    Things I liked:

This is a fun gun to shoot. It is very solid and seems to be very well made. Keep in mind it was designed to feel like an actual rifle while being fun and economical to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe try to make it a little more accurate even if it raises the price. Not sure if the internal mechanism can be refined or re-designed...

    What others should know:

I purchased the MCX and the regulated Air Venturi Adapter and tank - it fit perfectly and works very well. I have had 2 jams because I didn't do my job with a good complete trigger pull. Easily remedied by inserting a .17 cal carbon fiber cleaning rod down the barrel to lightly push the pellet back into the belt. Just remember that your trigger pull is also moving the belt that houses the pellets, so a good firm and complete pull is essential. I tested quite a few pellets with the MCX to find out what it shoots best. While testing I was limited to only 37 feet from the muzzle to the targets. But that really is about the range this rifle was designed for - fast plinking as fast as you can pull the trigger. I shot everything off of bags from a very stable position. Best was H&N Sport Baracuda Green 6.48gr and H&N Sport Field Target Trophy Green 5.56gr. Can't list all pellets here. Chrono results: 2600 psi tank: 508.6. 1900 psi tank: 476.0. Not sure why - maybe regulator is breaking in.

    Things I liked:

Well made rifle, good weight and feel. So far it has operated flawlessly . I use the tool to seat the pellets and have had zero problems. Trigger is much better than I had expected.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, it's fine as it is I suppose it would be nice if it was HPA "out of box" but that would cost a bit more initially.

    What others should know:

Buy lots of pellets (crosman destroyer work great) I bought the air Venturi 13ci tank also, I highly recommend this option if you have the capability to fill it, Your going to want to shoot this gun a lot (it's real fun and accurate ) and you'll burn thru some co2 carts I don't not think anyone will be dissatisfied with this product, I will at some time buy the MPX also because I like this one so much

    Things I liked:

I've only had this rifle for a couple days, but I have managed to put about 200 ends thru it. So far it works flawlessly . I own other high end air rifles and I love them all but.......this thing is an absolute hoot to shoot, When it's used the way it's supposed to be, (plinking, paper punching ) it's great ! No problem shooting 2" groups at 15 yards off a rest (quickly).

    Things I would have changed:

    I wouldn't change a thing

    What others should know:

Buy the extra mag , get the HPA tank and adapter if you have other guns that use HPA. You'll save yourself some mone on co2 Crosman destroyer pellets work fantastic in this gun

Mag. Having problems. Hard to get into the gun. Once in runs well.

    What others should know:

Blast to shoot. 30 rounds goes quick.

    Things I liked:

Great rapid fire pellet rifle, not a single jamb, the only problem was induced me from partially pulling the trigger then releasing it caused it to skip a "round" in the belt. After 5 magazines the CO2 tank is still going strong. Accuracy is very good once it is dialed in. 5 round groups at 12-15 yards (paced off) can be covered by dime with room to spare.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change a thing, except that I didn't have the patience to wait for the .22 cal. version to come out, and I am still waiting ! So, I will end up buying this twice, when the .22 version is finally on the market. I will wait till Pyramyd Air to carry them since they had the best price that I could find on this version.

    What others should know:

Order plenty of pellets, aid canisters, this is too fun to put down, and of course start building your backstop/pellet range in your basement as soon as you order, because shipping is quick ! You don't want to have no place to start shooting this when it arrives.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is SO close to the real thing that it is a true pleasure to use. I truly enjoy it's accuracy at 55 feet. The all metal construction lets you know that this is something to recon with. I have recommended this rifle to many of my friends to use between range time. The mag holds 30 pellets, perfect amount for target time.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have preferred more picatinny rails.

    What others should know:

Great rifle for the money, purchase a second clip to help with the magazine change out exersise.

    Things I liked:

Received my MCX a couple weeks ago and loved it out of the box. Very sturdy and solidly built. Very fun to shoot and no jams at all. I am using the seating tool that came with it and think that is probably critical. Buying the 88g CO2 disposable tanks got a bit expensive at 2 for $15 getting about 200 good shots out of each so I got an adapter for a 12oz CO2 tank that just screws into the base so I can attach a refillable tank and get 600+ good shots per refill. A good inexpensive way to modify if you plan on shooting a lot.

    Things I would have changed:

22 cal and a bit higher actual velocity would be nice...

    Things I liked:

Absolutely true to the MCX in 5.56x45. Incredibly accurate out of the box. I just used this unit to kill a rat at about 10 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

The quality of the finish on the pop up sights doesn't match the rest of the unit. The unit should come with two side picatinny rails and a lower rail as well. The rails are an absolute must as both flashlights and lasers will be very popular for this unit. A second magazine with at least 4 additional belts and some air lube oil would be a great addition to box opening experience.

    What others should know:

Take your time to follow the instructions for loading the magazine belt. I'm glad I did.

Likeness to real firearm, size and weight, accuracy, hard hitting co2, 88gr co2 provides upwards of 150 powerful shots maintaining high degree of accuracy, magazine 30 rd capacity. . .much more

    Things I would have changed:

    Lower price by $50

    What others should know:

Beyond my expectations. Find the right pellet for your needs and enjoy.

    Things I liked:

Sturdy metal construction with an AR feel. Quick and easy pellet loading. The included pellet seating tool works very well. Smooth and reliable firing cycle. No jams through first Air Venturi 90g co2 shooting 7 full mags loaded with RWS Hobby 7.0gr wadcutters. The reliable operation lets you blast through a full mag very quickly. This thing will bounce cans all over the yard.

    Things I would have changed:

SIG needs to include two mags and four belts. I did order another mag but they're on backorder right now. Accuracy could be improved. I added a UTG red/green dot which definitely helps compared to the iron sites but accuracy past 20 yards is just minute-of-beer-can. The plastic mag and butt stock doesn't bother me like some other reviewers. I won't be using the butt stock anyway. I'll be switching to a 12oz refillable bottle and adapter if this gun continues to run reliably.

    What others should know:

Just received my MCX this morning. I almost purchased an EBOS but the MCX has scratched my rapid-fire itch while shooting more accurate and heavier pellets instead of ricochet pron BBs. The double-action trigger indexes the ammo belt before every shot. To get consistent results you need to exercise good trigger discipline by fully depressing and releasing the trigger every time. I've been very conscious of this from the first shot and so far no jams through 7 mags. I was also considering the MPX. I don't think I would have been happy with that. This platform needs the added barrel length of the MCX for accuracy and velocity. It's still light and compact enough for walking around the yard destroying targets at 10-20 yards. I need to start drinking more beer because I'm running out of cans way too quickly. Most fun was putting half a mag into a gallon milk jug full of water. Turned that milk jug into a lawn sprinkler in seconds. Buy lots of ammo and co2. You're going to need it!

    Things I liked:

I really like this rifle for the following: It's a CO2 Semi-Auto pellet repeater (pretty unique), It's shoots at high velocity, It has a 30 round clip, It's made out of metal, it's looks cool, it shoots with good accuracy and power.

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not sure yet but I certainly would like to have two clips as standard because it sucks to stop and reload.

    What others should know:

Basically there's not too many semi-auto pellet shooting rifles and certain none with a 30 round clip. So the MCX stands out. If you want to see my unbox and shooting video in HD then search "Amateur Air Gunner" in YouTube. I can't attach it here.

    Things I liked:

I love this gun, it's very cool looking, very realistic looking, so far I have put 18 belts through it with out a single malfunction. I admit at first I had reservations about getting this gun after reading some of the reviews complaining about Co2 leaks and loose parts etc. My rifle is solid, not a single malfunction so far. I use the Air Venturi 90 gram Co2 tanks and will not use anything else, shot 249 pellets with the first tank and got 327 out of the second tank. The flip up sights were right on straight out of the box, I installed a FieldSport Red and Green Reflex Sight, it has 4 different reticles with 6 brightness levels, great looking sight.I have used RWS HOBBY and BEEMAN WADCUTTER COATED PELLETS and both worked very well. No co2 leaks, no loose parts, not one flaw, lots of fun shooting it. I highly recommend it. I'm so happy with this rifle that I decided to get the MPX as well and it has turned out to be more of the same great performance, both run like Swiss clocks.

    Things I would have changed:

I would not change a thing.

    What others should know:

I use the rifle mainly indoors at a range of 15 yards, but also some times outside at a range of 25 yards. It's not too loud, so it is backyard friendly but it is so realistic looking, I do not want the neighbors to see me outside with it. It hits very nicely at 25 yards with plenty of power, it will penetrate tough soup cans and plastic jugs. great for plinking but I would not use it for pest control. At 15 yards you can put pellets in the same hole all day long with this rifle, I take aim shots at 1 or 2 second intervals, I also like practicing double and triple taps, at 25 yards my eyes are not so good and the target becomes obscured by the red dot but a scope would cure that. I am extremely happy with my MCX, I get a lot of enjoyment out of it. highly recommend it. I cant wait until they make it in PCP

    Things I liked:

Look, weight, size, pop up sights, top rail, 30 rd rotary clip for magazine, realism, accuracy, appears to hit hard & straight. . . .can't find anything that I do not like at this point. So far it's all good.

    Things I would have changed:

Price out at $50 less or at least include 3 rotary belts (like available when ordered separate), slightly longer butt stock (1"). . . .nothing a real deal breaker.

    What others should know:

Just received today, unpacked and loaded air venturi 90gr co2 & 30rds of mixed brand 7-8gr pellets. Didn't gage, chrony, etc. anything but was just shooting to get an initial feel (sound, trigger pull, sights, overall handling). Everything went like text book, no issues to report. Will put several rounds thru it and do a follow/up comment. I have several brands of pellets to continue experimenting. Watched all video reviews and owner reviews. So far, I like what I see and have high hopes for this MCX. Overall pretty nice deal at PA with fast shipping upon target availability date.

    Things I liked:

Pyramydair shipped it QUICKLY even though it was showing SHORT supply!!!! Construction of gun seems sturdy. Good weight and balance. Shoots nice consistant groups on fresh CO2. Looking forward to a lot more shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

Hand guard picatinny rails should be on all sides not just top of hand guard. Front hand grip is goofy/uncomfortably short. Manual should cover more. Magazine should be metal same as ARs!! This is what MOST use as a stand in place of bipods while shooting... Hard practice to break when switching from AR to MCX...

    What others should know:

Use your pellet tool or you'll have issues. My CO2 doesn't seem to last as long as some of the other that reviewed gun. I have averaged 60-90(not consecutive eliminating CO2 freeze issue as fault) shots before I start getting flyaways, which I am assuming is being caused by lower pressure.

It feels real, but even a middle-aged weakling like me can hold it up. The belt inside the magazine works. I've had no jams. No issues at all. It's the most fun I've had shooting in a while.

    Things I would have changed:

    Extra belt for the magazine?

    What others should know:

    I used RWS Superdome pellets.

Just about everything from the box Sig packaged the gun in to the smallest detail. Being a Vietnam Veteran when I first laid eyes on the platform I felt I had purchased a work of art. The weight ,feel, balance, realistic appearance, accuracy and detailing are exceptional.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing as far as the platform is concerned. However would like to see the dark earth offered with just open sights. With 66 year old eyes and corrective lenses I have to resort to a high quality red dot to hit the center of target.Thats my problem not Sig's

    What others should know:

Take your time to break this product in. I put some 300 rounds through the belt before I achieved no jams. Follow instructions in owners manual to clear a jam youll have less problems removing magazine. The following chrony test was conducted indoors at 72 degrees with precaution taken not to record any muzzle blast.Using Sig pellets seven rounds were fired with the high and low discarded to provide 5 round average. 5.56 gr/ 714.22 average , 6.79 gr/668.64 average, 8.8 gr/640.27 average, 10.65 gr/546.3 average. The highest velocity I record was with Sig Ballistic Alloy 5.56 gr at 736.7. As far as I am concerned Sig is spot on with this airgun and it's joy to have in my collection. Thanks P/A for having it available and the opportunity to provide this review. My only problem now is,I have a spare mg and 3 new belts to break in. "That's a lot of fun Shootn"

    Things I would have changed:

Mine jammed so bad after 8 shots the mag would not come out and trigger would not function. The mag/belt feed needs to be improved so it does not jam so bad. Many other reviews have pointed this out and I would not recommend you spend your money on this.

    What others should know:

Pyramid Air did not respond to me when I wanted to send it back the day I got it. Ended up sending to Sig for assistance, and they sent a replacement upgraded version which I have not un-boxed, hoping PA would allow me to return to them and get a refund. Instead of working with me, they said essentially "too bad". I am sure others have had good experiences, but I feel PA did not meet its customer service commitment to me. Good luck to you.

    Things I liked:

When this airgun works, it's fun and accurate. I like using the larger co2 cans which prolong shooting time. It looks awesome and has authentic weight and feel.

    Things I would have changed:

THIS THING IS A JAM-O-MATIC. Tried 3 types of pellets, wad cutters, dome and even sig branded daggers. All would jam every other trigger pull. Then the magazine doesn't drop out. It's like the pellet get's caught in the mag well. Pyramid said to call sig so I've sent it in for them to look over.

    What others should know:

Would be excellent if it worked as advertised. Maybe I just got a lemon. We'll see.

This is an awesome gun to shoot. Once I got the right CO2 cartridge (the Air Venturis front threads are too big, the Umarexs fit perfectly) and started shooting it, it was a blast. Everything worked perfectly. I had to adjust down the front site, the clip with the belt in it functioned flawlessly, and no misfires at all. Remember to load the first one with the loading lever on the side though.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Use the Umarex cartridges. The Air Venturis don't fit.

Good weight, nice feel. more than 10+ rounds really great. Good power.

    Things I would have changed:

some time the pointed long pellets don't feed smoothly. It would be good if it the mag and gun could accept a range from .177 to .22 or greater. There are some spare empty round loops in the mag, It would be good if this blank space could be utilitized in the mag to give more round 30+ rounds. there is no under-side mount on the under-side of the barrel, underside mounting would be good. Some time the lock sticks. Plastic parts should be made of carbon fiber for extra strength and long life.
