The weight and the build. It is a great value for the money if you can get one that will not jam.

Make it shoot better.

I had to return the first one because the rifle kept jamming. The second rifle only jams every now and then. It does not shoot any were close to 750 fps, more like 475 fps.

Very well made as expected. Good weight and balance. Accurate right out of the box. I raised the sight 2 clicks for 30 - 40 yard shots. Put 250 shots of Crosman 7.4 Pointed with no problems at all. Will get it out this weekend. Can't measure velocities but it shoots straight and hits hard at 30 yards. 8 inch cake pans and drink cans as targets. I have already ordered more pellets and co2.

Not so much changes as options. I would like the stock to be a inch longer or so. Different length stocks or a inch or three of adjustment without being ugly. Optional barrels would be nice if possible.

I started having misfires when I started my second 250 count can of pellets so it will be one can of pellets for one tank of co2 until further notice. Keeps counting shots easy. I mark a can for every gun I have and number it to keep up. The manual does not mention using pel gun oil on the co2 tanks and wonder if it is Ok. I intend to start. So far I am very impressed with the rifle and am glad I bought it.

The pellet belt in magazine should be deeper to accommodate pointed pellets. The fore grip is funky, the sling mount gets in the way.

After suffering thru repeated rollbacks of the availability date for nearly nine months, I am happy to announce Sig has given birth to a truly fine 4.5 caliber platform, which is well worth waiting for. This baby comes in a bit heavy, at 11 pounds, but that's because it's mostly metal, not plastic, and will only get heavier with a couple standard toys, so deal with it. The genius of this baby is in the magazine design which makes the MCX a belt-fed semi-automatic pellet pusher. As with all newborns, it threw fits of un-cooperative behavior until I finally fed it what it wants. This baby chokes & pukes when fed any pointed tip pellet, including Sig's own 7.5 grain Dagger pellets. The force of this gun is so great that it actually collapses the pellet in the belt instead of firing it, the copper pellet simply cannot stand up to the force. Pointed pellets will cause the belt to jam, every time, so forget them as well. In early testing the MCX jammed within the first five shots.

It took almost a half a year to get here, but "The Eagle Has Finally Landed". I had originally ordered the .22 cal on backorder but I had to settle for the .177 cal because it would have taken another 6 months to get here. Rapid fire it's not. It's finicky and needs a little finesse. I spent about 4 hours trying it out. I tried 3 air cylinders and 3 different pellets. I had jams with kodiak Heavy and Gamo Raptor. It worked pretty good with Gamo Match Wad Cutters (still had some jams though). It needs full release of the trigger. It's not a gun for as fast as you can pull the trigger. It will fail, unless there is no ammo in it and you plan to use it to make a Hollywood movie. I was tempted to return it but the looks are way too cool. I'm giving it 5 starts for the awesomeness of the looks and feel.

It needs to come with a couple extra belts for the mag and an extra pellet seater would be nice. The mag belt needs a little work - it could use a master link clip to take some of the slack out of it. Without intruding on the Beretta Air gun mag this would help the pellet index better.

There is storage in the grip maybe for the sight and seater pellet tools. Paul has an awesome job - call me if you ever need a hand.

I have the .177 MCX, the weight, the fit of all the parts. The rifle is well build for a $200.00 rifle.

I just wish the pellets would be closer to the advertised 700 fps.

The fps is way off from what was advertised, I am getting 450 fps with 7.9 grain pellets. I had problems with my first rifle (the belt would jam), sent it back to PA and they sent me a another new rifle. They did a fine job, Thank You PA!!!

The look the feel and the manufacturer.

Air bottle choice! They don't want you to leave the air cylinder attached to the gun if you are not going to be shooting. The air cylinder is capable of 200-250 shots, it is totally unsafe to unscrew a pressurize air cylinder! If you're not going to shoot 200-250 rounds at a time then what are you supposed to do? The magazine size is good I should have bought 4-6 of them.

It's louder than I expected but I plan to mod. it myself. The air cylinder choice is the only thing I'm not a fan of. It's true semi auto just like a paintball gun, and so far it's been very accurate in the 15-20 yard range. I have not had a whole lot of time to mess with this do to the fact that I'm right in the middle of a subdivision.

The weight of the rifle is great.

The belt that hold the pellets, as I write this my gun is back at Pyramyd Air. I could not get one full belt of pellets to fire without several jams per belt. Other than that the rifle seem well built.

The middle of the rifle is all metal, the front and rear is plastic. Loading the pellets is time consuming and takes away from the fun of shooting.

Concept is great!

Owners manual is POOR! Pyramyd Air should probably include their own set of instruction &/or make available on line. A full dollars worth of gun without question.

P.A test velocities can not be correct! I get almost identical test velocities using crosman 7.9 grain pellets ! My guess is they have correct velocities but the wrong weight pellet .

It is heavy 8lbs...It shoots what they claim it does 750 fps with Crossman SSP ...lots of metal (suppressor,reciever, flip up sights)..sound suppressor screws off revealing a unpainted skinney inner barrel and it appears Sig plans on offering different barrels because there is a break mid way in the barrel under the handguard where it threads together...possibly to place a A2 style barrel instead of a suppressed one...the trigger is so smooth a resets crisply..makes for great rapid fire...

Make it like the Winchester mp4 and when you removed the mag pulling the trigger will release the bolt...not to crazy about leaving tension on the bolt or springs when it's stored but I can't use a 90 gram co2 in one sitting.. Also release an aftermarket aluminum stock instead of the plastic one it could easily be done...Also include a couple key mod rails like the MPX comes with...and make the QD sling slot in the buttstock actually accept a QD sling ..it's fake..

This is not a toy...if you shoot something with it... it will break that object...I defiantly feel it's strong enough to kill small game no problem.. also the Manuel states that the MCX and MPX are the same gun with the exception that the MCX has a 21 inch barrel and MPX has a 16 inch barrel... Also Im pretty sure you can thread a bulk fill adapter to the co2 spot but you would have to drill out a hole for the co2 line if you want the stock back on..
