    Things I liked:

    accuracy, power, pretty much everything

    Things I would have changed:

nothing, for the price its perfect

    What others should know:

I have this gun in .22 and .25 and they are both serious hunters! I have taken 2 squirrels, 7 starlings, 2 doves, and 2 pigeons with the .22 and the .25 i have taken 3 pigeons, 2 doves, 3 squirrels, 2 starlings and a rabbit. The pigeons were killed around 20 yards with chest shots with H&N Hollowpoints and H&N Barracudas. One dove was shot at 45 yards with an H&N Hollowpoint and one at 65 yards with Barracudas. The squirrels were around 35 yards with Barracudas and heart shots. The starlings were also shot at around 30 yards and with Barracudas. And lastly the rabbit, was shot with a Benjamin Domed .25 pellet. Instant kill. Great Gun, you will not regret buying this. The best pellets i have found are the Benjamin Domed and H&N Hollowpoints. If not these the runner ups are the JSB Exact Kings or the H&N Barracudas. good luck hunting with this beast.

    Things I would have changed:

    really nothing

    What others should know:

This gun is a crazy powerhouse! i took a squirrel out instantly at 35 yards with a neck shot. If wanting a very powerful, very accurate cheap rifle look no further than this. I have been shooting the H&N Barracuda pellets and get great groups. Only put around 150 shots through it because ive only had it a couple days. Going to clear out the raccoon and opossum traps this weekend so will report how it did.

the power ,accuracy, weight and cocking force.

    Things I would have changed:

maybe offer a wood stock of some sort but my plastic stock is holding up fine

    What others should know:

this gun easily dispatches anything from squirrels to raccoons. i have taken a 32 pound raccoon with this gun with 1 headshot. the plastic stock feels cheap but has held up well with 1000 rounds through it. if you want a cheap but crazy powerful breakbarrel air gun that is super accurate buy this gun you will not be dissapointed

    Things I liked:

First off, this gun was designed for hunting 1st and fun 2nd. I see a lot of comments about the cocking effort being too stiff, but I don't think it's fair to complain too much about it considering it is a hunting gun. People who buy this gun want the serious stopping power and accuracy it provides. The scope is a nice piece and I don't understand why anyone would complain about the scope needing an upgrade. I'm sure you can find something aftermarket that is better, but this is the nicest out of the box scope I've ever seen. How many other guns come out of the box with a scope that has AO, Mildot, and Illumination? And if you mount the scope correctly with the included scope stop, then the scope will not creep so I don't understand why anyone would complain about that either. Another great thing about this gun is the price! I bought a barely used demo model and paid a ridiculously low amount for my Falcon Hunter, but even at the $250 price tag this thing is a great value. This gun is 49" which doesn't seem so long until you hold it up to other guns in your collection. I feel like I'm firing a bazooka after shooting my Crosman 760 or even my real .22 Remington 597 rifle. This is my first adult air gun and I don't claim to be any kind of expert, but I've got to say THIS GUN IS A GREAT PACKAGE!

    Things I would have changed:

Like all others, I would have to say the stock is the weakest part of the gun. If you are buying the gun solely on the paint job then you will be disappointed. The printed/painted camo looks extremely thin and looks like it would easily scratch through to the white stock that lies beneath. Most likely I will end up painting mine solid black if the finish doesn't hold up. The butt of the gun sounds very hollow and thin, but I'm not too worried about it breaking. However, to give it some extra support and to get rid of the hollow sound I took off the rubber butt pad, drilled 3 small holes, and filled the cavity with a low expansion rate spray foam (DO NOT use a high expansion rate foam or you probably will crack the stock).

    What others should know:

For a male adult shooter the gun doesn't seem extremely hard to cock, but for all day hobby shooting it can prove to be a workout. Also know this is a heavy MASSIVE gun at 49" it won't fit in my gun cabinet. It's longer Any negatives are outweighed buy the pure power, accuracy, and all around AWESOMENESS of this gun! ***AMMO*** So far I have only tried Crosman Field Hunting 14.3gr Pointed and RWS Superpoint 14.5gr Pointed. I must say Pyramyd made a huge mistake listing the RWS under ammo suggestions for this gun. No matter how I hold the gun I can't get the RWS to group very well at all even at 20-30 yards. The Crosmans on the other hand group very well for me and you can find them in just about any store that sells .22 cal air rifles. ***DO NOT BUY THIS GUN IN THE .22 CAL*** if you are going to replace the stock scope. You basically pay $40 extra for the scope and the cheesy camo stock, so if you are going to be one of those people who yank the stock scope off directly out of the box and replace it then I suggest you buy a .22 cal Walther Magnum Talon instead and use the extra cash for an aftermarket scope or maybe even use the cost offset to talk yourself into getting the .22 Magnum Talon with a Nitro Piston installed. I repeat...do not buy this gun for the camo alone you will be disappointed. ***BUY THIS GUN IF*** (1) you want the .25 cal that is not offered in the Talon OR (2) you want a great .22 cal out of the box combo and do not plan on upgrading the scope

    Things I liked:

    power,power, and more power

    Things I would have changed:

this thing has got some wierd reverse threaded screws, not that big of a deal but i would rather have just standard set screwa

    What others should know:

this thing has amazing power. from point blank range this thing can shoot straight threw a 2 by 4 using crosman premier hollow points. i havnt mounter the scope yet but it is still accurate right out of the box with iron sights. cant do much shooting for a few days until weather improves. but when i can i plan on mounting the scope. i havnt tried any thing farther than 20 yards. can someone please tell me how the accuracy is at 50 and 100 yards. also what pellets do you recommend for accuracy. please comment back

    Things I liked:

Very strong, feel the weight, great power, the camo es very nice, the stock is big. Great rifle in general.

    Things I would have changed:

The open sights is very poor material, this point is the fall of this rifle, the mine in Colombia is broken, and the ship is normal, but this piece is very bad.

    What others should know:

Strong for charge, dangerous the power, be carefull. The rest is pure power.

    Things I liked:

I love the power of my .22. 1/4 plexiglass at 30 yards. Right through. Plastic laundry sink at 40 yards. Through and through.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is a little stiff, and it's plastic. The gun wrecked two scopes in about 450 shots. They just shake apart. A scope upgrade is a must. And they crept rearward a lot with the stock rings.

    What others should know:

Stick to a 14 grain or heavier pellet. They are more stable and hit harder because it doesn't have to break the sound barrier. I've been mostly using pointed Crossmans and they seem fine.

    Things I liked:

Lots of power, cool looks, very accurate. Comes with a nice scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. I had no problems with the quality of the stock as some other reviews alluded to.

    What others should know:

I disagree with PyramidAir's recommended pellets for the .22 version of this gun. I could not get good groups with RWS Superpoints at all. I found that this rifle likes shooting slightly heavier pellets. I had EXCELLENT results with Beeman Silver Jets and (the unfortunately discontinued) Ram Jets. The Ram Jets are no longer being made by Beeman (they are domed with a "wadcutting" edge) but I had a couple of boxes of these stashed away. Anyway, the gun really hits hard. I have a Crosman 2250 that mushrooms out pellets nicely when fired into a steel trap. Well, when firing the same pellets at the same target trap, the Walther Falcon Hunter actually makes the pellets DISINTEGRATE into tiny powder fragments. I'm not kidding, this gun is POWERFUL. I also did not have trouble cocking the rifle. It's not that hard. THIS GUN IS AWESOME -- buy it if you can!!!

    Things I liked:

Power of the .25 is great.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger weight takes getting used to, needes to be lighter out of the box. The scope that comes with the gun is not up to the task, needs to be upgraded.

    What others should know:

As stated the scope should not be included with gun,it needs upgrading, the gas spring upgrade is essential. After these minor changes the gun is absolutly perfect.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Power is great, pretty accurate overall. I could adjust the trigger to be pretty workable and consistent.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic stock to wood. I have had other pellet rifles with plastic stocks and this is the worst of them all. Thank goodness there are 4 screws on the fore end. Hollow butt stock, gets a little better if you fill it with something. Scope is OK, should come a one piece mount. Metal trigger and trigger guard. The front trigger screw can get stripped out very easily.

    What others should know:

If this thing had wood stock, I would recommend this to almost anyone that has had an air rifle before and is looking for more power, but it doesn't. You can buy from Umarex for around hundred dollars. Walther has a great platform here, put on a wood stock and the rating would go from 3 stars to 4 and if they had a wood stock, metal trigger, and metal trigger guard...5 stars.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope should be upgraded. It has features you look for in a airsoft gun, but is a little cheaply made for a $275 gun.

    What others should know:

I own a wildlife removal company in Louisiana and this is the gun I turn to when needed. I have taken out many squirrels, opossume, nutria, raccoons, and more with this gun.

This rifle is a lot of power! It has a very nice color and great scope. The weight is good for a 22 cal rifle. I took me less than five minutes to sight in the scope right out of the box.. It is made by Hatsan company in Turkey.. This is a rifle for any serious hunters!! It is strong to cock but not bad at all. I also like the automatic safety, it is very good to have it..

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger should be metal.

it had pretty good power at first and the scope was VERY nice.

    Things I would have changed:

the plastic stock, the way it shoots with no consistancy at all

    What others should know:

my experience with this rifle was at first a pretty powerful gun which was what i was looking for but then came to find out it had little to no accuracy at all and the pellets were tumbling in flight and after about 150 shots it started losing power so as you can imagine i was not happy with this product and did send it back to pyramyd and decided to shell out the extra few dollars and get a Benjamin Discovery PCP gun (very good choice i love this gun) but maybe my rifle was just a dud all i know is if your looking a well built powerfull rifle you should probably look into PCP as after i've shot one i wont be buying anything but PCP in the future

This thing has serious POWER! I have the .22 and it sinks crow magnums 3/4 of an inch into pressure treated 4x4's

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

This rifle is BIG with very thick steel parts, this is not a plinker because your arm will tire after fifty or so shots from cocking the beefy mainspring but its awesome for hunting, this thing hits almost as hard as a rimfire with serious kick! This gun is made in Turkey by Hatsan and imported by Umarex, the quality is outstanding.

The power of the gun is amazing. With the gas spring the gun is very consistant. I get tight groups at various distances. Not at all hold sensitive. I also upgraded the scope from readers suggestion. I am very pleased with the overall package.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing now that I added the gas spring and Leapers scope.

    What others should know:

Go for the gas spring and scope upgrades. They are well worth the extra outlay of money.

Though some other guns may boast 1000 fps, this gun actually delivers what it says on the label. Very powerful. It comes with a what seems to be a good scope.

    Things I would have changed:

    The overall plastic design....duh.

    What others should know:

The seal of this gun breaks very easily. Also, this gun is very heavy, so you better be strong.

    Things I liked:

I have the .22 version .This is a great gun for the money. Very powerful and accurate. I was able to get it sighted in with just 10 shots. The scope is great but a little heavy. I don't really notice the plastic trigger and don't mind it. This is very important so listen up. This gun shoots in very close groups but with different pellets and therefore different size and shape you will get different groups (either higher, lower, left or right) so if you can stick with the same kind of pellet you will most likely hit your target every time. I can hit quarter size target at about 35 yard range with no problem.

    Things I would have changed:

    lighter scope

    What others should know:

Not for kids. This is an adult air rifle.

This gun in 22. has some serous speed,i shoot crow magnums in mine they are very accurate and when you hit a sparrow the impact is louder than the gun.I do like the open sites also,.

    Things I would have changed:

    The trigger.

    What others should know:

This is a hunters gun,you won't regret it,loc-tite screws on stock if not just check after 20 to 30 shots.

    Things I liked:

I have this gun in .25cal This is a follow up to previous comments. I really like this gun, it has been a work in progress and sometimes a headache. But it kills squirrels and groundhogs quickly. I have a RWS 52 in .25 cal also and power wise the Walther is stronger and reach out a tad further.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a true weaver scope rail or some kind of rail to prevent creeping of scope. Needs a lighter scope, I think this adds to creeping problems. Much room for improvement with this rifle. A few tweaks here and there and Hatsan will have a winner I think.

    What others should know:

This obviously seems to be the poor mans Patriot or Kodiak. So much recoil that all the one piece mounts continue to move rearwards and bend and snap off stop pins. May have solved this problem by adding a small piece of aluminum(just a piece of old scope ring clamp) ground to fit between last notches on rail to act as a better permanent scope stop. Tapped piece in place for a tight fit(and just Krazy glued),then remounted Leapers Accushot one piece scope mount and slid up against it before tightening. This seems to have solved my problem without having to spend $50 or on a scope stop that may or may not work or won't fit. Another review mentioned that he is worried about the tight Eun Jins scraping down the barrel. I wouldn't worry about that because lead can't scrape steel. I just think the pellet will grab the rifling better for a tighter spinning pellet which helps with accuracy. Shoot safe!
