It's the exact size as my actual FNS-9 handgun. Of course, it's lighter weight. Ratcheting the slide for every shot is not that much of a hassle. The trigger pull is similar to the initial pull of the real FSN-9 which helps with trigger finger strength and pulling technique.
Things I would have changed:At a price of $20, I think it's fine just as it is.
What others should know:I use this FNS-9 airsoft to practice my shooting technique for my 9mm FNS-9 handgun. It helps develop intuitive sighting, trigger control, and trigger finger strength. Racking for every shot also builds agility for unjamming a real FNS-9 in the rare event it occurs. Since it's lighter than an actual FNS-9, I use a 1 pound wrist weight to emulate the real gun. The 10" diameter adhesive target I bought from Pyramyd works great at 21 feet. That's the distance for CPL license qualification in my state.
