after 50 shots, needed re-tightening loctite would cure this.

    What others should know:

Buy this rifle, you won't be sorry!

terrible spring twang, made worse by light weight plastic stock. there are much better springers in this price range.
