    Things I liked:

This gun is for real! I have never seen power like this in a pellet gun before.I never could get the gun sighted in low enough with the adjustable sights, but when i put the scope on the accuracy at 30 yards was unbelievable. I just purchased the Ruger in .177 caliber which i feel is the best gun for the money on the market right now. A nd the power in this .22 caliber gun just blew me away. I cant wait to test the JSB Predator Hollowpoints on my rabbit and squirrel population!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really except the plastic trigger.

    What others should know:

This is not a toy! Definitely for adults and you wil not be disappointed.

    Things I liked:

I have the .25 caliber - settled on Kodiaks for best combination of accuracy and power. I sighted the scope in at 30 yards and have hardly missed a shot since - mostly cans and bottles - but can also hit those silver-dollar-sized flourescent shatter-blast discs at 30 yards all day! NIce scope - at least within my 20 - 40 yard range. I know some folks have said the .22 version of this gun is more powerful, but the .25 kodiak pellet is really much bigger than a .22, and the sound it makes when it hits a solid target is a much heavier thud than any .22 I have - convincing me that the pellet size is a good tradeoff for the .22's speed, This is a king kong springer at .25 caliber - a real cannon for the price!

    Things I would have changed:

I don't really mind the plastic trigger - I'm frankly surprised at the emphasis there. The fixed sights are quite loose and wobbly . . If I didn't have a scope I would not be happy with those sites.. The stock extenders are a good idea, but the two screws that hold those extenders to the stock are crude - just huge wood screw that fasten directly to the plastic stock. Also - the big Eun Jins are really quite tight for this gun - you really have to shove the pellet in - and I can imagine it scraping it's way down the barrel - I don't recommend Eun Jins in this - and Laser just fly out of the barrel and squirm all over the place - Kodiaks work well for me.

    What others should know:

I bought the stock rifle but the recoil and twist from the heavy spring effected accuracy for me . .so I returned it and had Pyramid install a gas spring. Big difference! So I recommend opting for the gas spring right from the start! You'll like the gas spring version of this rifle - and you'll really like it after about 300 - 400 shots

    Things I liked:

(.22 call 4-5 mos.) The power on this rifle is unbelievable! It's not trumped up or estimated power - it's unparalleled shoulder slamming power, period. And the accuracy is very good as well. This is a very big gun, it fits me well and doesn't look like a toy. For a gun in this price range it can't be beat.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger - yes, but let's face it.. most have a plastic trigger now. I like the stock, it's lighter and more durable. I bought this gun for hunting and banging it around not to show off. The only thing I would have changed would be the scope rings... You need to order a 1 piece scope ring set like accushot or B-square. The scope that comes with it is beautiful, but it's very heavy as well. That, combined with the recoil just rips the rings right off the rail. Or, use a smaller, scope.

    What others should know:

You have to use a hard hold with this gun. It won't shoot well unless you do. It goes against every other springer out there. You absolutely will need a one piece scope mount!!! I bought the accushot - works well! This rifle is, what it is... if you want an awesome wood stock and match trigger, then don't buy it. If you want something that will devastate gophers, crows, rabbits, even coyotes - don't hesitate! I love this gun! It's a man's gun! not a boy's toy.

    Things I liked:

Very, very powerful, much better than any air rifle near this price range.

    Things I would have changed:

Like others have said, a wood stock and metal trigger would be nice, but they would contribute to the already heavy weight of the gun.

    What others should know:

Get the .22, it's more powerful than the .25 ( in f.p.e., and velocity), and the pellets are still heavy enough to knock down whatever you're shooting at. At about 50 feet, I slammed a .22 Kodiak pellet ( 21.10 gr) straight through a 3/8th in. composite board and took a chip out of the concrete wall behind it! The hole in the front of the board was a perfect, pellet size hole, while where the pellet exited was about a quater size hole, surrounded by splinters. The scope is awesome, much better than any of the scopes on my other rifles. It has telescopic zoom, anywhere between 3x-9x magnification, and can focus between 10- 300 plus yards! It also has a very bright blue light that turns the crosshairs blue, with 11 dim settings. Very nice quality scope. I am extremely happy with this gun, esspecially the power and accuracy, and would highly recommend it to anyone considering buying it.

    Things I liked:

Hard hitting, very accurate if scope would be able to hold zero, not as hold sensitive as many springers. The camo stock. It can really throw that huge 1/4 inch chunck of lead.

    Things I would have changed:

Better quality stock(like wood). Just as Michael stated, the stock has cracks at all four screws. Must be stress cracks from the massive recoil. Better scope, the recoil caused the ring around the A/O dial to come loose and the rubber seal for rear lense to come out causing lense to rattle. Also, needs a better scope stop, the screw to secure it sheared off. Hatsan Arms, Turkey has a long way. Buy German!!!

    What others should know:

I really enjoyed taking this rifle out for squirrel hunting this year. It certainly got the job done. However I am very disappointed in the overall quality of this gun. I now have to go out and purchase a better scope, scope stop( which I can't put on until I remove the sheared off screw from the last one), and find someone who can make a custom wood stock for it. So much for the $266. Maybe, mine was just a lemon. Too bad, I really liked this gun for hunting.

    Things I liked:

I have the .22 and it has plenty of power. The bluing is nice.

    Things I would have changed:

Get rid of the cheap plastic stock! The plastic trigger needs to be made of metal and have less play. Scope is not up to the task of the recoil.

    What others should know:

Not a good gun for a beginner. The gun has plenty of recoil. The cheap plastic stock cracked at all four of the screws in the forend within the first 50 shots. I ended up making one out of wood instead of getting another cheep plastic replacement. The scope seemed nice at first but It never could seem to hold a zero. I will be putting a higher end scope on it that can handle the recoil.

    Things I would have changed:

    more power is always better

    What others should know:

good for hunting. 660 fps with beeman silver sting pellets. 480 fps with 43 grain sam yang pellets. best hunting pellets are the sam yang pellets but not at long distance. these are huge pellets and barely go in the barrel, but the only pellets that make squirrels drop instantly and not squirm at all. i put a mechanical pencil eraser in the gun and it worked really good. it shot at a velocity higher than 1100 fps!i guess its exactly a quarter inch bore.

    Things I liked:

I like the scope its a nice piece of glass! the cocking effort is alright as well. I dont even mind the trigger pull. The .25 is very powerful! This thing will throw a kodiak completely through two peices of 1/2 plywood.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic stock is loud and is a little to long for comfortable shooting. The scope rail stop needs to come back a little further, because of the stock. Put sling swivels on this gun! Its to heavy to be packing around the woods with out a sling!

    What others should know:

This is a big gun and has alot of power, i have shot this gun at 25,50,80,100,and 150yds and it still will pass through a pop can at 150 yds using the beeman kodiak! I bought the ram jets with this gun and it shoots them good at 20yds through 50 yds but further than that the ram jets dont do very well! I prefer the beeman extra heavy kodiaks for the .25 it shoots them very well! And they have alot of punch I am thinking of using the eun jins as well just for a try!

Very powerful air rifle.Gun becomes easier to shoot accurately as it breaks in. The only steel spring powered .25 gun available.

    Things I would have changed:

Poor quality plastic stock.Redesign trigger mechanism so pins will not drift out because of recoil and vibration.

    What others should know:

This is a project or tinkers gun and as such will require some attention to realize and maintain it's potential.I enjoy this rifle, but in contrast my Diana guns are much nicer and will last a lifetime with little attention. This gun will shake itself apart unless you prevent it from doing so.

    Things I liked:

I have this gun in .22 calliber and have been using it for about 2 months. Power is very good for price point. Like the lightweight stock, it cuts down considerably on the overall weight of the gun. What I like the most is this guns accuracy. Granted I'm not an expert, but for a breakbarrel in .22 caliber I think it is excellent. I have no problem hitting a soda can sized target at 100 yards (from a bench with the supplied scope), and it still has enough power at that range to take out softer skinned animals. I have taken 3 doves at over 50 yards, one at around 70 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

I know others may like the fiber optic sights but I think they are are of pretty cheap quality and question putting iron sights on the gun to start with. This gun was made for hunting at close and long range, which requires a scope. I also think the stock is too long; I am 5'-10" with average length arms for my height and this gun is on the long side for me with none of the buttpad shims. What I would most like to be changed on the gun is the QUALITY of the trigger mechanism. The fact that it has a plastic trigger and trigger guard would not bother me if the trigger had a shorter and lighter pull. For a good hunting gun this is imperative. Oh, and also the wierd scope rail; the cross slots are useless.

    What others should know:

If I had to sum up my feelings about this gun I would have to say unrealized potential. The cheap trigger being the main culprit. The reason I gave it an overall rating of 3 is because after about 40 shots the trigger started randomly malfunctioning. Sometimes it would not fire without TREMENDOUS pressure on the trigger. I know I could have sent it back to Pyramyd Air and they would have made good, but I did not want to wait that long to get it back. It just so happens my older brother is an excellent gunsmith and knew he would not have a problem at least diagnosing the problem. The things he commented on when disassembling the trigger was how loose everything fitted, the use of plastic parts, the use of non-hardened pins, the fact that the pins could slide back and forth to the point of almost coming out, one of the trigger springs being so long that when the trigger was pulled the spring completely compressed and the fact that the difference between the first and second stage could not be felt. After about 2 hours of working on various parts we got it to where it would fire reliably and after about 450 more shots it still does fire reliably. I still am not satisfied with the trigger though, still way to heavy, but that is my own preference. Also on my gun after about 300 shots I noticed that the barrel was loosening. Took me a while to find it but there is a set screw inside the rear sight that holds the barrel to the block. To access it screw out the up/down thumbscrew adjustment on the rear sight, fold the sight ramp up at the hinge and you can access the set screw. It is metric. It would have been nice if things like this were shown in the manual, Walther should do better on this. I know it seems like I hate the gun but I don't, I just wish Walther could have put just a bit more effort into putting together more of a quality package. If it would have cost $50 to $75 more to get it this way it would be well worth it and I would have gladly paid for it.

    Things I liked:

This gun ain't for sissies! It's big, heavy and requires a bit more elbow grease to cock... but it throws a really big chunk of .25 caliber lead down range in a hurry! Camo stock is a nice add on, as are the length of pull adjusters. The fiber optic open sights are also nice feature for those who prefer going scopeless. Questionless of its intended purpose. It's a hunter.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic triggers and trigger guards are big downer for me, but in this price range acceptable. Trigger is very mushy.

    What others should know:

If you looking for a marvel of machining, fit and finish spend no time thinking about buying this gun. It's not bad, it's just OK. If you want a fun to shoot, accurate springer that is a good value with a large bore then waste no time. BUY this gun.

    Things I liked:

This air rifle has got to be the most serious thing I laid my hands on. Let me tell you this rifle will give you a work out, my wife said to me the other day that my right arm has more tone than the left arm. I made sure to switch my cocking arm so that both of my arm is getting a work out. The scope that comes with it ROCKS! Just be sure to use that scope stop so that the scope don't walk on the dovetail groove. The iron sights are accurate also, shot a brown beer bottle from 40yds away zeroing in on the target. O yeah, one more thing. Brother in law and I took this and his Gamo Big Cat out camping and shot it around dusk, man this rifle shot out sparks 2 feet out of the muzzle, his barely did some. His Big Cat felt like a toy compared to mine. Automatic bear trap mech is also nice.

    Things I would have changed:

trigger like everyone says, but it really doesn't bother me, no really it doesn't.

    What others should know:

I'm 5 8" 220lbs and its nothing as cocking the gun. Just when you get it slap the muzzle to open it and slam it back to close it. Not doing these two things, you cannot open and or close the breech. I'm slaughtering birds that are 50~80 yds away from me with some Premiers or Cromags. This is a big long rifle so buy a sock or a hard case long enough for it. Your regular outlet stores won't have hard cases so get them here.

This is the most powerful 22 cal. pellet gun i own, i ha ve 6 in all, including rws 48,ben. super streak. This baby will do what they say it will do.Took it out of the box ,sights was right on target, mounted scope and it was only a couple clicks off. Very happy with scope that came with it.

    Things I would have changed:

It comes with way more oil on it then it needs,it is in a sealed plastic bag, which is a very good idea. They need to work on the latch on the break barrel it take a good rap to open it ,& close

    What others should know:

gun is very oily ,Power is unbelievable,it does a lot of jumpings & kicking, i love it. Everyone tells you to hold a springer lightly, it works good on my other 5, but me i use a firm grip on the forearm of this gun , you may want to try both ways.Just hold the same way once you decide what works best for you

    Things I liked:

In 22 caliber this gun is very powerful and accurate! It's not real heavy. The blueing is nice and even. Comes with what seems to be a good quality scope. I like the way the trigger works. The camoflage stock looks good. The checkering on the stock makes the gun easy to hold and it doesn't slip. I am 5' 7" and I like the way the gun feels when I hold it. The gun is big and it did take a little getting used to. This is okay, because there is only one way for me to hold it, which makes it easier to always hold it the same way, when using the scope. The price can't be beat!

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic trigger and trigger guard should be metal. The plastic stock should be solid, not hollow. It would be nice if this gun was offered with a wood stock.

    What others should know:

This gun comes very oily, inside and out. After about 150 shots my gun is still smoking a little and blowing out oil. After about the first 40 shots, I called Pyramyd air because this gun was smoking big time. I was told to call Umarex's tech department and ask them about it. I did and I was told this is normal and would do no harm. I'm shooting Crossman Premiers and I get good consistant close groups at 20 yards. I tried 25 shots at 40 yards and there was very little if any pellet dropoff. This gun is loud and the cocking effort is more than 27 lbs. It's more like 47 lbs. and the loudness is a 4, not a 3. It also takes some effort to break and close the barrel. This gun has a big recoil, it takes some getting used to, a loose hold is important. If you are much shorter than 5'7" this gun might be to big for you. After 110 shots today I stopped because I was getting tired and it was throwing off my accuracy. Don't think you are going to spend the whole day plinking with this gun, cocking it will wear you out! After a little rest I started shooting my 177 caliber Gamo Hunter 890S; it felt like a toy gun! The 22 caliber Walther Falcon Hunter is well worth the price.

    Things I liked:

This is one big rifle. It is very well made-Hatsan Arms- and delivers everything stated in the ads and posts here and elsewhere on the web. While I am new to air guns I have been a DM for the military , so I can say this rifle feels like an M24 in my hands. The rifle is still in "break in" mode, so there are still some tune issues I am working through, but for less than 500 rounds through the pipe it is very accurate and seems to perform very well. I have yet to mount the scope, but with iron sights it can keep groups within the size of a quarter at 15 yards. As it is still breaking in, those groups are wandering around some, but still tight. Once broken in and all screws are glued- lock tite- into place it should be an amazing rifle for the money. The scope is very good quality and it should only help tighten the groups once it is mounted. This is a lot of weapon for the money. My air gun experience is limited to some old Benjamin and Powerline models from my high school days, and this rifle is not even comparable to those .177 rifles. The size and weight are something to be considered if you are smaller. I am 6'1" at 200 lbs, so it fits me great, and compared to an M4 or M24 it is light enough. It weighs more than my Ruger 1022 and seems to hit just as hard within 100 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

Everyone complains about the trigger, and I will too. It is less than smooth and somewhat heavier than I would like, but now I am getting very picky and would imagine that for this price any of the other air rifles would suffer from a similar feel.

    What others should know:

Buy this rifle if you are looking for a solid hunting rifle or something to practice with if you want to save $$$ on .308 ammo. It is not a toy to use in a suburban neighborhood as it is loud, very loud. I would say it is almost as loud as my 1022, but it is getting quieter as it breaks in, but loud enough that your neighbors within 100 yards will hear it and really wonder what's going on when they see this monster. It will not be mistaken for a toy or a "BB gun" by anyone.

    Things I liked:

Value for the money -- this is half the price of any other .25 you can buy, and the only one that isn't a PCP rig. If you need the knock-down power of that caliber, this is the one to consider first. In my own case, I needed to cope with an out-of-control squirrel population, coming from the woodlands behind the house and ruining our cedar siding. In the process of zeroing-in from 30 yards, one of the grays popped up 10 yards away. Since alignment wasn't complete, I went for a chest shot with a Crow-Magnum and hoped for the best. The pellet entered behind his shoulder, passed diagonally, and made a dime-sized exit, and he dropped without a twitch. In the weeks since, I've confirmed that .25 hollow points from the Falcon supply consistent, humane, and immediate results with chest as well as head shots on squirrels. For those of us who are merely good (as opposed to expert) at 30-plus yards, this extra latitude is a great relief. Speaking of marksmanship, the included scope is high quality and a good match to the gun: 3-9 is a useful level of power, and the big diameter gives a really bright image.

    Things I would have changed:

Seems obligatory to gripe about the plastic trigger. (It's really not that bad.) Was more disappointed with the mossy oak finish, which is thinly painted on the plastic stock. It's also a bit slick to the touch, which is annoying because you want a good grip when wielding this beast. Also, the butt is obviously hollow, which adds a bit to the noise of recoil. This weekend, I'll be scrubbing down the stock and spraying a coat of truck bed liner, then filling the butt with expansion foam.

    What others should know:

This is a pest killing gun, not a plinker. If you don't plan to hunt squirrels or some other fur-bearing critter, there are lighter and less expensive options. That said, the .25 Falcon is terrific for its intended purpose. It takes some getting used to, and there's a definite break-in period, but once things settle down, it's a pleasure to use.

    Things I liked:

The POWER and kick of this rifle! This one's got some serious juevos! The scope is very high quality and the butt pad of the stock is insert -adjustable. Trigger isn't half bad for a one-stage pull. The Mossy Oak Break-Up Camo is a flattering touch to this very unique rifle. The fluted scope rail accomodates just about any mounting system out there and is quite appealing to the eyes. There's no buzz when shooting this one nor twist- the power plant is solid and very well built.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger and safety are molded plastic and visibly so... Hatsan(Walther) could've cleaned up their molding job a little better. The stock feels of a lower grade plastic which could use being a little more grippy. Something along the lines of the compounds Gamo uses on theirs. Out of the box the Falcon is quite grindy while cocking but no worries this one smooths out nicely! The screws along the body of the stock tighten counter-clockwise which I find to be an oddity. All screws needed tightening upon arrival. The open sites are solid but came a little crooked on mine. Initially this bugged me but when I scoped it and zero'd er' in- my skepticism abruptly changed. Once you get used to this "bronco" of a kicker it's quite accurate!

    What others should know:

Upon arrival- this will be the oiliest gun you will ever receive... bar none! Bring a chamy/gun cloth and swabs for the unveiling. This one comes very well packaged with styrofoam ends snuggly fitting the barrel and end of the stock. The Falcon is very unique in its own rite and deserves the credibility that it's earned. Break-in with mine took somewhere in the acinity of 50+ shots. This one likes the heavies so get yourself some Beeman Crow Mags. RWS SuperDomes work pretty well too. I'd been talking with Paul over the course of a few weeks about different power-hitters and he'd drawn my attention to this wonderous rifle. Thankyou Paul for your excellent customer service once again- the pyramydair staff are nothing short of the best! Hit the order button and get yourself a Walther Falcon Hunter Edition in .22 or .25... you won't regret it... really!

This rifle is a beast. It's only 3 lbs. lighter than my Remington 700 pss. Trigger breaks nice and crisp. Your small kids won't be able to cock it, so it's safe. Dropped a big raccoon with one shot. (I have the .22 version) All said, you can't beat this one.I didn't need the stock pads to extend the length of pull, but they come with it. This gun is as accurate as you are. It's capable of one hole shooting if you are.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic trigger. just because everyone else is complaining. Actually I didn't notice any problems with the trigger. I would have preferred a black stock for night coon hunting. I have a problem with raccoons getting into the eves of my house. So mines for night time shooting Bake sure you use the scope stop screw. The recoil WILL make the scope slide so check the screw every few shots. They should put a few more holes for the scope stop so you have a few more positions .
